  1. Thanks Zack, I had asked if the battery would be self replaceable. Does look doable. Does peeling the back off distort it for reuse, or do you have to buy new? Also, how expensive is the mother board, if charge port becomes sloppy? Or, would a competent repair shop be able to resolder new port? Thanks again, good video as usual.

  2. teakertown If I'm correct, once you pull the back, you can pop the plug on the battery. That will shut it down. You should probably get repair video on computer or another phone to make sure you pull correct cable.

  3. teakertown Yes I do. Just watched video and yes when u pull the back the battery cable is eligible for unplugging. Course after this amount of time, I'm sure your battery is dead. 😀 Good luck.

  4. teakertown Do like the pure. I'm not hard to please though, came from Virgin Mobile where you are stuck using the phones they offered. Switched to cricket mid last year, got the pure 32g version black no moto maker frills, but yes, with my budget the pure was it for me. Always wanted front speakers,,, and nice screen. The pure has it. If it ever gives out I'll get another with 64gb, but 32 is actually plenty, especially when I'm used to 8,,,talk about no storage. Mostly I hear good reviews. To bad Motorola sold out again. Lenovo probably won't keep the X series alive. Be nice if they did. Moto x pure 2,,,,, I could dig it. take care.

  6. Anirudh Hasija Hi, I'd say if repairs are gonna cost near what a new phone would cost, hell get a new one. Not worth the hassle and probably never work as good as new either.
