@robbienicholl852 Robbie, I'd be happy to call you friend. I don't do Facebook . Too many people talking about every pimple they've ever had. But periodically I run into someone in the comments that I end up talking with , with like minded ideals. It's good to know the world is similar no matter the Continent. I believe Ireland was one of the places Obama was so taken with, and them or y'all, with him. He was a good president. The right hated him but he is a good man.

Come on guy's, don't use popularity, as a good reason to agree with protesting terrible behavior by some cops. Agree or disagree for a good reason, not popularity. I hate hearing and seeing the death by overkill by police as much as anyone. But sometimes, the police are conditioned to overreact because they are,,on the front limes of daily crime. Just like troops in combat, daily, hourly seeing, in our eyes,,, crime's. Even if they label it war,,,and agree that in war, there are casualties , called, acceptable damages. But to an individual, that's not acceptable to him or her. Police live a similar existence. They witness, murder, severe cases of spouse abuse and just people abuse by people. All the shit you or I only see if it happens to us. Yes, there are some cops that do not,, deserve the job. But there are,,,, thugs that don't deserve to be on the street. Cops should take a step back before each incident, and think. But sometimes there's only a second,,,and under those circumstances,,, would any of us do any better?

@robbienicholl852 You can't just look at it from one side. Sure, Trump is the instigator and chief. No doubt about it. But what do you think happens when peaceful protest, turns into burning down local stores, with chances of yet more lives lost. No one should be ashamed of their heritage. There were people back then, just like us. They didn't agree with either side. They saw the big picture. The world will always be made up of good,bad and ugly. That won't change, and probably shouldn't. Being understanding isn't a flaw in character. The fence is there for a reason. Sometimes It keeps people honest. Oh Trump is most definitely the worst. At everything. But just wrong as a president. . I'm on no fence there Rob.

@robbienicholl852 As for people being taken from their country and brought here to be slaves. Yes that is a terrible thing. But you can't be ashamed of being white because of the way some people,,not all,, thought back then. It was nothing new either. They do it themselves. Even in Africa, India, wherever, there are classes of important people and potential ,,, laborers, or slaves. The British went to Africa and took over parts for themselves. Yet now in England, I believe blacks are maybe more equal than here? Not sure. Something to look in to. Not even all slave owners, thought of their, so-called slaves as inhuman. Many gave them piece's of land and trusted them as equals. But we don't hear that. History is not always fair or perfect or even honest. You have to think for yourself and question everything.

@robbienicholl852 It's truly hard to say where the buck stops with Trump as president. In a truly civilized environment, we should be able to agree on things so they never go so far out of controlled that there is so much turmoil. I too hope Biden wins with enough a scale, as to not question America and her voters. The polls show we are ahead, but when you realize only half of America votes,,, I find that crazy. @robbienicholl852 Well, things do get better in some areas but stay kinda stagnant in others. Most of us can only deal with life as it comes. There always have been just so many people that make a difference and make things better. But it seems it's the way of history that we always have some turmoil , even though the advancements. When I was young and raising our kids, we hardly ever talked politics. Life was better then. My wife always says, don't talk politics or religion. I think shes right. But we will certainly vote to take out the trash.

Daniel Scott I agree, each case is different, but it sure seems like a trend when the attacks are just so much overkill. Like,,,,one shot, quick to react. Two shots,,,, usually fatal. Any more is uncontrolled. And if we're talking, in the back,,,,,,no excuse.
