That's great and I totally agree to the plan. But,,, I hope the administration does something to aid low income people in fuel price rise. Many of us just cannot afford 2 and 3 dollar fuel hike. We were having issues before. My work truck hasn't seen a full tank in years.
You're right that oil companies or gas distributors are definitely taking advantage of our need.
People who don't drive for their job or totally rely on a vehicle to work, can always sit there and tell others, move away from fossil fuel. U ride ur train or jump a cab, place to place. But hundreds of thousands of us use our vehicle for work and don't have the money or resources to go electric. It's all well and good to say,,, an idea,,, but implementing it is another.

I just want to know these people s reasoning for no increase. Is it that they want no,,, increase, or just not 15 per? Let's see how they'd like it if we decided to lower her salary.
We know it s not going to happen overnight. The 15 dollar increase happens over so many years. So what's the big deal with passing it? I know, as do we all, raise the minimum wage and the companies pass the cost on to consumers. Not cool. And maybe reducing companies profits some how, through regs,or something would bring costs down, so what we earn, goes farther? Something has to be done. It's like health care. The reason for the battle for better health care is mostly because it's so damn expensive. Well that's the same problem with everything else. Food, gas, rent, mortgage, most everything costs so much. That's the problem with the world in general. Why do you think people buy chinese or other non us markets. Capitalism creates greed, big profits. Big shots have to have 10 houses. 5 planes, 6 yachts. Etc. So makes tons of profits, to shove into their pockets. But heaven forbid the average working stiff being able to have two cars, and a home and paid bills, and still buy food and other essentials, without sacrificing something else. That's the problem. If not higher wages,,,,what then? Something should be done.

I agree, though Cheney was very much appreciated during the investigations. And many many, podcasts boasted her as a hero. Along with Adam Kissinger. But many of us, though crediting their work on the committee. Still know they ran with trump 99.9 % of his 4 years. Harris was trying to show Republicans, she'd be their president too. But hell yes. The butt kissing of Cheney and even talk that she would have had a spot in the Harris White House.
But sorry, she did press the issue of trans rights, many times.
But yes I agree, her campaign made many mistakes.
Trump won only because of her failure and sorry to say. But being a female was an issue. I heard it many times. A woman can't be the president. I don't agree. I voted for her. But I believe that, just like with Hillary, is an issue. And in a close race. Every issue counts.
What's strange, and I'll never understand. How did trump and Obama get so many of the same voters? Obama even won Florida. That's a weird scenario to unfold.
The biggest problem is how to deal with this upcoming administration and the congress being in its pocket.

I read a big percentage of the the comments and see all the anti old, remarks. Obviously none have seen the movie, Children of the Corn. Youth doesn't always mean correct or right about things.
I agree either party has their selfish ideals and things that serve their self interest,, on both sides. But don't think younger is better, or that Bernies ideas are all practical or even possible.
I watched his Fox forum thing. Though he had responses for everything, he did get a bit hesitant on a couple of questions given to him. Which is understandable,,, I'm just saying, y,all think it's so cut and dry, doing all government does,,,,, it's not. There are reactions to every action and they're not always gonna come from, kumbaya sources. Experience matters. Running the business of a whole country and its world connections, takes more than being an instigator and a young newbie in congress. Not that any of the new reps aren't capable. But it takes a village, as they say. Old and young alike. Oh and yes,, I'm talking to Pelosi too.

Tell me something David. How do you think it goes over, wearing a swastika shirt everywear. It's a South Eastern symbolistic emblem. But also being a Nazi flag, it's a very negative meaning. Right?
I have always thought, since I came to the US at age 4, that I am an American. I'm not a German American, Jewish American, etc. The fact that people come here and promote the country they're from, in a way of resistance, is not cool. I'm from Germany
But if the US, treats Germany a certain way, I may not be happy about it, but I'm not going to make a bunch of German outfits and signs and condemn the US, unless it's a totally horrible, unprovoked treatment. Then I may say something. Since 9,11. We have a definite mindset against Muslims, Arabs, etc. These are where these behaviors have come from. So why?, if these supposedly intelligent Congress members are so smart and understanding, do not THEY, conform a little, to be less provocative? You have 3 or 4 Congress members that just so happened to get elected. Vs hundreds of average American members. Why is it ALWAYS, the majority that have to submit to the several? When do they bend a little?
2
-
That is true. I'm surprised Jen said that. In that way. Did sound very,,, capitalistic? Cost over safety. The Biden administration is definitely not concerned with spending to have better health care. So once again, I'm surprised she didn't ponder a bit before saying it like that. I have a feeling she'll apologize for it, if she hasn't already. I honestly believe she doesn't have that mindset, and I know she knows the administration wants only the best for the people, and getting this virus under control.
But in all honesty, if people who are, for some reason,,not getting vaccinated, would just get the vaccine, testing wouldn't be so necessary. You get vaccinated, then if you get sick, you treat it like a regular flu, stay home, get rest, and if it gets more severe, you go to the doctor, and they test. I think that may have been what she was maybe trying to point out. When not hearing the whole q and a, we can't be sure.
But I know, Biden and the administration is really pushing, get your vaccination! And Jen does say it always. So if people don't wanna get the shot but wanna test forever that seems crazy too.

He's part of the administration. More than he's been for years. He would have to truly smooth out his overkill ultra left ideals,if he wants to be president. America is more centrist, that left or right. The Dems have the right mindset, if you go in with both feet to either side, your gonna lose. Biden won because a majority know he's got the right stuff. Willing to bend to the right aslong as doesn't go too far, and same on the left. The old saying,,,you can't please everyone,,,,is a good ideal to go by.

They haven't become minds of mush,, they have always been that way. They have never had a platform of which to vent and feel they have a voice.
And yes,, cult,,, is the perfict description . Insanity isn't new to the world. Different levels of insanity are common too. Like road rage, excessive prejudice, etc. These are the Trump supporters. They've never felt embraced before and had rallies and a platform. Trump tapped into that group. Like sheep, they'll follow him over the cliff,,, only thing is,,, he'll secretly have a parachute,, so he can continue on, after his reign is over.

The 70 million sounds to high to me. If anyone can create phoney votes, it'd be the party that has done everything in it's power to, curb voting, create redistricting, etc. They want to stop any thing, that will take away their having, the last word, the last say so. And they boast that at every turn. We would have had at least one more liberal justice, during Obama's terms,,if not for Moscow Mitch holding back a vote to endorse. Just like Obamacare, roe v wade, money for the virus for certain Americans. Mcconnell has the power to just not listen or hear a bill, and he loves it. So ways to assure almost a third of the American voters loving Trump,,is difficult to believe.

