Man, it was a manned missile. Barely any wings for maneuverability. Basically rocket fuel. I think there was a rocket car that looked alot like the x15. Cept for the bottom rear fin and mid vehicle wings. Like the dragster of the sky. Thanks for an interesting video.

Sounds like there are so many issues with the design just to save fuel. Maybe less frivolous flight is a better answer. Man has become an insatiable character of whimsical travel. Maybe staying home more could save fuel better than constantly congesting the airways and roads with yet more fuel hungry vehicles. Notice how during the virus year, the price of fuel went down so nicely. But omg, people had to stay home more. But nooo,,, can't have that. The world used to be a large, but calmer place. Maybe that wasn't so bad.

@mr.boomguy Yeah, I'd say it's like the metal in any engine or transmission. Lubricant, motor oil, trans fluid keeps metal to metal contact, as best as possible. But it's inevitable you'll get wear. And unlike a car, aircraft are defying gravity, hundreds of ft up. And an engine seizure is or can be fatal. But I'm guessing these wearing parts cause more than just seizure or lock up. It's sounds like the pieces are larger than the fine wear in a car engine. So there is the incinerator that destroys the particles. And possibly that's what causes the ignition of the engine. And with 2 engines required to have level hover. Spinout results. And the speed cannot provide lift. 🙄
