@jeanlundi2141 Most of us just go through life just trying to survive. I don't mean to survive a war or attack. But doing what average people do. Work, raise a family, be a good neighbor, be a decent person towards others etc.
We elect our government to deal with government stuff. We get drafted, do our duty get out, most of us... And maintain our day to day lives.
If we wanted to run the show,,, we'd run for office. Our jobs... In the government way. Is to vote in people who do those jobs we can't.
It shouldn't have to be our job to oversee and regulate our elected officials. We should be aware.. of their doings. And if they're not doing their job, we vote them out. That's what governments do, govern.
They comm with other governments. Make appropriate deals, and interaction for our and their best interest. We shouldn't have to hold their hand when they do the jobs we elected them to do.
I'm a carpenter remodeling person. I don't expect the person I'm working for on each job, to walk me through the project I'm doing. I'm the professional they are hiring me cause they're not. Government works the same way.

brjema1 WHAT!!!! The Dems ran everything during Obama!!! Where the hell were you living during the Obama presidency? He couldn't take a crap,,, without the whole damn"Republican", Congress saying,,,Are you done yet?
They stood watch on every damn decision, signature and ideas, his administration set to try. In the end,he didn't even get to pick a person to get the supreme Court nominee. Don't sit there and try to compare the,,,yes boss,,crap that goes on now to president Obama s time. Trump walked in to a growing economy,,and everything getting back to decent. Obama hsd to straighten up the mess caused by yet another wonderful republican president. And did it despite the Republicans hating him, disrespecting him and his family. Bunch of nothing but hypocrites.

maria schultz Trust me, the only satisfaction I'll get in talking about him is when he's gone. For an idiot, he's done more to divide the country, make the US a joke, in the eyes of the world, and fill his ego and bank accounts, at the cost of all his followers, cause his deniers aren't pitching in a dime,,,than any president ever. And ya know,,,if he was sincerely loyal to those who back him, it'd at least be something in his favor. But he turns on everyone that doesn't give him total blind dedication. All the people that ruined their reputation working for him, and they do 1 thing he doesn't like, they're out, jerks, losers, on and on, to him. He cold, unfeeling, shameless, unsympathetic, ruthless, scheming. I could go on. There have been many in the world scumbags, in the world. But he's right up there with the worst of them. That enough TDs for u?

@garyfumeaux9226 I read some of the bull your site showed, and it doesn't at all sound realistic.
It's been found just since mask wearing started and was followed, not only did covid spread reduce, but cases of flu colds and other transferable illnesses were sharply down. Many of the other questions they put up were skued as well. These sites refer to outdated research and done in areas of the world that don't run with how medicine is done here. Or the cases they show aren't relevant to the virus spread. Come on, use common sense. Nothing obviously except hazmat suits stop transmission totally. But masks do help. Using antiseptic, and washing hands does,,,help. If you only cut germ spread in half,,,less people will be affected. Ignorance,,,is the one thing that doesn't help at all.

@iluvamokabodengyoza Typical Right Wing texan. Trump did 0 to benefit anyone but what the rich. He did exactly what the Right Wing Senate leaders wanted. They didn't even care about your precious wall, and u see it didn't happen. Trump is an egotistical, power hungry sap. That was used by McConnell and his handlers. As for your, find a sane, version of trump,,,. That would only be someone like a McConnell, McCarthy, etc. If the republican party is what we are seeing, with their sickening, behavior to the attack on the capital, keeping any of Bidens beneficial for average Americans, programs, from passing, decency for all. Then I doubt there are any Republicans worth voting for. Trump was greedy, egotistical, power hungry moron. That really wasn't a republican, he just went towards the type of people he is. And that would have him. Crooked republicans.
Bidens done nothing wrong. He s trying to do things for the average American that's not been done for years. And trying to get the virus under control. But Right Wing talking heads and even some so called, progressive,, Dems, have been on the offensive with him all the way. The right, because he is getting things done, and they hate it. And the progressive Dems, because they say he hasn't gone far enough. So they argue with all of his tryings.
They aren't all the same. Sure, we don't agree with everything they do, but that's normal. You can never please everyone.

@r.mcbride2837 Exactly. When pres Obama had a perfect right to nominate a justice,,,11 months before the election, the assinign right,,,froze him out for 11 months. Now it's,,,we are going to put their pick in, asap. No matter his background. Check out Kavanaugh s attack on B Clinton, and the Lewinsky probe. Very curious the hypocrisy of his claims now.

Did you look up McConnells pic of Amy Coney Barrett? Her major qualifications were her desire to cast out Roe. Yeah, your rightists really wanted a qualified jurist. Hang up your,,,you leftists,,, attack gun. You do nothing but follow the pack and repeat their lies.
You're fired.
I'm guessing you know who said that.

Moderate American come on,,, I do remodeling work and as of yet, tough times or no,,, I've never worked for a hurting Realtor. Trumps no different. He shorted peoples pay, fallen through on loans, hell done way worse, while walking away with a bundle. Thing about realestate,, it's big quick money. And lots of it if your just a decent realtor. Anyway Trump inherited 80% of all he's gotten anyway. Money can make money just sitting in the bank. You have enough of it, you can live large just off the interest. Trump is a pompous, self centered boob. With for all his wealth has the IQ of,,,well, not much. His kids are the same. They've lived off the name all their lives. Now they're all allowing the US to be their,,foot in the door,,to opportunities.

@privatename3621 I've watched movies, and I'm sure in history, there's been crooked politicians. People with nothing in mind when running for an office, but what it'll do for them.
We don't have a monopoly here on that type of politician. But seems we have our share. Funny thing is, they have no nationality requirements. Rubio, DeSantis. Obviously not the, good ole boy,, background. Seems Republicans can find the talent of sleaze in every nationality. Guess that helps pull those votes, from people who would normally vote Democrat.
Didn't know all that about Scott. But it figures. He and trump have more in common than I thought. Self serving sobs.
What a bunch of scumbags, politics lures.

@uenwadw6675 Putin was never, Emperor,,,of Russia. Maybe in his mind. And if he takes one inch into any other country, he'll be emperor of a country of the damned, or the walking dead, because he'd start ww3. And no sane person wants that. So unless you're saying Putin is,,, insane,,, i doubt seriously he'll go to trying to go farther. He wants Ukraine, like he always has. He hates the idea of Ukraine being independent. Ukraine is a port hub as well. Very valuable to Russia. He wants Russia whole,, always has. He may have a larger desire than that, but he's not a fool. Taking back Ukraine is one thing. Taking any European land,,,,? That's a nono. Unless you're itching for a nuck war.

@IreneBelasco Never in history,? McConnell sat there when Obama was president, and bragged that his most happy moment, was to make sure that Obama was a one term president. He is the voice of the Republicans senate,,, for now. All the Republicans follow him in voting. They may have different opinions and ideas and ideals, but they make a pact to their devil McConnell to vote with him. Why? That's not sure,, but they do.
In the house the Republicans took the SAME pledge, but when u ask them to explain its the same speech embedded in their brain, no doubt they go to bed with a tape running the same bullshit over and over, cause they know it by heart. GUARD THE TRUMP, GUARD THE TRUMP. That's not individuals with their own minds. That's a cult programmed to do one thing. Protect Trump.
Don't give us this crap about the tried and true Republicans, individuals with their own minds but knowing Trump is so pure and true, he'd never break the law. Remember the primaries? All those tried and true Republicans, telling at that time, the truth about Trump. I don't remember all of the words but Loser, crook, insane, liar, slum lord, crazy, idiot. And a dozen more.
Now suddenly he's Mr perfect? Oh I doubt it.

Well of course, a black man way more popular than him. This is why Trump cannot,,get a second term. Obama, 2 Trump 1. If Trump gets another time to do more damage , it will put a black eye in the office. He got in unknown and with the anticipation of doing things he promised. As is typical of Trump, he's screwd up the office of the President just as he's screwd up his businesses. Obama took a crappy economy, and got it going again. Trump is messing it up. Come on folks,,, vote like hell to remove his horrible ass.

Michael Brown That's a very good question. I can't remember if they were or are detaining people for that,,but if so, you're right to ask. My biggest complaint is, If they are detaining people for whatever reason, there is no excuse to separate the children from the parents. It's a ploy to scare people to not try to come. And it's a Trump idea,,no one else's. At least I hope. Trump as president, combined with a sick, disgusting republican controlled Congress, equals scum central.

@moniquestuckey-kirkham7762 That's a fact. I know the House is debating that, constantly. That's why I agreed why Pelosi, when she was standing firm against rushing into impeachment until all the evidence was thorough and the backing of the people was sufficient. Even when the newbees in the house were screaming to hurry up,, I knew their naivety was showing. But it's true, now that public voice and evidence was on their side, they show that Trump cannot just run rampant over the constitution without paying some consequences. Even if, he doesn't get thrown out early. It was no doubt it worked,,, when he let go the aid to Ukraine. That's why I agreed with Brenda Lawrence, when she said no to impeach and yes to censure. Her words were wise. But I think she finally caved when she saw she was alone in that decision.
Really sad the Republicans just playing stupid to his guilt and not even showing any agreement that Trump at least, should be reprimanded for doing what he so obviously did. I mean, come on. It's so, in your face,, it's disgusting.

@herctorgeart7921 Yes and no. It took them, like now,, right up to the end to act,,,and he wasn't as much a ,,, messiah figure head, as trump. Cause Trump is a serious loud mouth. That's why he sold the wine to the alcoholics in the people,,still don't really understand the reason the Senate and house Republicans are willing to be castrated by standing by him. With all the obvious,,,paper trail and open publicity and information, we all have, they stay, steadfast in defence|of him. I don't get.

@antdx316 thing is, big business hates this because they may be forced to dip into all those profits that they so happily boast every quarter.
Just like airlines, tourism etc luxury crap. Even hospitals and all med need. There's 0 excuse, for this lack of everything. In the world of nuclear concern? No preparation? They can blame the orange idiot all they want. The individual companies greed is the main problem. Income is soooo welcome, but the thought of having to put a lot of that profit back in, during hard times, is a nono to them. Suddenly the administrators, that rake in the big checks, don't think it's their responsibility to put some back when needed. So suddenly they want to be bailed out. Can we people that don't have money to replace a water heater in our house, without going without something else, watch a ceo, sitting on a billion dollar portfolio, ask to be bailed out by we taxpayers, cause heaven forbid they dip into some of those profit bearing millions, to keep the company whole. This is our world.