@delboyg01 oh and PS. The dems have gotten more things,,, done, as you say,, that the house Republicans and senate got done in trumps first two years. Taxes. They re alway a givin,, in a republican term. And the judge crap,,, same thing. McConnell has been after that since he got into the senate. The only republican president that has raised taxes was the first Bush. So if you're gonna use those as Drumpf accomplishments,,, Sorry. As for the wall,,,, we're still waiting for Mexico to write that check donny. And as for NK,,,,, little Kim is laughing all the way to the white house.

Come on David, most media services probably get their information from initial reports. You can't blame the other services for the way they get information and report it. They usually do more explanations after the initial reports. But they want to be the first to put it out. Clash, by itself would mean to me, 2 parties coming to a head, period. Then you get the details. Eventually it comes out. Mostly. Look at that reporter that was killed and dismembered. It took much research to find out exactly what happened. This situation would have peaked in time. Actually. I'm almost tired of hearing these events for the most part, third world thinking countries. Bad news is everywhere. With social media grabbing every terrible story , and reevaluating it for their own monetary gain. We see and hear everything, 50, 60, times. We could go around constantly, in a state of depression. With the beating the drums of social media, news analyzers like u, pacman, Jesse. On and on. And you're all doing it,to make those precious utube bucks.
I know you put in time, downloading these events, producing the segment and reading it. So it's a job for y'all. But don't keep bashing the real media, that has reporters, news people etc, that get you the footage for you to criticize.
2
-
David, when the heck are you going to get it through your hate that all the freebees that Bernie lured in voters with aren't the answer. Sure we Definitely, need health care reform big time. But do you think even Sanders was going to get the US a free Harvard, or Yale or any big college for free? No. That's why we have community colleges.
And if the brain dead Bernie nuts don't vote, because Sanders isn't the nominee,, they deserve more Trump and then, shut the hell up. And this includes u David. Your constant running down of Biden, puts u in the catagory of Trump supporters. No matter how u try explaining after wards. If Trump wins again, do to ,in part,,,your Biden bashing,,,then I don't want u to make a penny of utube bucks slamming Trump next year.
PS. As for poor college grads, having to pay for that extra high brow edecation. Don't you think that its only fair, that they pay for something that will assure a possible 6 figure salary? My daughter went to a good college, but she did it with scholarships by working hard throughout her highschool years to learn and use that learning to win a at least, partial scholarship. Then she worked at college to help pay for some of her school needs. Sure, she still had some money she had to pay back,, but she makes decent money and can afford to pay it back.
I agree colleges fees are too high. Maybe that's where Bernie should aim his sites on. Instead of Free everything.

You truly have a vendetta against Biden taking your guy down don't you David. Funny she was going through a undesired divorce by her husband. I'm not saying it never happened, but it's just strange a supposed liberal as you say u are, to fight so hard to convict Biden. People who are fickeled will sometimes make up stories about something maybe they wish happened. There are no doubt hundreds of intern, politician stories. These highschool kids in the big gov life,,, thrilling.
If it didn't happen and Biden loses the election cause of it,,,are you gonna come out big time and apologize? I'd say, probably not.

Come on David. Your attitude about any heart related surgery is ridiculous. Sanders is almost 80. Healing is not the same at all compared to a 58 year old person.
No one just gets over any heart related surgery in,, as you say,, a couple of days.
I'm curious what you'd be saying about Biden if he was going through the same thing. Probably nothing, or some more criticism.
Noone wants anything to happen to Bernie,,. Also, Clinton s problem was fast food,, Sanders is a slim supposed healthy eater.
Nevertheless, I hope he'll come thru fine. But don't act like he's in for a pimple pop. He'll get the best care and will be okay. Takes time when you're older.

Right David, Canadians are so pure as the driven snow, until the dreaded American hate virus suddenly crosses the border. And infects them. I suppose gayness, poverty, sexism, porn, and anything else controversial, also was never a thing in glorious Canada, until it drifted in on the wind, from the US.
It truly must be difficult to be gods, without flaws, living on the border of such a pit of vipers as America.

I have to admit, at 70 years old, I've heard doom and gloom weather news since I was a kid. I agree man and his constant attack on the planet has responsibility for climate change. But not totally. There were extreme climate changes way before the industrial age. It's obvious that pollution, air and land related should be curbed, seriously curbed. For the health future of man, animal and ecological existence.
As for Hunter. Thanks for mentioning his past, in which his mom and sister lost their lives. Because yes, things like that can most definitely can affect you and cause you to harm yourself with drug usage. And then obviously creating other reactionary issues in your mind and body. I have a stepson that got involved with drugs from age 14. Unlike the Bidens, we're not wealthy, so he did more common things. Stealing, selling our stuff. Anything, to get his fixes. Always promising to pay us back for it all. Any of us that have never had that addiction, will never know the mental hardship that puts on the person and the family dealing with it. It took probably 10 years for him to start getting clinical help. And even that didn't work immediately. Trust me. You don't know anything about it unless you've lived it. So for all these Republicans, that do shit like stop funding for drug related rehab programs, then bitch about someone like Hunter. Are aholes. Nothing less.

Come on. Obama tried the slam technique your pushing and look what happened. He ran into a roadblock until he dumbed it down to what Trump is prepared to dismantle right now.. Maybe enough people will sign in. Dems and republicans,,, but I doubt it. If Bernie wins in 2020 and we still have the Republicans in charge of the senate,,,, the same damn thing will happen. Until the senate is totally revamped, there will be roadblocks. You talk a good game David,,, but until the old republican guard is washed out,,, all the aocs in the world won't push through the gauntlet.
I mean hell,, we have house control now and still, McConnell stands there next to Trump and laughs at us. If Trump wins in 2020 and the Republicans hold the senate,, you can bet they'll get yet one more judge in the Supreme Court. Ginsburg probably won't make another 6 years.

@OldTeaMate Firstly, there's nothing wrong with big business, as long as it knows it's place. Yes, the government has kinda allowed it to go too far I think too. But it creates hundreds of thousands of jobs overall. Society couldn't make it if u had to have a million individual little grocery stores, garages, shoemakers etc. It just doesn't work that way anymore. The world has grown too much for that type of lifestyle. But on the other hand, big business needs to have oversight. Regulations. That's what's come of business now. They are allowed to make all their own rules.
I like Bernie's,,,stand up,,, attitude, especially for the little guy. I don't know exactly what he would have done, if he'd have won. But u can see how the right is walled up, against Biden. And he's not as left on things as Sanders was proposing. So how would,, anything, get done with Sanders as president.
Let him run again in 2024. I don't think Biden will try again then. He got his wish, he's done good getting things done for more of us than Trump would have done by far. But he'll be 80 or more. And he's already showing signs. He doesn't want to go out as a senile senior. So let Sanders try again.
Oh and u mustn't generalize . All of America hasn't been brainwashed by corporate power. Many people know business isn't always the perfect angel. But you can only do so much. Because of money. When you have business buying many gov officials, all the bitchin we do, only goes so far.

