They are right to some degree. Being a grifter, you use the... attitudes, of your audience, for your sales pitch. And he's learned that at least, in his 70 something years. Plus, he has speech writers too. All evil and condescending. They too know the audience, and what they fall for. Trump is a pitch man. But not a smart man. The problem with calling it a, joke. When he makes these comments. Is that, sure, he says it because its in the script. But he honestly does it when he's in power. Come on air head trump voters. Sure, u excuse his talk as a joke. But you see how he acts around other authoritarian leaders. He LOVES their power over their people and he'd be right there, unjokingly, accepting the title of monarch of America, unbridled. Think again about it being a joke. It's not.