This guys a moron. His analogies are ridiculous. Biden saying, fight covid,, has nothing to do with fighting the CDC duffuss.
Face it, Hawthorne thinks he's another FDR. Sitting in his wheelchair, yelling for uprisel against a free and fair election. After dozens of court attempts and audits that proved there was no fraud. These Republicans like Hawthorne, still try to rile up the crowds to march against the outcome. Hawthorne is a public official. Not just a citizen picketing. That is the case against him. Public officials take an oath, like military men and women, like FBI, etc. In that oath,it says, they shall Not,,, use their power, as an officer of the government,,to incite violence in any manor, against that government. These guys always try to walk a fine line, when they do these little speeches. So not to be able to be accused of breaking that oath. So, now he has to lawyer up,, because he probably did step over the line. And why? Cause he's got ambitions of rolling around in the white house some day, in the capacity of president. And making a name for himself with this show,, that he's got the stuff,,, like FDR. That a wheelchair , won't stop him.

@c.rutherford I checked into his history and according to a Washington post article, his business was doing badly after he left the white house. So they did have to sell out. But it seems retirement pay of 200,000 plus a year, that's far from having to sleep in someones guest room, haha. And now after book sales and such, their worth is around 10 million. I think they bounced back. They say Bill Clinton had similar issues. But they were caused by legal bills. Buut then with speeches, book deals etc, they too are back in the black. We should all be so lucky 😊
But you are right in that, if you have plenty of bucks, you have a better shot at winning.
Of course from what I've heard. Hillary out spent trump. But whether it's so, I'm not sure.
It is sad that campaigns are so expensive. The money they all burn campaigning, is truly disgusting. Like the country couldn't find a better use for the millions they spend each, getting elected. Especially considering it's other people's money. I live in Florida, and got an email from a Dem in Pennsylvania asking for a donation. Just 5 dollars. But we get hit on 30 times a week, asking for 5 dollars. Sorry, that's an electric bill. And that's a week. It never ends. And I know the Republicans are worse. I made the mistake of answering one republican political ad. From that moment, I was a potential donor. I got begs from the Republicans too. But they ask for 250 bucks. Wow. I'm about ready to stop caring about politics. Too old for this crap.

True Hunt Seeings ole Tom isn't around to explain himself,,we probably shouldn't say how he truly felt about black people. Look at our world today. A hell of alot of us work for companies that pay only as much as they have to by law. Black or white or other. Isn't that still a bit o slavery? Lots of, " slaves', were considered as workers,,some as close to the family and maybe even friends. Look back in American history. Our country has always tried to get cheap labor. From our own people or other countries folk. Businesses have always tried to profit off the hard work of workers paid as little as possible to work as hard as they could. But like today,,many employers made their workers at home. Treated them well and probably in some cases gave them rights and help and felt compassion for them. Why do we forget American businesses now would rather pay a Chinese, or indian,or Korean, etc 20 bucks a day to produce goods than keep business here and pay a fair wage. But they don't mind keeping them big profits huh. Oh well.

@jameandthegiantpeach2273 Jame, sometimes we're the problem. But we gotta get off the sidelines, look at the facts, and choose a side.
81 million people voted for Biden, 74 million for Trump. That leaves about 40 million adults, that didn't even vote. And this was a record election. Second only to Obama McCain, in 2008.
I don't know who would have grabbed more of those 40 mill, but at least there'd be a more honest number to go by.
I get sick of hearing, especially the losers saying, " The American people", want what we're pushing, when it's nearly half or not even close to half of us that wants what they're pushing. I'm 67 now, and the first time I actually voted was for Obama. I want our government to work for the benefits of all,,the american people, but if it can't be all, then the majority. Cause we know, there'll always be someone not pleased. And right now, I see that in the Dems,or at least Joe Biden. I'm a registered Dem, but consider myself an independent. And I'd vote for either party that truly want the best for the people that need it, and proves it. I didn't vote for Trump, but thought at least he'd be presidential and do right things. But he proved he was in the republican corner, feining to Mitch McConnell's desires. And we know mcconnell s desires. It took a 2018 election to at least curb mcconnell s reign. Then Trump went into self serving mode.
Oh well, droned on enough. Bolton was a kissass until being one, didn't help him. Bottom line.

@Lydia_editz Only thing now is, we have 12 % of wealthy fucks getting big handouts because why? Sure as hell not because they work really hard. And u know it's funny, sarcastically,, they're taking as much money as probably a big percentage of poor shmucks that though they were getting aid, still lived in poverty. Yeah,,, that's much better. If you've ever worked your ass off 40, 50 hours a week doing construction, and still being at poverty level, you'll maybe understand. Because the rich fucks that got those enormous tax cuts still,,, don't pay their employees much more if any. They are cause they need a new plane or another home somewhere. Sure, there are some that take advantage. But that doesn't mean cut it, and give the money to the already wealthy.
And by the way. It was another one of your gang that screwed over the country, took billions in surplus from Clinton Era, and threw it at military contractors for the war they got us into. Then dug a giant poverty hole that Obama had to dig us out of. Nice how your side always fucks up the works, then walks off and let's dems fix it. All the while you bitch because poor people get help.

Kinda true. It's a double edge sword alright. People need to view it as,,,,, personal opinion, and then think for themselves. I think for the most part, they do. SM just gives people who've not had an outlet, a way to protest. The world has always had,,,the instigators. People trying to get others to do their biding for them. We've elected some of these people to be our representatives. They've felt like power and use it for their own benefit.

Unfortunately, so unfortunately,,, he's story worthy. Headlines sell advertising, advertising pays the bills and keeps the bank accounts booming. Thats why he gets air time. Media is a double edge sword. And the same people, Americans and other, that love shows like, The bachelor, The Kardashians, love the drama and ignorant rants of a stupid, dictator wannabe. As 70 million voters showed in 2020. It's only luck and determination of thousands of democratic groups talking about get out and vote, vote, vote, for Biden, and the 81million, proud Americans, that did vote to keep don the crumb out. May it happen again in 2022, and 2024. If we don't keep the small lead we have,,, he'll be back. His ego will not keep him down. He has to prove, he's the chosen one he thinks he is. Don't forget. Don't get complacent. Remember!

@Bryanx1964 What the hell are talking about dude? Trump practically is the swamp. Doesn't it register, even to you,, when Trump hires only shady criminal types for his team of advisors? Then suddenly they all start getting arrested!!!, for one corrupt charge after another. Man that in and of itself, should tell you something. He's an f, n racket man. Not rocket,,, racket. He's been dealing with underground peeps his whole life. All he needs is a pinstriped suit and a Tommy gun and the scene it set. The only reason he's had so many down falls is he so stupid. Now the only reason he's getting caught is cause he's so stupid. His big mouth and small brain is his own downfall. And the fact the house changed owners in '18. Right on lady. Trump is doing exactly what every one has said, the evidence and testimonies are too many to ignore. It's the job of the congress to do exactly what she is doing. She did not,,,, jump at the chance when many co condemned her for being a wimp. No one except Trump bashed her because even the Republicans knew she was taking it slow and making sure not to jump into something that was premature. No one can accuse her of that.
If Trump is not guilty of exactly what he's being accused of, he was always welcome to bring proof to the house. But no, he wants to wait till he gets to the senate, where he feels he has the majority on his side. We saw the house, he has friends there. But no , he wants the majority. He wants McConnell and his pocket puppet Graham,,to hold his hand and give him their full support,, so he can feel invincible like at a rally. Full definition of a coward.

-
@addex1236 Yeah, and if he'd have kept his ass at home playing with himself instead of going out of his way to grab his friend's dads gun, go to a protest,,, NOONE,, would have been killed. Out of all the protesting going on,,,his was the only one that ended in killing. What he did was pure baiting. If he'd have gone there with just intentions of being a voice of anti protesters,, that would have been just fine and once again no one would have died. But no, he took his ego and a weapon meant specifically to kill and used it as a lever to create manhood, which he's definitely not. If he's got so much testosterone to fight for his country, join the military, or enroll in the police academy.
1
-
@aidk23 What I mean by, " technicalities", is, rifle barrel length, his age. They based his whole defense on that and the self defense wording. The facts of his intent, bringing a lethal weapon, to a basically understandable protest, didn't even matter.
My whole argument is, he had a choice. Go and be a simple anti protester, or go there looking for trouble. His choice was wrong. He instilled the happening. I guess we can't say what the motives were of the dead people ,, can we? And it seems poor little Kyle can say whatever he wants, cause some how, with all those horrible killer protesters out there, little Kyle has no sign of injuries. We'll see what happens in the other case where three other armed men, are also calling self defense. Guess you're all rooting for them too.
1
-
@jasonblaha6169 ?. I'm a 68 year old Vietnam vet. We despise punks like him. His,, attitude and what he did has,, nothing,,,to do with defending. I knew people like him. I say knew,,,cause most of them don't, anymore.
Rittenhouse is exactly the type of person gun laws are made for, and are more needed.
1
-
@joelellis7035 First off, I'm not, showboating,, anything I know, anymore than u just have with your speech. All I know is, he went there with intent, and started the ball rolling. He protected nothing, because he was the only one shooting. Yeah, he was in total control of the gun. I saw people killed who weren't armed either. Just because someone said, I was protecting myself. Sure, that was different, war and all. But it doesn't change the happening. Thing is, we faught so we here don't have to live in the wild west. Where everyone settles everything with a quick draw. If that crowd was so horrific, the cops should have been there. Not a bunch of 17 year old wannabes.

-
@joelellis7035 Sorry, but I watched about half, of the fastest talking man on the planet, and the just, if what he is saying, has no bearing on my feelings.
Where did you get any idea, that i thought this a political shooting? As for being a white supremacists, I never said anything to that either. Though maybe there's something to it, because it was a protest of yet another unarmed black person shooting by police. Hmm, say anything to you?
Anyway, my whole point is, him being totally exempt, from ANY,,, responsibility, for his actions, is horrific, and will set a precedent for other wack gun balls idiots, that it's fine to take the law,,into their own hands. Period.
But as u can see, who are the people placing Rittenhouse on a pedestal? Right wing politicains and talk hosts. So, smart guy,,, maybe ur wrong for a change about something.