@lynneanderson4255 I don't go by what the talking heads say, I go by what I see, what the individual says, does, and their record. I never said Bernie was, ultra,,, anything. He has his points and ideals like many politicians or people in general. Personally I like his him. He's a kind person that probably has great ideas. But he wouldn't have beat Trump in 2020. Being in the Biden administration puts him out there, able to contribute more I think. Trust me, I don't believe propaganda, from either side.
1
-
@lynneanderson4255 Times have changed since FDR. Especially with the hyoe of dt. We needed some one who could pull conservative voters, that were disheartened with Trump's behavior that was more a centrist. Bernie didn't have that, in my opinion. I would have voted for sanders if he'd have been the nominee, but he didn't get the votes,, sorry,,but data or not, he didn't get the votes, so how could he have taken votes from Trump? Let him run in 24,,, but he's up there age wise also, so he'll get age crap just like Biden. I voted for Hillary, but living in Florida, the people here have the same thing with her that they are with Sanders. The propaganda defeated her.

You just can't be all right or all left, all the time. I'll bet we can find some of those ideals, even in you David. Or even David Pacman. @matthewwilderbrokemystride2972 Well of course. No one likes them. Cept maybe bank robber's. I'm sure hospital workers hate them, and it's their job. That's not the point. It's to help the blatant spread of the virus. Any virus. Before this one hit we had to only deal with colds or other contact bugs , that can be transmitted by touch or close contact. This virus kills. Obviously not everyone. But I'll tell you, if I thought I had it,,,which maybe I do,,, maybe I don't. And to possibly prevent handing it to a person that dies from it, means wearing a mask in the presence of others to protect them,,, it's not killing me to do so. Until there's a cure or vaccine or it runs it's course we can suffer a bit of inconvenience.

@paddleduck5328 No but there are many Republicans up for reelection in 2020. The worst ones too. McConnell, for one. These head Republicans are the ears of Trump and need to be voted out. If we get a democratic president in in 2020 and they still have the Senate,, it'll almost be another Obama presidency. So all the talk of better health care and a lot else,, will be almost impossible to pass. True, it's president, president, president,,, but the talking heads could bring it up, if they weren't so enthralled in aoc and Bernie and putting down other dems.

I'm sorry David but you seem to think Obama had an option on the health care issue. It seems to me the Republicans would never,, had accepted anything that didn't included something they accepted. You can see exactly what happens by looking at AOC, and how tuff and next to impossible it is to force a plan through when you have an opposition party in charge of, at that time, the house and,,, the senate. Obama is making that speech with the facts on his side, after he saw the challenge. You and AOC and other wannabe law makers think it's just,, put up an idea and bingo,, it goes through. We're not there yet. We don't own the senate. I'm tired of you bashing Obama and the other seasoned vet decent dem politicians, and calling them sellouts, to corporate markets. If it's so damn simple to you how easy it would be to change procedure,,, run for fucking office and show the nation how f, n easy it is. You've heard the term, arm chair quarterback? Well that's how I see you. You sit there with your utube business sidelining the game, but all you add to it is talk.

Come on,, What talk show host, news talk person, politician etc, aren't well off? NO,,, persons, making big bucks are going to fight hard to have less. Morning Joe can afford to be any thing he wants. His worth is around 25,000,000.00. I'd dare say he's financially comfortable. Politicians start out not working for pocket change. I'm sure e even AOC, is thinking,,, Wow, jumping from 25,000 a year to 175,000,,,nice. Sorry, but that no doubt would spoil about anyone.
My point is. You kinda want to say the politics game doesn't take some give and take. Id have to think it's more than just enthusiasm and desire to make a difference. You are right about one thing. Dem or republican,, in my lifetime of 66,,neither party has done a whole lot for lower income folks. The wealthy ALWAYS,, do just fine. The poor, seem to cruise,, maybe idle along. It's the working stiff under say 30,000,,that are just making it. I don't know who'd be the best president, as to the dems come 2020,, as long as it's not a republican. Honestly,, I'd rather see the senate change hands. Cause as long as McConnell and the Republicans are in majority there,, I'm not sure what any dem president could really do.

There is so much crap in the United States that rapes the American people financially. Drugs and medical aide are just one. Why do we think no one in the business wants their portion of the crimes to be overseen? Billions in profits,, that's why. That's why here in Florida, when Scott was governor, oversight to medical, decreased. Because he was in that business.
I'm a dumb average working stiff, and I see the bullshit that goes on with government bending over backwards to cater to big profit industry. Cause that's where they get their contributions. Couple mill here and there,,,and the oversight disappears.
Yeah, capitalism,,, it's nice to have freedoms. Seems way nicer for some than others.

Getting a little sick of these newbies thinking they know everything. They don't want to deal on their far left agenda, any more than the right in they're denial. Bidens getting bashed from both sides. He's working his ass off trying help people, and between the idiots on the right and the young punks with their so called,," progressive", fit throwing behavior, he can't win.
Remember the tea party. Another group of young, but this time Republicans, thinking they were going to rule.

The things she says makes great sense and it supposedly was the idea behind the American ideals. I believe greed got in the way of what was,,,, to be what the forefathers imagined. America just got too big and power of greed got totally in the way of those thoughts. Unfortunately, our government leaders are sculpured into wealth by big business and the billionaires gifts. Which is supposed to be not allowed, but look at our government leaders. Where are the average ones? They are all millionaires. How many millionaires are going to cut their own throat financially? As long as there is a 20% to 80% offset in the leadership, we can't win. There's a reason no strong contender for office, runs as an independent. Also. You do need experience. So, many newbies get hooked up with veteran politicians and before you know it, they fall right into the trap of trading gifts for votes. It's a vicious cycle.

@robertwilliams3501 I'm sorry friend but third party has been tried how many times, and all it ends up being is an extreme of the main two. Look at the tea party. He is a voice for the little guy. But to be as ridiculous as to write in his name, so what,,,you àre gonna keep supporting these,,, anti everything they don't like utube talkers that make more money than most average worker's,for doing nothing but stirring up trouble. John Doe Dear John, I'm assuming ur a trumpet. If not, I apologize.
I don't know about everyone, but I believe in a self less government and politician. Not a cult, that sits and chants, lock her up, lock him up,, because the boss says so. That's a cult. A good man or woman would NOT, allow that happening but put that type of hatred out and tell his countrymen that that's not,,, the was civilized people should be. I'm not saying, ring around the rosey, everyone kiss and make up. People can disagree and work on a problem so most are satisfied. That's why I prefer a middle of the road government. Not right or left. But it's true. There are people on both sides that want their way to be the only way.

