  1. Why are you surprised? He's not a normal person. He's a disruptor. He's intentionally trying to place people that 1, will do ANYTHING, he asks. And B, that shows a history of doing things, he knows, can... do things to disrupt the norm. Someone is feeding him a list of people who they think will blow up,, the way the legal and constitutional norms have been. They learned from the first term, that they need to have people in place, on day 1, that are on the team 100%. This is why we're screwed, for the first 2 years of his term. Because the house and even the Senate, probably won't do a damn thing to stand up to his demands.