@aidk23 Thanks, but I was drafted. But I did my duty to my country, reg army or not. Afterwards thinking, every man should do a few years. Because fresh out of highschool, we don't have any idea of honor to much of anything, or the true realistic fact of what war is like, and that jumping in to a situation with both feet,( Kyle Rittenhouse), can do.
Look what's happened already since. He's already becoming a right wing hero. I'm not a hero for shooting anyone i had to confront in a fight, and putting him up as one because he got off scott free, is disgusting.
1
-
@joelellis7035 Man, do you even see your comments and don't think they sound sadistic?
If Rittenhouse would have been serious about just being an anti protester and not shooting anyone, he would have been unarmed. How the hell did he think police weren't there protecting the innocent? He didn't give a crap. Common sense is a huge factor of being a responsible gun owner. Hunting rifle or not.
All your long, drawn out explanations about codes and legal regs for charging people for a crime, do nothing to explain the reason to why he just had to bring a damn assault rifle to a protest. Sounds like u envy ole Kyle. Going to action against those damned people out protesting. And no. I don't agree with violent protests, but I'll tell you. Just like with the school, or church or other nutbag shootings of innocent people. And nobody doing anything to curb gun ownership by nuts and over zealous police, pulling their guns at anything that suits them,,, violent protests seem to be the only thing that gets people's attention. But it still doesn't work. The NRA and gun sales by everyone that thinks, any minute I'll be blowing away some thug in my house or maybe a waiter at a restaurant that brings my soup late. That's what gun laws are supposed to protect against.
What he maybe should have brought to the protest was his cell phone. Then when he saw someone doing something bad, he calls the cops, or shoots a video of them doing wrong. But no,,,he wanted to be a tuff guy.
Maybe the bunch of us that see the wrong in the verdict, aren't because we are leftists, or legal scholars. But just people seeing the coming of the demise of democracy. By people taking the law into their own hands at every turn. His interview with fox clown, silver spoon Tucker C. , Showed me, he feels totally exonerated of any responsibility for what he did. Sure he said, if I had it to do again, I wouldn't have taken the gun, or gone. What else are you going to say. Ridiculous. He'll be running for a house seat in a few years. Crazy.
1
-
@aidk23 The moment he grabbed the rifle and took it to the event, he was taking the law into his hands. Hundreds of anti protesters were there, to Speak their opinion to the protesters. How many of them whipped out their assault rifles and waved them in offensive manors? 0,,, I believe. If you want our country to become the old wild west again, just keep defending people like Rittenhouse. Where every road rage incident turns into a shootout. All claiming self defense. I'm 68 years old, never owned a personal firearm. I've lived in mid to lower income neighborhoods, still do. We've had some protests, especially after the George Floyd happening. The police handled them, as needed. No reason for vigilante law. Thats exactly what Rittenhouse was. His story doesn't jive enough, but my bottom line is, if anyone didn't belong there, it was him. Just listen to his performance with dirt bag Carlson. Couldn't stomach more than 5 minutes. But he thought he was Rambo , my opinion still. If he wants action, join the military. When hes old enough, become a cop. Don't play hero, when your not.
PS, Your very correct about the right to defend yourself. But you don't have the right to create the scenario, then say, I was just defending myself.

Dillon Brunschon We can never believe anything he says. We got the report that many of the people at the party were infected. The next morning,a Trump went on his own or doc request,we can't tell which, with wifey, to to the hospital, cause he felt a bit bad, then was diagnosed with the virus. Anyone else that's come down with it,that are older, ended up in bed at the hospital. He goes out the next day, waving to the crowd. Who knows how truly sick he was? Listen to the doc.
I was told,,, he's on this and that. Can't say if he was on oxygen or not. What kind of explanation is that. His doc's are made to sign a paper, saying, they won't say anything he doesn't approve of. How do we know he was sick with virus or anything else. He lies so much, anything is possible.

Come on! The sob, ran into the white house and jumped on the TV to watch the insurrection. Then sat for the whole time not condemning it or trying to stop it. He gleefully sat, like a vampire, gourging on a new neck,, feeding on the faith these idiot killers, were doing for him. That in and of itself, is in my opinion, impeachable, or worse. He talked forever about, traitorous acts the Dems are performing, when it's himself, that is a traitor to his oath, and the country.

Hell, there's no doubt in my mind that Trump knows and knew everything and what was involved in everything,,,my question is, are Cohen and Trump on the phone,in person or what? And why does Trump yell out,,get me a coke,, which also shows Trump's personality. No please, nothing. Like a jerk boss, telling a flunky to do something. Bottom line,, Trump knew about everything. He's an f,n liar, and a sleeze.
1
-
To be fair. Trump said, go back to your country, fix their issues and problems, then come back and show us how it's done.
He was basically saying, you're putting down our ability to run our country, when the country of your family background is such a mess. The Media and others are,,, pulling words out of context a bit on this one. At least from the speech or tweet or whatever, I heard. And trust me,, I don't,,, at all,,, support Trump. He honestly has plenty of crap he has said for sure,, to be pissed about. On this point though, I have to be fair. As decent people, we can do no less.

@being4668 Man, you are the worlds biggest cynic. Not that you're not totally wrong about people being flakes sometimes. That's just human. Having a choice means, having some flaws. In judgement, decisions, thoughts. That's mankind. That's why you have a democracy though and not a dictatorship. That idea was created when the US was . So there would be conversation about every decision. Not one person with all the say. Yeah, it's not perfect. Why? Money what monarch, has ever lived a mediocre lifestyle? Look at Putin even. He acts like he's mr average joe. But has every luxury imaginable. He lives like every , rich, decadent, American, he says he hates. Goes on, acting like we're all pampered pets here in America. He's just another crooked , greedy for power and money gov official, who started out in some gov office and seeing himself as the top guy. And by using the sneaky ways of a killer, has kept himself in power. Because there's always some others who can be paid, to do the dirty work. Once again,,, human. But not good human. That's why you have advisors. Other human, with their own skills and educations.
Not all government people are crooked. Not all civilians are gullible, and lazy like u said. Those are the ones going to stand up to the tyrant types, and hopefully we'll get through this crap going on in the world stage. And maybe, all your cynicism will be for naught.

@arbynChief617 The two they chose were used because they were more specific. Listen more to the impeachment proceedings and less to the Republicans yelling crazy gibberish to interrupt the process. Maybe you'll learn something, if you choose to. Learn that is.
Why do you think the Republicans don't want any real witnesses? Hell, Graham says he's going to bring a magazine to read. Probably a wish book for all the nice little bobbles, Trump has promised to buy him if he's a good little candy ass.
Anyway, it's pretty obvious to more than 55% of Americans. Trump did something wrong. You my friend are in a minority. A minority of blind, whatever Trump says,, believers. True or not. Listen to the evidence and just see it comes from people, on the Trump government parole, not liberal Trump haters as you've been told. They told the truth, under oath, with risk of imprisonment if they lied. Life time government employees. Their jobs and oath to the USA mean everything to them. Think about it.

@johngabrielperez wow! And u say I'm freakin.
Seems Republicans have short memories. Can we say, Kavanaugh. Let's talk about pushing something thru. And Mccarthy and his little speech about that we shouldn't impeach a president in his first term. Yeah, that's true smart and legal thinking. Oh and the fact that old McConnell, put some bullshit point out that Obama wasn't allowed to place a judge, when he only had 11 months left in office. There are several dozen bullshit examples of the freaked out, lying, crap fed, Republicans abusing their power. Don't give us your lopsided right wing bologna about how honorable the Republicans are. It's all bull.
And your little, I guess that was supposed to be a scream, at the end of your rant, that I or anyone would do if rump get another term,,, as u said about the Republicans in the house screaming,, we'd be justified. 65% of America knows Trump is a detriment to the constitution of the United States. Trump only won in '16, by slithering into the white house under guise of the paid off electoral college. He's less popular now. You can frame your Maga, made in China, gear, next November. Or sleep with it, or burn it for all I care. I seriously doubt Trump will have rallies after he s no longer president.
You made 0,valid points as to Rumps innocence. So my guess is you're just spouting the same bull the Republicans make for all their hours.

@johngabrielperez Ya know, we could lose in 2020. But not just dems. We as in we the people.
The Republicans in the house and senate play this as,,, revenge,, pay back for being duped in '16, whatever. Hopefully that's not true for supposedly intelligent, well paid adults in the house and senate on the dems side. We'll never know, because just as the Republicans seem to be glued to trumps extra long coattails, and sit there and deny any of the evidence,, the democrats seem to pleasure in the fact that all must be sincere and factual.
Here's my take of Trump from the beginning.
I never watched the TV show they did with him, but he's always seemed pompous and overbearing. No doubt his rich boy lifestyle. When he ran like most, it seemed a thing like most people who run for pres, so no big deal. Then he was the nominee. Oh well, no big deal, he ran on being unique and different than any other politician, so I figured, still if he gets in, we'll see. Give him a chance.
Then the debates. He was pompous, arrogant, very crude and treated Hillary like dirt. And he lied about some things and dismissed other important issues like, oh well, I'm Trump and that's the way it is. Yet the Republicans in the hearings talk about decorum? Where was his? Where is his now?
First rub
Then the election and I don't know whether the electoral college is a good thing or not. But seems to me in an election,, popular vote wins. Sure, many were depressed a bit that Hillary won but because of the EC, she didn't.
Okay he s in now, let's see that unique non politician at work.
The first f, n thing he does is exactly what every other republican president has done,, give those millions in tax breaks to the wealthy. What do you know,, he's a politician. Lie # whatever.
Healthcare, better than anything Obama dreamed of. 0. Lie # whatever. Then the wall. Was NOT supposed to affect us cause Mexico was gonna knuckle under to the deal maker, 0, lie # whatever. The list grows but work awaits.
You can brag about a soaring economy and low unemployment. But do me a favor. Check out three or four articles about the economy thru Obama till now. Not after Obama, thru out. Then brag, because it's not a hell of a lot different, and, not as good as Trump promised,, lie # whatever.
And that's on top of being the most disgusting president,, ever. That one he does win, hands down.

There's always deals that have to be fulfilled before they'll accept something, even if temporary. Why can't they get a partial deal now, because many need help,NOW, not a month from now. Then work out arrangements for talks about other financial aid in a month or so. Many need help right now. It was stupid to give the 600 a week out to people earning 400 a week, if they don't put the excess away for a rainy day. If the bank was gonna run outta money at the time when the 600 stopped coming. Now, all those people that were getting 600 a week when they used to earn 400 a week, have blown through it , thinking, yahoo! Extra money to have fun with.
Also, the 1200 one time, should never have gone out to people who didn't need it. They just shoved it in their banks or bought a boat or whatever, when it was meant for hardship money, not splurge or savings boost funds. My son makes almost 80 thou a year, and has three kids. So not only did he get 2400 for his wife and himself, but 1500 for the kids. Where a poor family could truly have used that money just to survive. But it was given to a family doing just fine. Ridiculous. And we wonder why our deficit is so damn high.