Come on David, it's true, Republicans were etched in stone on conviction, but yelling at what you call, main stream media, isn't ridiculous, any more than u as a main stream media, arm chair quarterback isn't any less ridiculous. These talk shows like Meet the Press, are trying to ask questions people may be interested in. You need to quit trying to bash the real media. Without them, you utube rereaders of the news, would have nothing.

This woman is Ike the Tokyo rose or the Nazi propaganda woman of eras past,,, only worse. You can see she's all for the hype or propaganda,, but her vicious tones and slanderous, venomous dictation spews hatred ten times what any Trump hater could ever throw out. You can feel the hate in her and she's proud of it. Isn't it always funny or strange that all these so called, conservative,, women. Always seem to want to look provocative . With their obvious seductive hair styles. Makeup and clothing, etc. I'm wondering where the conservative aspect of their ideals come in. I'm guessing they want to look hot in the presence of all the big shot billionaires that own or manage these platforms.

OMG, these super rich. Exactly, they take advantage of labor, sales, etc. Sitting on millions and billiions, while workers live pay check to pay check. Sobs. They say, ' I gotta give 50% to the gov', not saying, they're still billionaires even then. Trump said, I don't take any salary as president. But why? So he can deduct it from his business earnings,,, probably.
I'd say, only in America,,,. But it happens all over the world.

David, I'm sorry man, but sometimes your explanations aren't so damn right on either.
Not one person is saying poor or low income shouldn't get free or paid for college. Relisten to your explanation. Bill Maher has been fighting Trump when you're little snickering show was a dream. You're so head over heals in love with Sanders, you can't see reason it seems. You Sanders sheep are going to be the reason Trump gets a second term, by your obvious hate for anyone that's not Bernie lovers.
Difference between you Sanders sheep and the rest of us is, if Sanders doesn't get the nomination, you'd probably write his name in, just for spite. Where if he does get it, I'll still vote for him and not be so damn righteous as to write in whom I liked. Man, you have to stop being so damn obvious with your infatuation of Sanders, and get with any candidate that will beat crap outta Trump.
There's a fine line twixt calling yourself a " progressive," and falling for the hype that Sanders is pushing. You saw how tuff Obama had it getting anything done with a right wing senate. And his desires were more centrist. Do you honestly believe Bernie's loud ness, is going to give us all the free shit you want? We need to win in 2020. So we need a candidate to be more centrist. Someone both sides can say,, " I'll vote for him, cause he's not a lopsided lefty. I honestly think, Biden can get votes even out of disenchanted Republican voters. I don't think Bernie will.
1
-
Well doesn't that sbow u how puny the idle progressive young voters scale was. If 25% voted for McCain and Obama still won by a landslide? Face it, Bernie brings to the table all this free, free, free stuff. Every time you ask Bernie supporters why they want him, its all, free college, free health care, on and on.
You're attitude about police is half valid. When you have a person commiting a crime, say breaking into your house,,,. Are you gonna ask him,,,hey man, do you have emotional problems,,, then say, well let me call the mental health patrol. Hell no, ur gonna call 911 and say, there's a burglar in my house with a knife or gun. Or even just his fists. It's the police job just to, bring um in. Then, the proper agency takes over. Seconds matter if anyone break's in to your house. Maybe Bernie would sit there and talk the thug, and say stuff like, were you loved as a child? But I don't think so. He'd call the cops,, period. These people are gonna say anything to get elected. Getting it done is the problem.
I'm not saying Sanders wouldn't be a decent president. But u can't just push it and say it's law,,,. That is why Trump will probably be gone in November and January. He's pushing things that aren't what the majority wants.

People down cops, but no one realizes, except other cops, how difficult the job is. Every day is a risk of getting flat out shot for doing the job. We are hearing, again, Black lives matter, and they do. But how often does anyone say, Blue lives matter. Not only do cops live every day with a target on their back, from nuts that hate them just cause their cops. Think about rage of a cop, the next time some one cuts you off in traffic. Then multiple that by a few dozen every day. If a cop lives in a troublesome city, they get several calls a day from people who may not want them to get home that night.
Sure nuff, some cops should NOT,,be cops. But untill we walk in their shoes,,we won't know.

@novaeclipse139 It wouldn't matter if they did go. They have suckled on the Trump tit so long, they would just make ridiculous proposals cutting the amounts of aid, and then said, we tried. Biden was looking for places were adjustment could be made and still accomplish the aid needed. All the repubes want is to make cuts that they don't think are necessary. I think Biden had his mind made up, as to what money's went where. He probably just wanted to see if any,,,, Republicans, were in, if spoken too, in person. Non were. There was someone that said it perfectly. The Republicans didn't vote for the financial aid, but they sure took it.
1
-
@TheVinc123 Because voters have short memories. Mcconnell, stood on his tongue for 4 f,n years that trump traitor, fed on and idolized Putin . He also sat on money the house wanted to use for voter rights in the face of proven russian interference in the 2016 election. This is where he picked up the label.
Just like we NEED!, to air speeches made by mcconnell, Graham, trump, etc, every single time they come out saying things like," its the Dems, driving thru their agenda, in regard to padding the courts, making voting unfair, etc.
Mcconnell is a thug wannabe. Hes a loophole, maker. And during the time the Republicans owned the Senate and Trump, they took every advantage to make the courts more and more conservative. He sat on bills delivered by the house, even the white house, so long they became obsolete. This, is how he got his name. And he deserves worse.
1
-
@novaeclipse139 exactly. Its their way. I think if mcconnell was gone, and they would get a different more centurist leader, maybe things would change. But the way their kowtow to trump now,,, there's 0 hope for them to survive as an honest party. Hell. They weren't that much better prior to trump. Look how they treated Obama and even B Clinton. If not for both having such high people support and admiration, they would have been even less successful. Both, took us outta a shit storm, and brought the country back. Now Biden is trying to do the same with our standing in the world and ourselves. Unfortunately, Biden is so under the gun at such a late stage in his life, its truly gonna be tuff on him. Especially with right wing bashing and, even left wing demanding so much so soon.

