@Dizzykitty817 You take an oath that you will defend the constitution of the US when you go into the military. That in itself doesn't give you TS security clearance. I was a radio operator in the army and had to have a TS security clearance because information is transmitted via airwaves. But even then they used code for many transmissions, and an officer had to decode it not a lowly spec 4. They make u have a TS clearance incase u overhear anything that u may spew. When you take your oath, its legally punishable by death. I believe that's enough to scare most people.

@perryjohnson6461 Thats a no go anyway. He's not supposed to take classified documents out of the white house with signing them out and probably many, not at all. Top secret information has to be kept in an environment totally secure. That ain't his basement, his home office and especially not a resort club where guests are frequent. Bottom line, those files were NOT!!!, his to take.

Personally if it's possible to just appeal to the 11th circuit right away. I think they should. After all the 11th circuit is almost balanced. 1 or 2 Republican appointed judges, and the ruling is overturned. And the DOJ moves on to slam the door on trump.

@avsystem3142 Yes but, how many trump appointed judges have ruled against him and held to the word of the law. Most of them. Especially when it came to him begging for standing about the votes. All we'd need is 2 Trump appointed judges to go with the Dem judge's and the ruling is out.

@Veritas-invenitur I'm not sure why they'd need their SC. They aren't any longer in the, need to know, status. Only by permission of the current president can a past president get any TS information. Yes, they do get protection , but not daily briefs. And launch codes are changed daily anyway. So he's not going to have any chance getting orange makeup on any code listings. Thank God. But I'm sure he's privy to lot's of shit while he was,🤮 president. This is why documents do NOT, leave the white house, unless they are specifically checked out. This is why the ahole is a crook and a treasonous bastard. As his clan says, Lock him up.

@Dizzykitty817 interesting. My mos was 25C . This was back in 69, but I do remember there were different drop down mos branches. But yeah, they just don't hand out TS clearances. I had to have a background check too. But just because you get a TS clearance doesn't mean your blatantly given every secret,haha. I also trained 72h because there was a discrepancy with my citizenship. So while waiting for that to resolve i took switchboard school. But you're right. When you leave the military all that training goes for naught, unless you either start your own business, or luck into something in civilian life. I tried the phone company, but they weren't hiring. So much for, hire the vet. So I ended up working for my dad building houses. I hope you Navy career went better. Take care.
