My opinion is, the carbon fiber collapsed. Obviously killing everyone almost instantly. Once the carbon fiber was gone, the rest fell apart. I believe the carbon fiber was crushed, and once it's gone there will be no more sub. Just the rings, the stuff in the tail, the rail, and the domes. Still under pressure obviously, but just loose parts.
My opinion is the carbon fiber compressed at a different rate that the titanium parts. But I'm waiting to see if there is anything left of the tube. If carbon fiber is brittle, it could very well have shattered like a coffee mug, a glass jar. If it was only glued, to the rings and it shattered, you'd think pieces of the carbon fiber would still be stuck to the rings. If its found that the carbon fiber did shatter, they will know never to mix and match carbon fiber with titanium. Let's wait and see. I'm sure when they examine everything, the whole story will be explained.