I have to believe most of us believe anyone that has a job, should earn enough from a 40 hour week to live a decent lifestyle. And omg yes, when any company that has that much clear wealth, paying employees a wage that needs food stamps or apply for public aid,, it's ridiculous. But,,,, just raising wages to a set amount is not the answer. What happens to the guy or gal that have worked for 25 years at a job just to earn 15 or 20 an hour? Do they suddenly start getting 25 or 30? And doesn't everyone think the company's will just raises prices to cover the raises. Damn right something needs to be done,, but just jumping minimum wage to 15 or 20 or whatever, might not be it. And Bernie or any other president Wannabe, can say anything to make people vote for them,,, that is no damn guarantee it'll even happen.
1
-
David, I'm tired of your baby talk, poor Bernie bullshit. You pop outta college and think because u got a few young reps in the house, you know it all.
So, rather than be happy there's a Democrat that may beat trump. You don't even f,. n live here. Worry about Canada David.
I agree for pay for college for people who can afford it and lower income get aid without payback. That's the way it should be. Both my kids went to college, then my daughter has a good teaching job making 70,000 a year. Wasn't that why people go to college, to make decent money to pay back loans. No one likes bills bone head.
If people like you, that love Bernie and he doesn't get the nomination because a majority voted for Biden,,, that's the way of a fair election.
I had friends that worked polls in fla. There were no lines in crowds here. Vote by mail then.
If people like you don't vote for Biden cause it's Bernie or nothing, and trump wins,,, it's on u asshole.
So sick of this Bernie or else bullshit,,, Bad as trumpsters.

David if you weren't so stuck on Sanders, I'd be more apt to more agree with you on things. Bernie constantly pushes the socialist platform and I'm sorry but that's gonna put him down in debates and the election against druump. And your downing all the time the MSM. Where the hell are you gonna get all your information without them? You, the turks, all y'all rely on the MSM for ur feeds. I don't get it. It's going to be Biden in 2020. Get used to it. Even with the crap the others try to pin on him, he's showing the strongest polling numbers of peeps who agree he s the one to beat Drumpf. Sure,, he's not perfect. But the hard left push, probably won't win with the voting majority,,, and that's what we need. At least this time around. Put Bernie in a job, if we win in 2020,, that he can be effective in. Same with some of the others. Biden probably won't run in 20 24,,, cause of his age. Then maybe one of the others can run,,, after tested in more in house positions. That's all I'm saying.
1
-
@delboyg01 It's not giving up or settling. And yep, you're right, it is a long time till 2020 election. Also,, anything can happen. We all know that. That's why I said. The dem candidates need to get ideas for how they individually, would put out for,, their,,, policies. Then put the ideas out there for the public,, dem and repube alike to read.
You're right too about the fact that people don't really know the newbies plans or ideas. Because the debates are too,,, tied to exact questions,, which not everyone is interested in.
Trump did not inherent a crap economy or anything. But he's taking credit for what took 8 years for Obama to fix, after another wonderful republican numbnuts president did to screw everything up. Difference with Drumpf, is he can't stop taking credit. All the while getting us in league with dictators and allowing them to see everything we have. Including private tours of the white house. I agree with having talks,,, but you have to be smart about it,,and he's not. As long as they praise him,, they're in the link. Anyway,, it's true the dems may not be doing everything right,,, but we all hope they come together on the sure way to make Trump a one term lump. I'm sure he's gotten plenty of ruthless new friends to help keep him in business. If,, he stays outta jail.
1
-
@delboyg01 Well I'd say you had time to write,,, a bit,,,? 😊. I totally understand that both parties cater to the corporate world. But ya gotta admit, the corporate world does have a great deal to do with,,, the world. Money does make the world go round, whether we like it or not. So we have to work with big business one way or another. The days of mom and pop only,, biz, is no more. Even small businesses rely on multi million dollar business, to exist. The so called, progressive,, candidates are a bit foolish, to think they can just push their way in and take over. That's kinda what I see they're doing.
Sure, it's refreshing to see them standing up to heads of companies and even other members of the party. But they have to expect some push back, if overzealousness, doesn't work. Kinda like when any people's push back against their own gov. It may make the gov think,, but more than likely big sudden change ain't happening.
We do need new blood,,, no question. And I don't put them down for trying. After all, they are supposed to be our voices. For sure we need more equal pay, definitely health care etc. That should be priority.
I'm not against anything u said. But as a good vacuum cleaner said,,, you have to get your foot in the door. Then be smart and work with the customer to ensure they understand u and u understand them. 👍
1
-
@delboyg01 Hey, I'm not against adjusting things. I'm the first to agree big biz needs to be have rules to give the worker better pay, and benefits. But as with everything else, they'll just pass costs on to the consumers. Why do you think every tool etc made here, costs twice as much as almost the exact same thing from Japan or China cost. As for Germany, great Britain other European countries, is that why a BMW or jag costs 10 to 20 grand more? I don't know.
As for the newbies ideals being communist,, I don't think that.
Bottom line is, change will be incremental. Not immediate. It just won't. Not from what I've seen. You're right about representatives being our voices,, thats what I said. But honestly, only another revolution will do things quick. This has been going on for years. And not just here,, throughout history. It took years for the US to get this greedy. It's probably gonna take A while to make changes back. The dems need to prove to a bunch of people maybe even trumpers that they have the true plan, and lay it out, in a debate type atmosphere. Prove the boasting will work. If I had the perfect well,.way,, I'd be running for a office like myself. Let's beat Trump first.
1
-
@delboyg01 I'm not disagreeing with all of your comments. But I still have the belief that there has to be a compromise as to change back towards better wages, med benefits, etc. Not that it doesn't have to happen,, totally agree there. But business has the upper hand. They are the employers. Therefore they can do things for the better or not for regular employees. It is a two way street, but when you see how they always have the ability to hire whom they want. That's why immigration is so controversial too. Big biz could push for open borders, let's just say. Then hire all the help they need for way less pay because immigrants are hungry for anything,, pay way more flexible.
I'm getting into a crazy jumble of reasons, but I just think the threats or accusations the newer reps are pushing, won't work without compromise. That's maybe, what the older members understand? I don't know. I just don't think it's cowardly or wimpy behavior on the side of dems. Or greed. But I'm not up there so I kinda wanna give them some credit for knowing the ropes. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see. If the newbies make some progress, great. They have my support. We obviously need change.
1
-
@delboyg01 Sorry but as true as it is that dems aren't the,,, beat down the door tea party of the left, some of the new members of the house are. But as close as they are to center is for a reason. We aren't privy enough to go watch all the interaction between senate and house goings on, so I'm not sure, " other than the progressive news interpreters", where you are getting your talking points and information, showing the dems folding to every issue. I don't sit on every commentary that David, and David Pacman and the turks make, because honestly, sometimes I wonder if they just wanna start trouble. Or make vids to bring in the bucks. They obviously don't listen to each others clips because I see the same story, same vid clips from the news centers, on each show. Same clip. So what we're getting is their opinion of the actual same 6 o'clock news. I'm not putting u down for ur beliefs,,, at all. But what do u think happens when AOC, or any of the newbies walk into the senate, wander around looking for McConnell? Sure it makes the news for 1 day, then the Republicans make fun of them behind closed doors and still nothing happens.
As for Obama not getting much done for 8 years. I'm guessing you aren't remembering the shit mess he inherited? Plus the ass wipe Republicans shot down everything he even thought of, and he wasn't even allowed put in a Supreme Court Justice, with 11 months to go in his term. Ridiculous.
1
-
@delboyg01 I keep saying my bottom line is, I know the dems aren't perfect but for years people have tried a third party and it's never gotten anywhere. Because when you break down the third party person, they're just a mix of both ideals anyway. But neither sides ideals are best all the time.
You have to have a balance of mindsets for a government or a business or any constitution to work. You cannot go too left or too right. The old saying, You can't please all the people, all the time,, is right on. That's why the founding fathers laid out government the way they did. That's why we don't have one person making all the decisions. That's why we have elections. The problem is,, our elections aren't perfect and fair. Probably most Republicans aren't with Trump. But because the leaders, McConnell, Graham, etc have like power over the Senate's votes, everything is at their whim. All the house and senate are, are a bunch of people we elect to speak on our behalf. But when only 50% of people ever vote, or less,,, how's that fair?
We need to have left and right thinking in our government officials. We need middle of the road mindset, because no problem is always black or white. There is a gray area that has a right to be heard.
Pelosi caved on the border bill to get something done and money to the problem. That's all. If she didn't,, the senate would have gone to break and there'd been nothing. She's no one's fool. She's a negotiator. And knows how to get something done when working with brick walls like Trump or McConnell. You call it caving, along with the other, " progressive s,". But if she didn't, nothing would ever happen. The crappy ugly part of the senate and even the house need to be voted out. But not to the tune of another lopsided one. We honestly do need a better middle of the road. That's all I'm trying to say.

