@landdealsCA Yeah,yeah, Like Trump or any republican, wouldn't have done it the same way. If not worse. If u have ever been in the military, u know the old saying,," hurry up and wait". We don't know who exactly, makes the first command, or made it. The decision to leave was made during trump's watch, way before Biden was elected. I do agree, after 20 years, even one more year wouldn't have made a big difference. We could have slowed it. But everyone, parents of troops, troops themselves, the majority of the public, were pumped to go. But to just blame any one person, or administration is shortsighted at best.

@landdealsCA Unlike trump's behind the scene deals, Bidens choices are right out in the open. We never even knew about the Taliban deals till now. Unlike trump, investigation will be almost nothing because Biden try ran on doing exactly what he did. Like I said, I'm not sure if he insisted on any moves without question, and as for any aid or renewed change s to how things are going, I'm sure he'll make whatever needs to happen, happen. So that this mess doesn't have to continue as is. As for the other allies involved in the battle. I have to think he communicated with them before going ahead. Maybe noone knew the Taliban was just waiting in the wings, to swoop in, maybe if Trump would have been a normal x president, he'd have filled Biden in on everything they did, as to the agreement made with them, they could have figured in the possibility. You're right about one thing. If they do investigate everything that occurred, prior to and afterwards the transfer of power, the world will see once again as usual, trump had his size 00 hands in on it and 80% of it will fall on his ego trippin tiny brain. Unlike trump, Biden probably listens to his advisors. But, also Biden will accept all the responsibility. Again unlike trump, that only accepts the good things, and denies all that is not to his benefit. But I'm sure you, and other trump sheep will only accept anything totally holding Biden to blame. All I know is,for years, this police action frustrated presidents. Cause your damned if you do, damned if you don't. He took the shot and made the decision.

@landdealsCA You're correct. On both points, surprised as I am to read you admit it. Personally I don't see an irreversible problem. It's like a bank hold up. You've made agreement s to allow the crooks to leave the bank if they promise to release the hostages. They renege, you simply fall back and add more forces. If the Taliban doesn't cooperate, we send in enough force to show we mean business. If the problem is getting out of the country in general, the afghan military need to fight the opposition. 20 years should be plenty of time to learn how to fight for the freedom they have experienced for the 20 years. That's just my opinion. Most of America feels the same. I believe.

@d.s.5807 No ones leaving anyone there to be tortured. And,the only idiots that made deals with the Taliban,were Pimpao. Sent by ur glorious leader, Mr art of the deal. There was never a deal that wasn't for his personal benefit. Bidens not a fool. And he's definitely not a heartless,soulless person, that would leave anyone where they are in harms way. Why do you believe whats done todate is it? As for the afghans freedom. How would you handle their fight for their own independence? Everyone else in the free world, being there forever, dying for them, while they sit and do nothing, or them standing up for their own freedoms, even if battle had to be part of that freedom? So many arm chair quarterback's. Blaming others for what they themselves wouldn't know what to do. Hop on a plane. Go to Afghanistan. You make the deal. See the reality. We all sit here and criticize. We re good at that.

Come on, The situation there is no different than yelling fire in a building or movie theater etc. They said we're leaving, suddenly it's every man for himself. You just can't move dozens of thousands of people who don't speak the same language with a limited transportation effort and a force like the Taliban trying to make trouble,, without a mess. Look at it this way. A mass exodus from say Miami Florida, cause of a superstorm. It would be a mess ..