@michaelgl8516 The thing is Ruth, things like this go on thruout the world. Look at Afghanistan. Iraq. Everywhere we've stuck our nose in, so to speak, what has happened? There has been thousands of soldiers and civilians killed and the events still go on. Viet Nam, Korea. Africa. How many places have we, stuck our noses in. And the mess stays the same? Unless there is a complete annihilation of bad people, governments, whatever. The cancer comes back. Russia has been an ongoing battle for decades. Some things you just can't fix by more war. Yes, something needs to be done. But just like when we have our personal problems here, that cause deaths and destruction. We don't ask other countries to come and fight our battles. We help as we can without adding to the destruction. I'll guarantee you, if we went in, guns blazing, it would start ww3. And you and I, your kids and grandkids may very well be nothing more than statistics. Right along with every Ukrainian. Ww3, won't be an ongoing back and forth. It'll be the apocalypse. Or close to it.
Zelenskyy talks from the spirit of an actor. Speeches are fine. Reality is another thing. He just wants to win, just like Putin. Which is maybe how all this started. Both leaders being tuff guys. Then the people pay the price.
Anyway Ruth, I agree it seems more could be done to help Ukraine and her people. But it has to be considered, every step.
Nobody is turning their heads and ignoring it at all.
1
-
@michaelgl8516 I agree Ruth that Ukraine deserves to be a free government, if they wish. But since WW2, governments have made and signed agreements. We the people obviously aren't privy to every detail of. Or choose to check into. America cannot be responsible for policing every other country when they have internal issues.
Like I said, we don't know all the reasons this situation escalated to it's present state. At least I don't, do you? I do know it's been simmering for years before now. I know too that before Zelenskyy, were other leaders, more in tune with Putin s ideals and maybe that's the problem.
All I can say is, no-one is turning their heads and ignoring this. It's being dealt with daily. We, " the US", can legally only do so much. The Russian people have some say in this. As it grows, sentiment in Russia will move towards stopping it somehow. Hopefully. Aid is flowing in from everywhere. Help with weapons, and supplies are constant.
And yes we can compare Ukraine to Afghanistan or the other countries we have been in. Those people are just as human as the Ukraine people. They desired freedom to choose their own government and lifestyle too. But sometimes in country traditions win out. And the standards stick. We're not the perfect example of perfect society, so we just don't have the right to put ourselves over the rights of other societies to be what they've been for centuries. This is why treaties and pacts are made between different countries. We have to abide by those pacts too.
It's terrible what the citizens of Ukraine are having to live through. Just as for other countries that live in a dictatorship. But sometimes you have to watch from your border, help where you can to minimize strife. And hope in this case, the Russian people will do the right thing. Make him stop. He knows he can't win, at least whole heartedly. But we can't make the Russian people do what they won't do. No more than other countries telling us who we should elect or dump. We're all people of the world, true. But until every country signs some agreement to listen to us or someone else, every time there are conflicting views. We have to do what we're doing.
1
-
1
-
@michaelgl8516 Ruth, I do agree Ukraine is a country, state, that wants democracy. You say, Afghan people don't seem to want democracy, enough to fight for it. And once again, I don't know any Afghan people. Nor do I know why they don't seem to want to stand up to extremists like the Taliban. But once again, that doesn't make them expendable either. Yet we were there for 20 years trying to train and give them incentive. Maybe it's religious reasoning, maybe something else.
But it's things like Vietnam , Korea, and others, that show us using every diplomatic way to stop tyranny before reverting to killing yet more people, is more civilized. Seems all war does is reduce population to the point that there's no one left to fight.
You also say the Russian people won't do what is necessary. That's what happens in an authoritarian government. Propaganda keeps the people from knowing the truth. Daddy says, Ukraine bad. Must be true. Daddy don't lie.
Thats why everyone is working to educate the Russian people. With our own propaganda, haha. Do we ever really know the.. truth? Do we know for fact... Ukraine is telling the whole truth and nothing but? Do the Ukrainian people fight and die for the truth? I've heard Ukraine was a very crooked state or country. Whatever it is. There are so many different answers. But obviously murdering thousands of people, is contemptuous at best. And it should stop.

@marcilk7534 Sure, but when people run it into the ground, that's not always funny to the person that makes the error and is making a serious point. Some people feel truly offended, when they see someone they highly respect, get trounced. And they speak out, defending that person. Then seeing their action made fun of without any compassion,, it could hurt them. When all they were doing, was defending someone they consider honorable.
I made many mistakes in Grammer and spelling,,, still do. Once someone corrected me. It hurt for a while, but made me start proof reading. But still,,, can hurt.

I totally agree that trump's behavior is making Bidens job much harder. But we should understand that the right, uses that same excuse to trumps ability to get things done, because of all the constant attack from the House, in regards to impeachment after impeachment. I'm a democrat, but I try to see it from both sides. There's no doubt trump was a terrible president as well as a terrible human being, for most part. But he did want to make improvements in things like health care and maybe even America's standing in the world marketplace. He did want to create a healthcare plan, in his eyes, better than Obamacare. But McConnell never worked on anything. He also thought, being civil, with our enemies, Russia, North Korea. Was a good thing, which it is, if they accept it, which they don't.
The main problem with trump, beyond his horrible upbringing, is his greed, ego and ignorance.

This is f, n ridiculous. She's scared she's gonna lose reelection. What is wrong if Robert's has to be a tie breaker? He has a job to do just like her. Do your job and be honest and allow witnesses. They've proven if the house had gone to court over the more of the witnesses in the house preliminary. Bring in Biden, call their bluff. They don't want any witnesses, none. They want it over so Trump can crow in the state of the union. And if any, witnesses are called it'll pull this out. DAMN U REPUBLICANS,! 75% of the public want a proper trial. Your constituents. People who elected you. The majority want witnesses. You're lying if you say you're doing this for the people. You're doing it for one idiot,,,,, rump.

@Bright Flash I agree the democrats acted similarly, to a degree,, as with this now, standing up for their own. But firstly, in my opinion that whole mess was rigged. The Republicans had it in for him his whole time in. They couldn't wait to get something on him. And isn't it strange how Starr was so, so determined to hang him, but now, a true proven con man, lying slug gets caught red handed doing a totally illegal act and according to all the same people that wanted to crucify Clinton, are trying so hard to prove rump an angel.
Personally I think Monica was a plant. Knowing Clinton was an easy mark for a little extramarital sex. I can't remember who spilled the beans, probably her. I'll find out. But anyway, if you compare that to what rump did,, well then you're a Trump lover and what you say is as bias as any of these that don't want witnesses.
Fact is, he got caught, but being a billionaire and as crooked as hell, he'll get off. Just as he's done his whole life. Paid his way outta everything.
1
-
@Bright Flash I can't find your latest comment to reply to, but did read it. And it mimicked every talking point the glorious white house lawyers hocked up. Bottom line is rump got caught, fact. And they're hiding every bit of testimony and witness to protect him. All that bullshit, as said by our past legal witch Pam Bondi "said, pretty shiny distractions ", is just that.
Be real. Trumps been a slug, grift, con man, his whole adulterer life. He's proud of it. He's never gonna stop, president or not. His whole family is busy makin gobs of money strictly because he's in the white house. Don't give us the crap about Biden. All of that has been debunked by the state department because they investigated and found nothing. Plus, if rump was soooo, determined to fight crime, why did he wait till Biden was whopping his ass in the polls?
The senate trial was just as 75% of the American people say, a joke. They used bullshit, to stop any witnesses or paper information.
This is all gonna prove true very soon. But as long as Teflon orange gets off right now, that's all he and obviously you Trump lovers care about.
You'll be cheering at the rallies, for a thug wannabe the paid his way outta jail again. He isnt the first crook to pay the jury off and won't be the last. History is full of rumps, by any other names, smell.

What the hell is with this crap with partisan, non partisan bull. Trump did something wrong that was pointed out by a whistle blower. Reported properly and brought to the attention of a superior that agreed. The house majority investigated thoroughly and for a long time, making sure the accusations were reasonable and proper. The Republicans stood blindly together, no matter what the evidence and many perfectly honorable TRUMP,, appointed professionals testified too. The Republicans made it partisan. So stop this shit that it's all partisan and both sides are guilty of being partisan. The Republicans are just denying everything,,, that's for sure partisan,, the democrats have to have it partisan because of the Republicans, period.

How is Putin saying he's sending in peace keeping raids, when he's the one causing the battle. How do his, " advisors", not say no to this. It's so obvious that he's the attacker, not the peacekeeper. He saw how the Taliban claimed Afghanistan by shear military type force, after 20 years of trying to make Afghanistan a democracy, like Ukraine is trying to be. Putin has never agreed to Ukraine being a separate state, and it seems he's finally saying, just a couple of years before he's supposed to give power to another president. Yeah, he's a real good role model for djt, as to how to rule a country. Just like trump said the day of the 6th. You can't rule by being soft. Ya gotta be strong. And then again just now. Putin's being so savy. Using the military against his own people.
Strange how trumps fine with military use against people he doesn't like, but the Jan 6 th attackers deserve to go free because they were attacking in his name. So no military use against them, when his civilian soldiers, attacked the capital.

@facesofj4705 I'm assuming by a flat earther,,, as I've heard several Republicans, in comments, I may as well say Trumper s, you mean I see things only as I see them, and not believe a scientist, or scholar, or anyone that theorized it wasn't,,,,? Maybe so.
But that has no bearing on my feelings about Barr.
If his label,, thanks to Trump,,, means so much to you,, you can call him that. I'm no Bible thumper either. But I know a false God when I see one. Just as I know an asshole, in human form like Trump and Barr.
I didn't hate Trump, or Barr, when Trump became president. And I don't know him personally, so I can't say I'd hate him personally,, or not. But, I do hate, lots about him as a person by his deeds. Not every single one,, but I'd probably say most.
He appointed Barr, because he wanted a yes man in that position. The legal duty of Barr is to the country. Not to Donald J thug. I'm numb to the responses of blind Trump lovers. I'm assuming that's you? If I'm wrong, I apologize, but doubt it. Anyone that stands up for a,, false human,, like Trump doesn't have self respect, therefore not mine.
Barr is an intelligent thug. But a thug nevertheless. All the shit of them will come out down the road. Maybe sooner than later. Maybe then all the blind trumpists will eat some crow,, but I doubt that too.
Good grief man, maybe Obama wasn't perfect. But he wasn't a thug. And,, he could have done better easier, if the f, n Republican storm troopers, like mitch McConnell, did to make his whole 8 years a hell.
How can you believe someone like L. Graham, that all the while Clinton was being broiled by those f, n sobs, they quoted their bullshit. Now that their boy is in the hotseat, every syllable out of their mouth is the complete opposite. That stuff is documented, my friend. Etched on tape for the world to hear and see.
The position of honor as the attorney General of the USA is meant for an unbiased, apolitical individual. He is, not that.

