I don't think any military like to admit failures. I can imagine it's really hard. These weapons of war seem almost as detrimental to it's users as the so-called enemy. Very sad.

I can only imagine the sorrow and anger. Knowing that these things are preventable if only every precaution would be taken. But egotistical captains, owners and money overthrows all of those, sometimes. Ships too large to control. Top heavy cargo that makes unexpected events too difficult to handle unless everything,, is perfect. And we all know that doesn't happen very often.

 @Morpheus187 I don't think any company insured, wants dead people, on their list of losses. Then you're talking millions with no recovery. Unlike merch. But you're right too.

@Acheiropoietos I guess we should take that lesson in when 70 plus million voters want to reinstate djt as dictator wannabe again. Power corrupts. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely. But from what I've seen and read, Putin has always desired the old Soviet Union, reinstated. And when he found out the financial benefits of being King, that was the icing on the cake.

@Maelli535 And these are the people Republicans want to hand Ukraine over to. Everyone is expendable as long as the leaders save face. They don't truly care about the Union part of, The Soviet Union. Just the ownership and blind loyalty.

@timmi59 Agreed. Do we honestly not think part of the delay and coddling we've given trump has a little bit of disappointment, of half our countries population being so disgusting with the government, that almost half of the voters would place in the highest office in our country too some of the people who've been president. And then to top it off, elect a proven scumbag, to that office? It's going into the history books. Forever remembered by the history scholars of the world, that America, openly elected this....thing. And what about his spawns. Not just the children But the members of Congress who praise him and want nothing more, than to have him back. Very,very sad.