OMG, so many David's here. We don't know that all the things the Trump administration has supposedly done against Russia's best interests have been carried out.,,do we for sure? We do know the obvious,,that Trump admires dictators. In Putin,in Kim and others. We do know Putin is no dummy. And the fact that Putin gets Trump alone in talks without aids or advisors or even an American translater,, that he's going to push Trump's button's. Kim did it,,and we find they're still doing the missle construction thing. Maybe they haven't tested any openly yet. But u see Kim got sanctions lifted.
Your right about not making any total accusations till the report comes out to Congress completely and unabridged. But come on. Trump has a total history of being crooked. He's proven he hasn't changed or seen the light. I think we pretty much have the right to assume, he's still a crook and is using the White House as a cover to aid him and his family in future game's of profit, while the republican machine has it's way with it's desires in the background. But you wait,,the longer the report sits in republican hands, the more they can play with it's findings and find a sleazy way to make it more favorable for him in 2020.

I support using and funding all sources of energy. I'm sorry David but there is no way, right now, only wind, only water, only solar, etc, is going to cover all the energy our country or any others need to do everything. We do need research to any realistic sources of energy, and I think we are. But I don't think we're ready to jump off of fossil fuels. Cost has a great deal to do with it. Look at man made oils for vehicles. It costs half again as much more for synthetic oils. Average folk can't always afford it. That's just one example. What's the old saying,,,, everyone talks about the weather, but no one does anything about it. Well,,all you guys that condem fossil fuels,,are you out there inventing a perfect substitute? No. I can't afford solar for my water and a windmill for partial electric that only works on a windy day. And I'm no fan of large scale batteries. They're not chemically safe for our environment. All y'all fuel activists start using more brain and less mouth.

Hell no,,, Sanders is no Trump,, by far. But all the,, I'm going to do this for you and that for you... Is getting old.

0 voices of reason. Graham is so unbelievable, because the hand up his butt is djts. Ingram? She is a Fox robot with 0 integrity.
First, Putin should be gone a fied, somehow. He's a loose cannon. With way too much power. He's obviously the last word in what the military does, and blatantly said, Ukraine is a fake country and needs to be taken. I'm sorry, I agree with graham in this one comment. How else will Putin stop doing what he does best, kill people, so he can feel powerful. His arrogance is rivaled only by that of djt. You don't win an argument with someone like him. He's one of those guys that need a good ass kicking.
These people love,,to use others to do their dirty work. While they sit in luxury in front of the big screen TV and watch their handy work. Trump had his moment on January 6th, and Putin's getting his rocks off seeing a truly loved president of Ukraine, in distress. Disgusting.

Come on David, what the hell do you think the process is? No matter what the house does, the senate would have to approve. Trump would do what he's always done and sled the blame on dems. I appreciate your hyper judgment and desire to bring new comers into play,, but the same as slowly things have changed to the right, it takes time to move the ball back to the center, then you'll have more of a platform to put in better policies. Yelling at everyone that doesn't think exactly your way is no better than the people you are fighting against. You're splitting people up worse by trying to shove Bernie down peoples throats. It isn't cool, when you say stuff like,,, if you don't like who I like, you're ridiculous. Yeah,,, thats a win win.

@Dennzer1 Firstly, I'm not politically radical anything. Government just can't be off the cuff. Or you end up with fanatics like McConnell, Graham, Grassley and others that are so stuck in their own selves and bad to boot. I have no problem with change,, it just can't be done overnight or over a year. People like David think it's a cakewalk if you are all ramped up and razzmatazz. Take the house. Yes, we have many breaths of fresh air as newbie reps and I'm glad,, but change on the scale of a country, doesn't happen suddenly. The dems that have been around for years are still there because they have the knowledge of age. They know what will happen if you push to hard without opposing side coop. Even you smart progressives have to see how the right has done what it's done over time. By being crooked too,, but I'm thinking the dems don't want satisfaction due to crooked politics. You and I are nothing but ballot makers, we vote and hope who we vote for forms an honest competent administration, unlike trumps. Even if Sanders were to win, unless we get an even senate along with keeping the house, he'll be blowing in the wind trying to get all his big ideas anywhere. That's a fact.

Personally I think we need to quit with the labels and just operate the gov with intelligent compassion for people's rights to a decent life, rich or poor etc. This crap where one side acts like everyone should have everything for free, the other thinks Noone deserves anything nice unless you work for it, no matter your circumstances. If you have a fair mix of ideals and gov mindsets,,, things work. You can when one side or the other has too much power, people get hurt while others prosper exponentially. No matter what anyone says, the tax crap by Trump and the repube congress screwed over the middle class and made the wealthy, wealthier. All the while taking money from the programs that allow at least some bit of social decency to its recipients. Ms McCain doesn't seem to worry about that, though on the surface she seems to care,, just doesn't want her dollars taken to help the cause. Seems to never end. No matter who's in office,, the little guy gets the shaft, while the wealthy always,, do better. I would love to see any wealthy person, but I live on even 10 bucks an hour.