Exactly folks. If you think pence is not still suckling the teet of djt, think again. If you don't think they sit and plan these little ,,,skits. Think again. How many times have we seen the Republicans, Lindsey graham, etc, curse djt one second and the next playing golf with him and dining at Mar Lago? Many. There may not be any, Honor amongst thieves. But there definitely is dirty dealings. And I wouldn't trust what pence says, if he was dipped in truth serum, hypnotized, hand on the bible.

Big deal. He sat on trump's right arm right to the end. Suddenly this few,. "conservative", sobs, decide, oh no, he's gone too far. Like who's fault is that? Theirs, that's who. They stood behind him, sheilded him, voted to let him do whatever the hell he wanted. Knowing damn well the kind of slug he was. They don't deserve reelection just because the suddenly speak up. He sits there and suddenly says,. "I'm of cuban descent, and we saw what a power hungry government can do to it's people. But he sat for 4 years and said nothing. Nothing, while it was obvious, this is what it was leading up to. These people will say, Anything,,,to get elected. Or want to save face.

This is exactly right. But according to rumps lawyer,,,,there is no real evidence to prove he has any responsibility.
And remember, trump told his army, go to,,,,,,,the capital, I'll be there with you? Where was he? Sitting in the white house watching it all on TV.

You know,, I appreciate kinzinger and Chaney coming out to basically denounce trump and put him in his place. But these same people allowed and molded Trump into the power mad nutso,,he was. But he was in line to do this for 4 f,n years,, and now finally when he's on the out, these same enablers are dissing him. Suddenly coming out after he's done his worse, is too little too late. They don't impress me. And as much as I am glad they finally,, found their voice,,,that if they're serious,,,they would have helped long ago. But at that time, they were worried about their own jobs as well.

Yes but why? He's already said about three weeks ago, that he is probably going to run against Trump in 2020. But according to records he's voted with Trump on all most everything. It's the rat leaving the sinking ship, syndrome. Problem is, u can't trust him. He's still for Kavanaugh,,, though said all of Trump's picks for White House have obviously corrupt. But he's all for Kavanaugh. It's sooo obvious Kavanaugh has skeletons. There are hundreds of honest, fair judge's that they could put up,,,but a guy that s like him with his weird issues? Why?

@moniquestuckey-kirkham7762 I'm not any kind of legal eagle or even very school smart. But just paying attention to persons with actual knowledge, shows me my instincts are right.
Your so right that the testimonies are by unbiased fact, and not just hatred of unowho.
The evidence is so overwhelming, in a normal world, the house has plenty to show wrongdoing. Whether it's called quidproqou, bribery, tit for tat, trade, etc, whatever,, He tried to get something in return for the aid. And that something was, dirt on an opponent in an upcoming election. That's illegal, unlawful, unethical. And probably other un, s I don't know.
The Republicans are not doing their sworn duties.
We can only hope the chief justice, does.

Psychopaths don't show emotions. They shift the blame acting like nothing bothers them. Quietly simmering until the shit hits the fan. Trump is being told to be cool and the dems will burn their own bridges,, they think. They are betting on the dems impeaching him, thinking it will strengthen the base and he can play the martyr. I guess. It's some kind of crazy strategy that they think made B Clinton, stronger. I don't see it. Trump is full of crap anyway. He wouldn't work with the dems anyhow. Not unless they kissed his ass with concessions, if he offers to do what they'd like. Whether he is being investigated or not. He's so full of crap, it's a miracle his eyes aren't brown. Hey,,, anybody catching the hair color as late? He's trying to look mature now. Amazing it's not gray. To show,,, look,, I've worked so hard my naturally reddish orange hair, is getting white. Remember Obama and other presidents? Went in with normal hair color,, come out gray.
Trumps an ass. Plain and simple.

He should be condemning Putin and the spy's on TV, cutting trade or something,,to show really, that we we won't stand for shit like this. But he likes the power that Putin has and would love it if he could have the same.

Trump's presidency should be nullified. He is so immorally unfit to be a president it's pitiful. This is not a presidency, it's a gang takeover. First he becomes president,, okay, he won, despite questionable methods. But then he starts creating a gang, of basically, crooks, as his so called, cabinet. And now with Barr as the appointed AG,, he's getting criminals off after being convicted, and just changing all the laws, to make what he does, legal. This is a circus.

@stephendye672 There's a beginning to a criticism, and it was him. Plus, a truly supposed negotiator, knows how to lower the heat in a crisis. So what happened to the great negotiator? He never tries to turn down the heat, he ALWAYS, exacerbates the the situation by fanning the flames. That's certainly not the sign of a great negotiator,,, that he claims to be. In his words, he started it.
His whole base gives him the benefit of the doubt, and he doesn't even live up to their expectations. They are either to stupid to see it or just don't care.
How many examples of him starting a fight do you need. Even when all the people around him praise him, and you'd think he'd be calm cool and collected, he strikes out at someone.
So please don't give us the,, poor, put upon President, routine. You know that saying, " You made your bed, now lay in it"? That's who you're standing up for.

@stephendye672 Kinda like the American people are supposed to, " get over", Mr crook inviting a foreign government to interfere with Our, elections elections?
How quickly are you going to,, get over it,, when Trump starts hearings of crimes in NYC after he is voted out in 2020?
As for getting over,, the 2016 crooked win,,, I was over that, not to long after. This is not about the election of 2016 that your draft dodger keeps harping on, this is about all the things he's done since. I wonder how long it'll take for, the draft dodger to, get over it,, when he's in prison playing cards with his buddies, Cohen, Manafort and Stone. Isn't it funny, such an honest man as dump, associating with criminals like them? Just makes me wonder why people like u, honor and vote for a man like that.
I'll bet if Charles Manson ran for president and talked like Trump, you'd vote for him too. Sicko.

@PassdeDutchie When you look at the Epstein lifestyle and the Trump lifestyle, it's kinda typical of super rich. They constantly have a stream of young women around them. Epstein was one of the providers, I'm assuming . And as long as you have men with endless bank accounts, old or young, these women, seems mostly women from poor Ukrainian type environments and girls here looking to be superstar models and actresses, u have the supply. Smart or not, the lure of a career making big bucks can make people do,,, anything. Morales be damned.
Epstein could have told a lot. A LOT. And on both sides of the political spectrum it seems.
Personally, I'll bet he's still alive. Stored alway by huge money, to protect many high ranking folk. And if he is truly dead. It was no suicide
As for Ivanka and Epstein,,,he didn't need her. Plus being a daughter of a potential client,,, doubtful. Now Trump and Ivanka? Worse things have happened inside families.

This is so f,n ridiculous. They get the money appropriated, hand millions to who? Big business, who we're not sure if they use it properly, because there's 0 oversight. They hand out the one time payments and some other money's. Then with 400 million left, still appropriated, they do some wheeling and dealing and say,,,,thst money went back into the treasury,,,right. The way these people take our tax dollars, and move them wherever they want,,,, I wouldn't trust Rump and his cronies,,at all.

@geraldinekutchner1797 No Geraldine, they're not. They're just trying to give the right up to, the mother, or woman. To have the final say, without being stamped on the forehead, a murderer. Not the government. Think about it Geraldine. The Republicans constantly say, less government. Yet they're the ones wanting the final say.
Noone likes abortion. The Democrat's just want the right to be left to the people it's happening too. The pregnant women, and her doctor. And even there, it's her that has the final say, not the government.
Women have had abortions throughout history, more than likely. Probably none of them are happy about it. Think deeply about it. If it was your daughter, who got raped. If she got pregnant at 13. No one likes it. But it may be best in the long run when caught early. The alternative is worse. Sterilize women? Then who s gonna have the say so, about that? No one loves it. But who has the right to tell someone else? It will happen. Whether safe, in a clinic or hospital. Or in someone's home, on the toilet. It's a desperate call for some.

@dragonfly3816 I told you, I don't condone the destruction of personal property , city property, anything of the like. And those people should be dealt with accordingly ad well. Most people, even most protestors don't condone it. But that is up to the constituted legal system to deal with. Not vigilante law.
But coming from the BLM side of it. What the hell happens when there are non violent, totally peaceful protests? NOTHING. Look what happens when highschool kids protest peacefully about shooters coming in to schools with assault rifles, semi automatic pistols, smoke bombs etc, and kill, kids. Nothing. The gun companies and the NRA do nothing to curb the bubble gum Despenser gun toss to anyone with the cash. As much killer ammo as they can buy. Extended round magazines, sold at gun shows. As a mater of fact, didint Rittenhouse have to go to his friends house to even get the weapon? I don't think it's his. Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't matter. He took it instead of a camera, where he could have truly been a hero and taken pictures of the exact people actually commiting the damages. But no. He wanted to play storm trooper and threaten people into submission at the point of the AR-15. And 2 people were killed. Killed by an immature Rambo wannabe.
1
-
@dragonfly3816 If tuff guy Kyle, hadn't had the weapon. He wouldn't have had gun balls, and would have never confronted anyone. And these ridiculous names they gave these people, is disgusting. They're making a stupid game, out of killings. And you , graciously going along with it, by repeating them, show u have 0 compassion for someone getting killed. And not just shot. Shot with jacketed ammunition. Which doesn't stop when it hits something it goes bouncing around. Possibly hitting someone else. But I guess in your eyes, that's too cool. Wish you were there, yelling, Go Kyle go. You the man.
All he had to do was go there. Take a cell phone, call the cops to the area he saw bad stuff, and then he'd have been a good citizen. He instigated the situation, then when people responded to his actions, he shot them. And he felt like a big man. He's not, he's a punk wannabe
1
-
@dragonfly3816 Right, I don't remember my boy scout group leader promoting ,see a protest, grab your assault rifle and head on over.
And I watched some of the trial. And no matter the outcome, because of the way the judge was behaving and the points they used to make him seem like a regular public spirited boyscout,ur words,,,My point as well as millions of others was, why did he just have to bring a weapon,,,and not just a simple pistol,,,a rifle created for military use with,,,rounds meant for deadly force. He's a 17 year old kid, with no real safty weapon training, wanting to play man.
So, all the back and forth of the judge making light of the prosecution's points and not accepting some of the evidence because of technical reasons, the jury had to go by the legal aspects and not the common sense of his actions. You people and your constant craming the, your smothered by media influence,,,is getting old.
I based my judgement on the part's of the trial I did see,and the common question. Why did he take the weapon there, were all the attacks on him, because he had it and used it as a threatening shield?
Bottom line, if he hadn't had it, probably no one would have been killed and he wouldn't have been attacked at all.

