  1. People always make claims about how Germans all fell into the Hitler trance. But don't dig deep enough to see that at the time Hitler came to power, Germany was going through a terrible depression. I was born in Germany in 1952. So my mom lived during the Hitler time. She also told me that Hitler did, bring Germany out of the depressionary period. Obviously, this was before the times most Americans see Germany as. Here, we ALWAYS,hear about Hitler as the terrible murderer. Which obviously became his place in history. Now, I came to the US in 1956, with my mom and adopted American soldier dad. So from 4 years old, I'm an American. I schooled here, played here, went into the army here and have worked as a carpenter here, ever since. I consider myself an American, but I still try very hard, to see things with an open mind. History isn't always 100% perfect. Like the Bible, it's written by humans. Not gods. So events aren't going to be 100% infallible. Sometimes not even close. It's written thru the eyes of human beings. And like every story, changes ever so slightly, every time another human speaks it.
