  1. Thank you so much for your research and explanation. Growing up my mom being German and a Lutheran, wanted to go to church here in Florida where my adopted dad brought us after he left the airforce in 1958. I remember going a few times but it didn't last. My only connection to religion was elementary school where saying the pledge of allegiance daily gave me a dose of god. Growing up I did have people in my life that were weekly church goer's, so I did believe in God. But it wasn't until I had my own ability to think for myself did I question a God that would allow so much bad stuff , bad people and bad treatment of many people. I didn't understand how if there was a God, he could accept so much injustice, poverty and unequal levels of income. Now, I believe it's not religion that's the problem, it's the extremists that use it as a way to culttise the maybe true believers. It's like owning a gun. I know there are many many gun owners that are safe, thoughtful, responsible gun owners. That are all for responsibile gun safety and control. And are smart enough to know, no one is trying to take their guns away from them. Extremists on anything, are dangerous. Thanks again for your take. 👏