@porscheman998 You're goofy! How are Dems being hypocritical? They're the ones who got shafted then and pretty much at risk of getting shafted again. The Senate has belonged to the Republicans since,,,,,,hell,, I'll have to look it up. But they were in power all thru obama's terms. And stood on his neck the whole time. Typical dictatorial behavior,,by the way.
Where you get off calling how the Dems are now hypocritical is ridiculous.
1
-
@porscheman998 Of course they are . Mcconnell and Graham and several other Republicans made a precedence in 2016 that the American people have the right to have a say in the sitting of a new justice. So they said Obama had no say who the new justice would be in 2016 because he only had 11 months left in his term. Suddenly Trump, with only 50 or so,,,Days,,,in office, he has the right? I don't think so jack.
Mcconnell wants it both ways. Obama,no pick, with 11 months to go,,, almost a year. But Trump with 45 days, has every right to pick? Yeah,,,real close comparison. NOT!
1
-
1
-
@porscheman998 It's not hypocrisy,,, it's tit for tat. You stood in our way and created a precedence. But now you want a switch back, cause it's in your favor. Most gov leader's pray on most Americans forgetting what they said years prior. Then when things suit them, they can do the opposite and say,,,you don't like it,,,prove it.

@porscheman998 Supreme Court vacancy in 2016 and today
BY JUSTINE COLEMANTWEET SHARE EMAIL
Fox News's Chris Wallace pressed Sen. Tom Cotton on Sunday on whether there is "any hypocrisy" between the Arkansas Republican's 2016 comments to avoid a Supreme Court justice confirmation ahead of an election and his current call to "move forward without delay."
Cotton told "Fox News Sunday" that the GOP-led Senate has a "mandate to perform our constitutional duty" and fill the Supreme Court vacancy after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death on Friday.
Wallace then replayed Cotton's remarks on the Senate floor in 2016 in which the Arkansas senator asked, "Why would we squelch the voice of the people? Why would we deny the voters a chance to weigh in on the makeup of the Supreme Court?"
The senator made the comments after Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died in February 2016 and then-President Obama nominated Merrick Garland nine months before the presidential election.
"You don't see any hypocrisy between that position then and this position now?" Wallace asked.
"Chris, the Senate majority is performing our constitutional duty and fulfilling the mandate that the voters gave us in 2016 and especially in 2018," he said, referring to the midterm elections after Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings.
Wallace also asked Cotton if he would "still think it would be proper" for the Senate to confirm President Trump's nominee to the court if the 2020 election resulted in a new president and a Democratic majority in the upper chamber.
"Chris, as I said, we are going to move forward without delay, and there will be a vote on this nominee," the senator said.
"But, to the point, Donald Trump's gonna win reelection, and I believe the Senate Republicans will win our majority back because the American people know that Donald Trump is going to put nominees up for the federal courts who will apply the law, not make the law," he added.
Ginsburg's death has sparked an intense partisan debate on whether Trump should move forward with nominating her replacement with Election Day 44 days away.
The Supreme Court announced that Ginsburg died of complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer Friday night.
Trump has said he expects to nominate a woman to replace Ginsburg, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has vowed to give Trump's appointee a vote on the floor, despite blocking Garland's confirmation vote in 2016.
Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), who spoke on "Fox News Sunday" after Cotton, argued that the election has already begun this year as many Americans participate in mail-in voting and early voting during the coronavirus pandemic.

In all fairness, the videos were taken by the supposed gang. So it was protestors that took the videos. Showing the lawyer with whatelse, his AR-15. A questionable weapon for the average homeowner. Looked to me like they had a short little cast iron fence maybe 4 ft high and the sidewalk boardered their yard.
I agree, if the protestors came up to his house or into his yard, he had the right to tell them to not do so, then, if they get confrontational show your weapon . But unless they came at him, he's not supposed to actually point his weapon at anyone. Noone knew his exact intentiions either. He could be hyper and shot someone just by mistake. Where was his footage? Why didn't wifey pull out her phone or a camera, instead of a pistol?
We hitched a ride one day, year's ago with a guy. He had a pistol within hands reach. We just wanted a ride ,no intention of anything I never would have. But we saw the gun. But who knows,, maybe he was a guy who would have kidnapped us by gunpoint? Guns work both ways. I don't always agree with Cuomo. I think he uses the shouting match, as a gimmick. But his points are valid for most part.

@KingNicotine the 70%came from surveys at the time of the impeachment. In other words 65 to 70% polled wanted there to be witnesses. And yeah, you're probably right. There are probably at least 35 to 40 %of people that would still vote for the ass, depending on the opposition candidate. Hillary was so hated by so many, due to the propaganda driven on her no doubt by the right wing. Then you had some who don't want a woman in the white house,,, and yet she still won the true vote in the popular vote.
Obviously you don't read all my crap either, or you wouldn't say I'm blinded by the hate I have for him.
Actually, I have many republican friends. And their opinions are actually mine too. They are disgusted,,, by his behavior and,,, only approve of very few of his decisions he's made as president. And honestly for the most part, they are only happy with anything he's done to get them more money. That says a lot.
As for severing our debate,,, no problem. You have a perfect right to have your opinion. And so do I. Hopefully come November, mine will prevail. Then we'll see how fairly you guys treat a dem president. I remember Obama well. It's pretty obvious how.

@KingNicotine Oh, and I don't think trump is using the virus to thin the pop. Others have tossed that out. I don't think trump is a Russian agent,,, he's honestly too stupid,, they'd never trust him with info. And I don't have to follow anyone's accusations about him and how he is,,, he tells it all in his behavior and especially his hate filled rallies. Been to one lately? I'll bet u he's chomping at the bit to have one. That's why he wants so hard to open some of the country, so he can try and have one. And ya know,,, I'll bet several thousand idiots would go.

Come on guys. It's a virus, like any virus, just a new, different virus. Transmission will obviously be like the flu virus. Touch, mucus spread via mass togetherness. That's why airlines, cruise lines, subway busses, cabs etc. You saw the navy aircraft carrier desire to remove crew as needed any time u go to another store, where you have possibly of touching a shopping cart just after or shortly after another person, you may receive the virus. Therefore after you shop, sanitize. Gas pumps should be sanitized periodically. Wash your hands after pumping. Common sense will save potential spread. Use it.
As for trump. Have a rally and shake hands with everyone there.

A hero moves when danger arrives. Not after it's done it's worst and on the way out. You'll never be president so you can act anti trump all u want it won't help. You're just another ultra conservative that sat by and allowed trump to get the giant foothold he had. Having a front row seat, to make at least some objections, but u did none. Hardly any Republicans will vote for u and if Dems are smart, they won't either. Too little, too late.

I was just listening and thinking, how does having the three parts of government, that are supposed to create checks and balances,, actually work when if a government consists of three republican or Democrat parties? If you have a republican president and house and senate,, how are you going to have any proper government? Look at trumps first two years. He went on unchallenged.
When u have a person like McConnell at head of the senate, threatening all his repub allies to follow the leader or else and u have a republican house controlled by another right wing flunky,,, and a Trump nut as Prez,,, how is that checks and balances?

I always have to cringe when these non trump Republicans talk about...the truth... That used to be the older Republican Congress. Do we not remember the McConnell and Republicans saying, I'm sorry president Obama, you can't place a supreme Court justice, you only have 11 months left in your term. Buttt... when trump had 20days, left in his presidency, it's just fine for these same Republicans, to go right along with McConnell, cramming Amy Barrett, down our throats. And not lose a moment of sleep over doing it. Remember too, the famous words of Lindsay Graham? By God, when we have a republican president in office, and this cones up...use my words against me. Cause truth is non existent in the Republican party.

@Captain America Its unfortunate. But in this land of trump, it's attack, attack, attack. No president has caused such animosity in everyone that so many people are just waiting for the opportunity to jump on someone for almost anything. But honestly it's social media that's opened the flood gates.
Look at the president for example. 80 % of his mouthing off is on Twitter. So he goes nuts. I look at myself for another example. My whole life I've never talked about politics, or other things, cept to my family or friends and work,, maybe. Now the tube is filled with hatefulness, attack and general emotional expletives. Sure, some nice things, but mostly attacks. Suddenly we all have an outlet to shout from. Kind of a double edge sword though. We also can be heard by the leadership where before we sat silent and took it.
1
-
@Captain America So true, but as long as there is freedom of speech, combined with a media source where us everyday people can voice, within reason,, our minds, we'll have to do like we do with radio or TV,,, change the channel.
My high-school psychology teacher taught us that, if there are annoying sounds in a room, and you couldn't shut them out, you're the one with the problem.
I don't think anything tests that more than reading some of the comments on the tube.
Kinda like if there's a crowd chanting, lock her up. If you join in, you have problems, listening doesn't hurt anyone. Unless of course ur the instigator of said chant and still say nothing, that's different.
Guess that's showing my feelings indirectly.

@evangelicalcatholics Come on. This, everytime you get caught, blaming liberals for it, is getting old. He did crooked shit, he got caught, as a liberal, and had a fair trial, as a liberal,, got sentenced,, went to prison,, kept trying to appeal, to conservative Supreme Court, and denied. Now,, who let's him out,,, the biggest crookedest president of all time. He was convicted by a totally unbiased system. Quit crying liberals,, every time you're caught being a crook.
1
-
@quasimobius Firstly, you're boy crook tried to play the, " political prisoner", card, and that's why Cooper used Mandela as an example. Second, he had a full, legal trial, with witnesses and real judges, prosecutors and a defence team. He was found legally guilty by unbiased jury. Third, the Supreme Court wouldn't even hear the case, because it was a valid judgment by a good legal system. A predominantly conservative justice. And finally, I'm sick of people like you and your obvious hero Trump, who is releasing these people for totally personal reasons, not for justice. Because, I'll bet you, one of his releases will be his boy, Stone. I suppose he's a poor innocent guy to, right?
1
-
@evangelicalcatholics What a bunch of bull. The man was caught dead to rights doing everything he's accused of. He had a full trial, no bullshit session like the Republicans in the senate just did. He tried many times to get a retrial, all the way to the Supreme Court, which turned it out because the trial, testimonies, witnesses, everything was all above board and proper.
And please, this crap,, as to how above board and pure the Republicans are is as much bullshit as Trump after a dozen big macs. They sat there and lied through their dentures about how fair and equal they there being, just like how they managed the Clinton impeachment. Horse shit.
Ya know, I'm sick of explaining every time one of you just repeat what Trump dung says.
Before you spout your praise for dipshit man, and boast his,, "achievement," look up the facts. And not just fox News, go to many sources and see how wrong you are about many things.