Well as to ideas that work for everyone,,,,?,,, very few on the right, offer much of anything. Shapiro is really a flake. Answers every question with a question. There's so much crap with abortion going on. It's the woman's right in the end, period. Or should be. Give the woman aid, advice, emotional guidance. Anything she needs to make the decision with a clear mind. But in the end,, it's her educated right.

Williams is just asking the question from the rhetoric from the right kept saying it was so much a part of the close call or losses in many states and communities. Trump and the right drummed it into the people, and it stuck in many areas. Just like you and others shove progressive,,down our throats. Biden did do well enough, but not just cause of progressive voters. Come on, stop trying to push stuff in the first moments of Bidens term. He's got a hell of a lot of stuff to do, just getting things back to the center. Much less impatient,. "progressives", saying,,,ok, your in now,,,time for payback, right now.

Come on,, she should have said, Some people of my faith, but extremist in that faith, did a horrible, indefensible and terrible thing., and I condemn them and their actions. She could have said anything with more tact. But no,, she's coming on as somewhat vindictive and in your face. Telling others, I'm sick of being singled out as one of those people that committed the,, something. I agree, she didn't have anything to do with it,,, but why is she bringing this up? It's like she's wanting to be confrontational and angry about feeling discriminated against and not also understanding why some people have what happened on 9,11 still etched in their minds and she doesn't seem to care about them either.
Sorry David but obviously you've never witnessed anything done to anyone in your life by a type of person, and had it etched in your mind so you feel a little animosity, or suspicion of others of the type. You're pretty quick to condemn any democrat that doesn't jump up and hug miss Omar and tell her they are so sorry. Maybe you should feel as understanding of them as you feel they should be towards her. And now your saying,,, all the old guard of the democrats should step aside and just let the 20 year olds take over?
I'll tell you. I am against Trump because of his move to take over everything. But when I hear some of your points, it doesn't make me want to follow your lead totally, either. Too much of anything, isn't ideal,, no matter how you look at it.

Well I don't know where you saw 17 per hour to start in the us. Seems you'll do, anything,,,to stand up for Bernie. David's point was, that thru all bernie's boistering, the US min wage still hasn't gone up to a livable wage.
I don't know exactly the facts of amazon work ethics etc, but u can't trust every claim as fact either. All of big business flavors the upper echelon. Amazon just has such huge profits and amount of workers,it is always in the limelight. Businesses, will only give what they are made to, by the standards. Maybe Bernie needs to work just a bit harder to make the standards higher. Then amazon will have to as well.
You can't keep comparing Canadian wages, gov issues,to the US s. I'm all for a mandatory living wage. I've never made more than 55 thou a year, but have a home, cars, food on the table, sent two kids to college, raised 4 kids. Constantly saying, raise the minimum wage,,,is the answer. May not be ,,,the answer. Maybe getting costs down in this capitalism based country,, would help. As soon as wages go up by force, costs go up too. Something definitely must be done, David. But maybe all yall tube bucks workers, making a living giving your opinions, may not be as helpful as you think. Though I'm glad you guys bring issues out, ur personal opinions, and comparison s to other countries, when you all have your share of issues, may not be helpful.

Come on David, can we get off this, "progressive", crap? I'm so sick of hearing that if you're not a labeled, progressive,,you can't have new or ideas that are not everyday. You people that wanna shove, progressive,, as if it's a god send, are behaving just as a mirror of the so called, conservative,,,right. Too much of either sucks. That's why Biden did better than Sanders. He is what the majority of people are looking for, a little bit of both.
It's like when you say,, Canada is best, or we say america is best. Suddenly we're at odds.
I know u don't always agree with Canada's politics. But I'm not sitting there bashing your government. There is no,, perfect government. Just look like there's no perfect individual. We all see a red or blue shirt a shade different. Quit trying to start fires, that's what Trump did.

We could have run Joe Biden, and probably done better.
The party SPENT!! Over a billion dollars on rallies for yuppieish, rappers, Oprah, and other stars. And the average American Democrat, didn't see it was for them. So it didn't't impress them. Tim Walz, could have probably won as the pres candidate. I wasn't impressed with her in 2020, when she tried to pull the, Poor little black girl. And told Joe Biden, he was a racist.
I voted for her and Tim, but would have equally voted for Joe Biden. Personally, I think Joe, as low as his," poll", numbers were, would have won or at least won the popular vote.
For one I agree with you.

Most of the,, military involvements, don't start out being wars. I the sense of what a war really is. More like,,, constant skirmishes and police action. We're there on so called missions, that don't end. According to statistics. We've not come close to the casualties in Afghanistan, that we had in Vietnam. Thankfully. Still, to anyone involved, are just as war weary as anyone that's gone through combat. Takes a special type to be comfortable with getting shot at, feeling the area for IEDs or professional mines. What sucks is, the guys that get the country into wars, are never the ones doing the fighting. Maybe they strap on gear and give it a try. Maybe then they will do things more diplomatically.

@johnshyer6287 Nor do I. I just know that some of my customers tell me things like, we get together and feed the homeless, things of that nature. Cash is generally used for building maintenance, paying the preacher etc. Humongous churches,,,yeah,, they are a concern no doubt. Look at Trump.74 million voters,,they say,,,so all they have to do is get a buck,,from each one. 74 million buck, drop of a hat. .50 cents ea. 2 bucks ea. Bam! Ur in the money honey. It's a shame.

I don't know Dave,,, when Bernie answers a question with a,, just because,,,? Doesn't make me feel so reassured. Real explained answers is what people are looking for. But it's true good medical care, no matter your ability to pay should be a must. And sorry Dave,,, just because you feel , because u don't have to worry yourself with your Healthcare needs,, because it's all taken care of for you by the government,,, there is still paperwork and headache for people in the biz. My sister is in the billing aspect of a hospital,, and no matter who pays the bills,,, they gotta get paid. Or, doctors and nurses walk,, which is not supposed to be in their code. I don't know what the best way to go is,, but I see the facts. Money,,,, is the biggest culprit. Everyone in the biz if medical care,,,, wants it,,, and as much as they can get.

@newbieprepper8451 No, it's not a get outta jail free card. Plus, what are the charges? Taxes and some gun possession charge. We thought y'all were fine with tax cheats, (djt), and gun ownership by all?
No one, is saying Hunter is above the law, (djt). And maybe they plead guilty, unlike,(djt), in order to put it to bed finally. But both charges are misdemeanors , I believe. So probation is common in those.
But ya know, at least he had some reason why he was in the state of mind he was in. Seeing his mother and sister killed in an auto accident. Tell me what's bothering trumps kids to do what they do. Rich from birth. Silver spooned their whole life. Yet still, divorces, drugs, insatiable greed. Explain that one.

