  188.  @delboyg01  I keep saying my bottom line is, I know the dems aren't perfect but for years people have tried a third party and it's never gotten anywhere. Because when you break down the third party person, they're just a mix of both ideals anyway. But neither sides ideals are best all the time. You have to have a balance of mindsets for a government or a business or any constitution to work. You cannot go too left or too right. The old saying, You can't please all the people, all the time,, is right on. That's why the founding fathers laid out government the way they did. That's why we don't have one person making all the decisions. That's why we have elections. The problem is,, our elections aren't perfect and fair. Probably most Republicans aren't with Trump. But because the leaders, McConnell, Graham, etc have like power over the Senate's votes, everything is at their whim. All the house and senate are, are a bunch of people we elect to speak on our behalf. But when only 50% of people ever vote, or less,,, how's that fair? We need to have left and right thinking in our government officials. We need middle of the road mindset, because no problem is always black or white. There is a gray area that has a right to be heard. Pelosi caved on the border bill to get something done and money to the problem. That's all. If she didn't,, the senate would have gone to break and there'd been nothing. She's no one's fool. She's a negotiator. And knows how to get something done when working with brick walls like Trump or McConnell. You call it caving, along with the other, " progressive s,". But if she didn't, nothing would ever happen. The crappy ugly part of the senate and even the house need to be voted out. But not to the tune of another lopsided one. We honestly do need a better middle of the road. That's all I'm trying to say.

  235. WRONG! On the fact that no republican is saying anything about the open border policy. What was wrong with her Fox interview comment? What the hell is ur answer to people defy reason and are willing to kill themselves, if it means killing others? You sit there with your,,so called,, progressive,,, ideology, but you have no sure fire answers! Anyone can be an armchair quarterback, and bash other's that are at least trying, to do something. As for the borders. Let me throw u an analogy. America was buillt by people making a diamond out of a piece of coal. They fought the weather, had wars, illnesses and lots of other hard knox things to build a great land. What's happening with immigration now is, people who don't want to fight the crime, the crooked government, and other hardships to keep their own freedoms. They would rather come here and use all the fought for achievements that our forefathers died for. That's what people are complaining about. It's ironic. We have several houses on our street that have just been purchased by people who, don't seem to have jobs, but have brand new vehicles, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, the kids have all the most expensive toys, and don't speak a word of English. I respect any immigrant that comes over properly, works to influx him or herself into sociaty and calls themselves Americans. I came over in 1958 at 4 years old, with my mom and my American soldier adopted dad. I've considered myself an American all my life though born in Germany. I've worked , been in the military, Vietnam, then worked again, raised a family, paid taxes, all my adult life. This is what I expect an immigrant to do. If i went to another country to live, I would expect the same out of myself.