Look how he looked at the protesters. Totally racially mixed crowd,,,but he called all of them, traitors, punks, anarchists. Maybe he's prejudice against anyone that's not his sheep.

Yeah,600 lousy bucks is CRAP! It's a drop in a well, of what is needed. It's just another pidence, pocket change, in the world where 600 bucks is a weeks pay for average skilled workers. People like Romney, Trump, any politician spend 600 bucks in a couple of days, in their daily lives. But they think us getting 600 bucks should last a couple of months or more. Average rent is higher than that. Average mortgage is twice that. And they want us to bow down to that and praise them for bubble gum, when we need a meal. When was the last stimulus check? And now at Christmas time, they say, here's half of that, Merry Christmas.

It's so strange, Trump blames protesters on the Dem s, but it's all happening on his watch, why? Because he is the instigator and chief. How many riots or protests did we have during the whole 8 years of Obama?
Maybe take some responsibility Trump. U lying sac of crap.
Hey Kayleigh, does Donnie think you got a perty mouth, when you're in private together? Or do you know that u dare not be alone with him knowing his true self.
Kayleigh, you lied, right outta the gate at your very first press conference. After u said you'd NEVER, lie to the press, or the people.
Does anyone notice the sharp contrast, between Sarah Sanders, and,,the new girl. Anyone see that maybe there was a reason for that? From Amazon princess, or prince depending on make-up, to wolf in little miss Sunshine clothing.

Well, though you are right that the right is being petty, about the tator head, and the like. You have to admit, all the petty ultra left sightings that everything we've lived with for a hundred years,is now offensive,,,,is kinda stupid as well.
I read all those stories to my kids, they don't have a racist bone in their body. Now it's,we can't have football teams with Indian names, toys must be gender correct. Or whatever. My highschool is the chamberlain Chiefs. That is a proud name. But OMG, it might offend someone? Come on. How darn sensitive are we? I'm german. But I don't cry every time I watch Hogan's Hero's. Just like subtle comedy on TV. Nothing can be funny anymore, because some super liberal makes a speech that that word is offensive. It works both ways.

What else is new Jake. Hell, I wonder if the bill constructors, understand what they write, for the most part. But Trump was elected for the fact that he was going to run an anti typical government, so understanding the common procedures isn't strange in his scheme of things. Government certainly needs a good cleaning and a kick in the ass, when procedure is concerned and,, civility. They honestly do threat the people like we work to keep them happy,,not the other way around. Trumps words at the debates were spot on,, unfortunately he was lying or wasn't honest about doing all he said.

Going on about it,,,not cool.

@therainbowconnection6813 There's a difference between intentionally speaking out against a common sense if not courtesy to everyone else when there's a life taking virus running around, and self concerning issues. The world has had mandatory rules around for decades, that not everyone agrees with, but we do it for the betterment of everyone. If it's something that only causes you personally, and noone else harm, go for it. I ride motorcycles. I don't wear, "gear", but I do wear a helmet. I drive constantly with no seat belt. But,,,, I ride defensively, with traffic, no crazy shit. I have never had an accident driving or riding that I've caused.
I'm not influenced by any so called source that u say I listen to. I wear a mask in stores and the like, because I hope it'll help, even though I have gotten my shots. Was no big deal. I didn't lose my soul, the world still turns and nobody came to my door wearing a swastika patch and a Biden sticker, like you loonies say. I got it because it will curb the spread of the virus, period. And I'll wear the mask in stores until the virus no longer floods hospital s and clinics with people like you.
1
-
@therainbowconnection6813 Of course, no vaccine is 100%. But when people are still flooding ERs, and taking hospital beds from other emergency or semi emergency elective surgeries, just because they're making a statement and nothing else,,, that's ridiculous. And no amount of stupid excuses or phony justification with make that right. Man kind has to do hundreds of things they don't necessarily want to do. But if it helps the society as a whole and doesn't truly affect you,,then why not give a little,to save a lot. Seat belts don't work 100%,,,but its the law. Yearly flu shots aren't 100%, but millions are given yearly. You're logic,,,is illogical.
Like I said before. I'm all for freedom's. But if its something as minor as a once in a lifetime shot, or wearing a stupid mask around others for a while, it's ridiculous to act out against it. Especially when probably all the promoter's of none usage, have had their shots. Have the best possible health care, or plenty of money, should they get sick and can't work for a couple weeks. Bottom line. You're being lead around by people who don't live your life. They're the 1% but they need ur voices. If you die from covid tomorrow, they won't give a crap, cause they're more than taken care of health care wise. And if you're all set financially and health care wise, think of the hundreds of thousands that not only have died, but poor old or even young now because they made that wrong decision.
Biden or anyone doesn't want to mandate anything. But when you have power hungry governor's, like desantis and others hawking for VP slots or even the white house, saying,,, it's your choice, no matter what,,, he's gotta do something.
Do me a favor, next time you are out driving,,do some texting when you're near a cop. And when he gives you a 500 dollar ticket, ask him why that law got made. Then argue it when you go to court.
1
-
@therainbowconnection6813 I believe you mean,. You agree people people, " shouldn't", turn a heslth issue, into a political one? Desantis is doing exactly that. Because he's fighting Joe Bidens fight to vaccinate everyone. Which is,no matter what you say, a plus, to making the virus less deadly.
You just do not, get the analogy do you.
The no texting, while driving,,law. Hasn't been around for decades, like the small pox vaccine. But now it's a law. Still a choice, but it HELPS,save what?, Lives. Where is Desantis there? Why is he not raging against that? Because it's a political. Joe Biden, didn't try to make it so.
My point,,, Desantis is making it political.
Second. Your point that the vaccine doesn't kill the virus, but calms the symptoms,so you won't maybe die,,but you could still spread it? True. But then your only spreading it to another vaccinated person. Child, older grandma, or grampa. You're points are right,to a point. But you're not seeing the whole picture.
Yes, people should have a right to chose. But if they chose wrong, it does possibly kill, someone else.
My daughter said it right years ago.
I didn't want to wear my seat belt while she was driving. She said, if you don't,and we have a horrible accident and u go thru the windshield and die,, I've lost my father,, when all that had to be done,,was buckle up. That's all I gotta say. You have your right to chose.

I'll tell you. I don't want Kavanaugh to get the nod to the supreme Court, but these supposed Christan women that go to booze parties and then preach I'm a great Christian with high moral values? Sorry ,,it tends to shoot down their trustworthiness. Just like Kavanaugh saying hes so pure,,but yet has those same values,,,i don't buy that either. He just needs to step down. I'm no saint by any means. And i did mischievous stuff as a kid and even as an adult,,,but never,,did i abuse any girl or woman like what these people are being accused of or even get bloated stoned at parties or clubs or any get together. There are people in the world that are not as bad as other's. Why aren't these people getting nominated for high offices? Why is it we have to have Trump types,,in politics? Sleazy jerks with one foot in church, and the other grabbing women in inappropriate ways , then lying about it. Hell,,at least Trump finally admits he's a scumbag. After getting caught,,but he did. Guess we're gonna have to get a picture of Kavanaugh with his gut full of booze and his dong aiming at a young girl.

I8thumper These pedophile s should be put away. We aren't talking about the same thing though. Pedophile s pray on young people,,by luring them because they are young and trusting. Especially of family,, people of power and clergy,,because they trust in God,,blablabla. This is an incident by two teens,, probably not as immature as an 7,8,9,10 year old. Out at a beer bash,,, knowing they probably will get drunk. He probably planned on getting her drunk and loose. Hoping she'd give in. There's no doubt they do that in those prep schools,,just as in college parties. He just like his buddies was hoping for a positive reaction. Its truly his denile of it that's getting him in trouble. That and his past record of wanting to push the right wing agenda. Justice's should be neutral.

Come on,. Mcconnell with a heart? A conscience? I think not. Mcconnell is a criminal mind plotting each move shearly by self serving principles,, period. Hell, he was like a monster with Obama. If looks and thoughts could kill, Obama wouldn't have had one term, much less 2. The ONLY,, reason mcconnell wants rump gone is because his time and value was expired. Mitch doesn't have that nickname loosely. He used Trump s salesmanship just like Putin did. To get everything he wanted while the fire was hot. Then Rump went over the edge. Now he's a pariah. A lode stone around mcconnell s neck.
I believe there are big wigs behind mcconnell. The money people. They know he's a,,,,whip,,in the Senate. A mob boss. I think that's why he gets reelected over and over.

Makes sense. Look at Nixon. His famous, " you won't have Richard Nixon, to kick around anymore", speech, as he quit the office to avoid impeachment. If Trump wants to walk out, as a kind of martyr, with 40 %of people loving him,,, that may be his best way out very possibly, free from all the legal consequences that are floating around him after he leaves office. Think about it. He makes a deal to leave office if, all the charges of the crap they're saying he's eligible for when a regular citizen, are dropped. He walks away clean, still admired by his base and can go right back into his ritzy lifestyle. Able to boast his win, yet again, over everyone.

I agree. I'm one of those people, that say, don't give trump the air he uses, all the while screaming, fake news.
Because I see all the free publicity he gets. In my opinion, his motto is, any publicity is good publicity. So no matter how u show his creepiness, it boosts his ratings amongst his people. He's always going to have supporters. Airing his bullshit or not. We're always gonna know he's a crooked , lying, sob. Giving him the free publicity, builds his ego. Whether you show his horrible moments, or things he does right. He just wants the air time.