I agree. The idea sounds like a possible, in a perfect world, but not with the way these people have acted. Prosecute Trump for all we can. And David,, James Comie isn't all the Dems mind set. Quit stirring the pot about how screwed up every Dem is except AOC, Sanders, and the extreme left calling them progressive and making claim all the rest of us are goof balls. The world went round before AOC, Bernie, and even your show. You seem a decent guy, but you're ideas aren't always the best or what a majority want. What are we in the US?, 300 million voters. That's 300 million individuals. All with their Ideas about different things. Not all the same.

WRONG! On the fact that no republican is saying anything about the open border policy.
What was wrong with her Fox interview comment? What the hell is ur answer to people defy reason and are willing to kill themselves, if it means killing others? You sit there with your,,so called,, progressive,,, ideology, but you have no sure fire answers! Anyone can be an armchair quarterback, and bash other's that are at least trying, to do something.
As for the borders. Let me throw u an analogy.
America was buillt by people making a diamond out of a piece of coal. They fought the weather, had wars, illnesses and lots of other hard knox things to build a great land. What's happening with immigration now is, people who don't want to fight the crime, the crooked government, and other hardships to keep their own freedoms. They would rather come here and use all the fought for achievements that our forefathers died for.
That's what people are complaining about.
It's ironic. We have several houses on our street that have just been purchased by people who, don't seem to have jobs, but have brand new vehicles, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, the kids have all the most expensive toys, and don't speak a word of English.
I respect any immigrant that comes over properly, works to influx him or herself into sociaty and calls themselves Americans. I came over in 1958 at 4 years old, with my mom and my American soldier adopted dad. I've considered myself an American all my life though born in Germany. I've worked , been in the military, Vietnam, then worked again, raised a family, paid taxes, all my adult life. This is what I expect an immigrant to do.
If i went to another country to live, I would expect the same out of myself.

@joeanderson9930 You're right Joe. We shouldn't treat anyone like animals. I don't even treat our pets as animals. And we should help people in NEED. That's the thing. Are they in need or just don't want to fight at home for their rights and freedoms. There may be true needy and created needy. People who send their kids over via brokers they pay to shuttle the kids to the border, knowing most Americans will never turn away a poor kid. It goes on and on. Until it's not about the hundred thousand that come in, in a flood.
I think we should help the country the people live, to create a better existence there, so they can thrive in the their own homeland.
Sure, the periodic people's leaving their country for a different life is understandable. But when practically a whole country decides to force their way into another country, because it's been built up nice by others,,,is wrong. And when people come into the country illegally,,,thats by force.

Well, ya gotta admit, Biden saying,, we have to get them off the street,,, doesn't mean kill them. It just means to me arrest and deal with them. I its not the police job to judge the person at time of arrest. I'm guessing thats his meaning,, I don't know. I guess sure, every decision Biden made, may not be perfict, but I think he is open to suggestions and other ideas. I'm not down on sanders,,, I just think his positions could be a little extreme. That doesn't work so much in the gov as it stands. You said he would get the middle of the road vote, and the conservative vote? I don't think so. I was a Democrat when. I first started voting, when I voted for Obama. But since the Obama care program seemed to much to favor insurance companies,,, I moved to the Middle, or an independent voter. To me the past is behind us. We should vote on the facts as they are now. Thoroughly research the benefits as a whole of Americans. Between the candidates and vote. I keep hearing, corporate dems. See,,, we may think corps are bad. But they are the hirers of the US. Be strict with them, but you can't just dump them. Sorry, but you have to walk a line, as a politician. When you fall too much to either side, you alienate the other. You can t always call yourself a republican or a Democrat. It's just both sides have 80% of the power.

walt charamba I'm not judging Canada or the Canadians. I'm making a point that, all these Canadian tube analysts, are going on and on about how screwed up America and American government, vs the people, is such a mess,, which it is,,, but listening to David and that other dude, going on and on about Canada's people's distain with their own government leaders,,, I had to chime in. You know,,, pot, kettle thing? I'm definitely not standing up for trump or how our asshole senators are screwing us over. Hell no. But when outsiders are telling us how we need to get our shit straight? It's like the TYT, folks. Raving on an on how fucked up our government is, when the mess in their countries is worse and is more constant than here.

Well all you that think its so easy for Biden to get Rump,,,look at the impeachment. Hours and hours spent. Probably millions of dollars spent throughout. And for what. Do you see the big,,,,,stain,,it put on his presidency? None. Almost 45% of voters, still voted for the schmuck. As long as he has 70,000,000 plus voters, he has clout with these Republicans. He is a walking vessel of crookedness, but he has a connection with almost half of American voters. And that is not a simple thing for the Dems to deal with, as long as the Republicans own the Senate. When are you going to see that and stop making Biden look like a flake. He's going to have more than enough to deal with, without dealing with u neysayers.

Trust me, not all of us are blind ro things Desantrump is doing. But he does have to abide by popular demand. Sure you have the moral majority fringe, but that's nationwide. We just unfortunately have MANY, old wealthy northern retirees. And they are donors . So many things are not state wide not what he wants, so no matter his jackass desires, the people aren't going to stand for certain things. He has a big following in the state government, and that's how he pulls off stuff the majority aren't happy with.
Personally, I think he's thinking about a pres run, so he's doing shit he didn't do in his last term. This maybe what authoritarian leaders do. Feel out their first term, and if u get reelected, your head grows. He says it often. I won with such a big margin, I'm the king! Not sure.
There are people all over the country who are religious wacks and crave power. I'm sure even in Canada. See, trump didn't harp on shit like Desantrump is. Trump didn't really care about gays, abortion, religious craziness. Desantrump obviously is a holy roller or maybe his wife is, not sure. The things Desantrump is getting down on stuff trump just didn't care about. Desantrump even signed the gun laws for raising the age and being against assault rifle's after the shootings here. But that was his first term. Someone or bodies, are pushing his shot for the white house, and I believe that's places blinders on his judgement or something.

David. It's no doubt true, to a degree,, that they aren't treating people well at the border stations. It is disgusting for sure. But I'm sure it's not every agent or cop. Plus, there are individuals and groups trying to run aid and needs down, as much as doable as they can. On the flip side, the behavior is meant to be a sign that it's not a vacation point, come at your own risk. I mean hell,,, when you go to a theme park, there are signs that say, cross this line at your own risk, alligators in pond. So who do you blame if an idiot says, oh that's bunk, there are no gators here and he gets his leg bitten off, then tries to sue the park?
It's truly a catch 22.
I agree, we should and could supply them with sanitary and medically sound basics. I mean we do our prisoners. Even murderers. It's ridiculous and totally unnecessary, for kids and anyone to have no basics. Not when we're supposed to be so humane as a people.
Things do need to be done though.