You trumptards are right though. He doesn't need the Russians. He's got bug eyed, goiter ladened, Bitch McConnell to help him screw us over. And if you think Trump gives a shit about you,, just wait and see how fast you'll be outta sight outta mind, once he's gone. What I want to know is, Trump brags about all these millions of new jobs out here that are decent pay and long lasting,,, where the hell are they? Also, if trumps bragging about good jobs in the production field were one of his promises,, haha kept. Where the hell are they? His own line of Trump crap, isn't even made here. So where are all the production jobs and businesses of production? I've not seen any. Maybe production of oil and gas on US soil? Is that it? That's not factory work or production of average things we all buy and use. All the push back of , just another politician,,in 2016 was caused because Republicans held reigns on Obama the whole damn 8 yrears of his presidency. They practically muted every damn bit of helpful legislation he wanted to put in place. He wasn't even allowed to install a pick for the supreme Court,, which was his right. Just like Trump does now when he blames Democrats for everything that he can,, even though he and the Republicans have full custody of the government. I feel bad for Obama because even though his administration brought the country back from the plague years of another republican monarchy,, he's getting no credit for it,, because Trump is sucking the wind outta those sails taking credit for it all. What a total waste of human being, Trump is.

I have to laugh when these Republicans say stuff like,,,we want to get back to what's best for America. When everytime they get into power in the white house, they pull the same Ron Reagan trickle down crap. Is that what's good for America? Giving more wealth to the wealthy, and saying give as little as u can, to the working stiff. Enough to keep him or her, hoping, but never really making it. That's the Republicans think is the,," plan". They act like trump was the lone weeble, creating the crappy conditions for working people, but they're the makers of the rules. Trump just signed their proposal.

But really,,can we totally trust the word of some other countries, like India say,,for true results. People who live in crammed poverty. Prime targets. And now suddenly their cured? Come on media. The push to show Trump's failures by comparison, isn't needed. He did fine all by himself, showing his true feelings. @bobbytookalook I say, if your rep works for you and not their own interests or their next step up the ladder. Then keep reelecting them. But you know, most people, no matter the state, pretty much want the same thing. So though state governments may have different personal desires for their, constituents,,, the results should be the same. My wife is from Kansas. She s told me since we met that Kansas is one of the most conservative states to live. Yet even they have a majority of people who stand up for women's rights. And we have seen that to be the standard amongst Americans all over. Yet many republican and maybe some Dem State governments want to force, their bosses, yes bosses, ways on them. But the sales pitch is so believable people think it was their own ideas.

@joyfullydreaded1371 Oh yes! I totally agree. My brother is 55 years old and is a parts driver. He lives check to check, like many Americans. He recently had a stroke,so obviously could have used his disability thru SS. I mean come on, a stroke. The SS department knows damn well how strokes work. But by the time he would have gotten any money, he fortunately was able to work though still being half paralyzed on one side. Start the checks then investigate would be my thinking. Get the person some instant aid then if they show fraud, stop the checks. We send billions abroad almost instantly for other countries aid. But our own citizens suffer, praying for family help if it's available. Thankfully my sister had appropriate housing for the 5 months my brother recouped. Even if just maybe only to 65% capability. He never got a dime from SSDI. Even to comp my sister having to buy a bed. We got him a walker, shower needs etc. Yet he's paid in for his whole working life.
I'm 69. A vet, worked my whole life as a carpenter. Paying in from 24 on. And yes when I applied for my SS retirement, they made sure to tell me, I didn't have enough points to claim SSDI. Not that I wanted too.
But let me give you another little tidbit of fairness in SS.
My daughter in laws mother is an American citizen, living in Italy. She got remarried to an Italian citizen. And they live and work in Italy. He's never paid a dimes worth of taxes here, yet he gets almost 800 a month for spouse claimed SS retirement from our coffers. And she has worked and lived in Italy, for the last 45 years or more. But still gets SS retirement as well.
It's most definitely messed up. But this is what I mean by fraud, in my opinion. Things need some adjustments. But it's too etched in stone so they don't deal with it.
I agree with you totally that it's an unfair mess a lot.

Unless there's an f, n smoking gun, the Republicans won't admit to anything they or Trump do wrong. That's the bottom line. A normal person would be ready to leave a party when NONE,,, of the republicans stand against Trump when he smears John McCains person and him as a dedicated American. Where are all the flag wavers in his crowd saying to him,, NO! thats not right. Right,, these are the so called patriots,, of America. When they curse pres Obama, for supposedly not truly being a citizen or an American. Truly disgusting. Trump should just resign. For being a false American. Basically using his phoney love for the flag just to stir up his crowd. All the while praising dictators and killer leaders of other countries.

What's always amazing is the cheers and applause. Who are these screemers that cheer hatred to others, just because he says so. Maybe not all Trump ist s are deplorable s. But by God these screemers are. These are the types that Hitler and Mussolini and Kim Jong, cheer. And I doubt even those people, cheer the hatred of their own people, like here when Trump condemns ,dems, Doctors, other candidates, anyone,,,that disagree with him in the public eye, because he knows others see it and hear it. And his sheep, they cheer. Send them back,, lock um up. What ever he says, they cheer. Fauci, and those other idiot's, and they cheer.
What kind of people are these, if not deplorable? Maybe the kind who become the bad cops out there, that see nothing wrong with beating someone senseless, for not getting out of the car when asked. People we shouldn't let carry a weapon of any kind. Because the gun and badge, give them power they never had as a civilian.
I can guarantee, if Trump handed out guns, at his rallies and said, March down this street with me, shooting into the air, they would. Probably thinking, the bullets just keep going forever. And not raining down on someone or something. What are they gonna do, when the king is no more?

All I can say is, I'm not sure if any of Hillary s supposed wrong doings were true, but even if so, none compare to anything Trump has done, and she would have been, hands down,,,, ten times a better president than Trump.
Even though it's hard for me to see any Russian involvement hurting her. I believe she faced the stigma that a woman's place,, thing more. I believe she obviously didn't get enough male votes because she's not a vixen type like Miss pin up of Alaska. She's a smart self made and wise woman, and many men hate that. Mix that with the idiot Trump supporters and that's my opinion she didn't do better. If she'd have won by a larger margin, even the electoral college vote wouldn't have gone over. I would have honored her as president.

@chrisw9534 Ahh,,,.and there it is. All of us that see thru his bullshit,,,just hate him. Please don't go on anymore with your, soft spoken honor bull. You my friend, are a blind loyalist to the worst,,,or one of,,,human beings in the world. He's vulgar, a bully, but a baby bully, egotistical, and many more. But to top it off, he's not even a good president.
He's ridiculously uneducated, but his ego is so huge he never admits not knowing something. Unless of course it's not knowing someone that's a crook he associated with.
Just throw on ur made in Vietnam maga crap and pray for the next rally you can go to.
You have your nerve, playing the open minded Mr nice guy, that only wants people to be honest with their, opinions,,, when you yourself, has had his soul plucked by a glorified used car salesman. Keep up the act,,,but eventually you all say the things that give you away.

@Steve Marquez Steve, For four years, Trump has done things crooked. Whether it be, remove honest, smart gov employees, because they physically witnessed his selfish acts and came out and exposed him. Or give his stupid family members serious positions of power, where they had 0 ability to perform, where they could wheel and deal themselves and him financial gain. All the while, giving the Republicans everything mcconnell wanted, in exchange for them looking the other way in everything he did. Then came the virus. Once again, his ego and anger,to the fact, not that people were dying, but how it would affect his presidency. And once again, the Senate sat on it's tongue,to cover his ass. And for 5 months, real protection and response, didn't come for the people. But mr idiot still cares how it affects his presidency. The whole time, running to his insane following for an ego boost with ridiculous rallies. People are dying, and he's doing f,n rallies. Just to make him feel better about himself, period. And the Republicans sit on their tongue's.
Then now we're at a point where finally we see maybe legally we can get rid of this egotistical sleazebag , in a way the Republicans can't mess with. And right to the last weeks, days, hours of the process, the sob and a bunch of republican idiots are willing to get people killed to give this,,,monster,,in rich boy clothes, another 4 years? And you wonder why the majority of us are so damn pissed? So pissed that maybe, dispite our not wanting violence, we're ready to give some,to prevent the beast and his minions to run roughshod over america, any longer. He's been, not only a power hungry slug for 4 years, but an embarrassment, that's made us a laughing stock in the world.
You're right about me not doing anything from behind my key board. But I took and used what I have legally to use. My vote and my voice to show my feelings. I also voted for Hillary against this thug. We the majority, won that one. But technically we the majority, lost. I'm just damn glad he's no longer in power. Let's see how far he gets as just DJT, creep.

@Steve Marquez Wrong again Steve. Firstly, just cause I wrote a book, for a comment and mentioned the 2016 election, means I have pent up anger. I don't hold too many grudge's. My sister in law, when my dad died and she made my brother grab a bunch of dads painting s that were blue ribbon fair wins and they took them all before we were there, and because I was adopted, she told my brother I shouldn't get any of the inheritance,,,grr. Yes I still won't talk to her. But,,as for the 2016 election, I was disappointed, but the electoral college is part of the written system, so I rode with it. I was perfectly willing to give Rump a chance. Even knowing he is a scumbag his whole life. I figured like most people, the government is set up the way it is to check the branches. Keep everything legal. Rump said, I m not a politician. I'm going to drain the swamp. I saw shortly after, that was just another lie, that he spouts like spittle when he speaks. So, the ruthless Republicans had their way with him. Kiss his giant ass, he'll kiss theirs. All I care about is fairness and justice. I'm not a college grad. I'm a 6 ft,220 carpenter, that's worked hard all my adult life to raise our kids, see they had it better than me, and hope the people we elect will care about doing the right thing for everyone. Sure I ,,, hate people like Trump, mcconnell, Graham etc. I hate unfairness, exclusiveness, greed, prejudice. And they stand for those things. If you're for all that oh well. We both have our rights to think what we want. All I know is, the majority spoke for the better this time. But I'm not stupid enough to not know the so called, conservatives, won't be plotting another comeback in 2022 and 24. But pent-up hate? Nope.

@Steve Marquez Oh, I'm glad you're accepting the election. Biden is a learned man. More a centrist. I'm more that way myself so I think he'll be fine. Because, unlike Trump, he'll appoint people of quality and knowledge, in the positions where needed. I'm also glad the Senate is even now. Harris will be the decider, but she's not a nut, I believe she'll be fair not lopsided. Things will be voted on for a change. And not held back by a overly zealous wack like mcconnell.
I said I was glad u said you were willing to give Biden your support. Because my sisters been indoctrinated into fox news, oan, and news Max. I was shocked. And she said she won't watch Biden or listen to him. But that's the way it goes.
I know Bidens probably not my first choice,, and really neither is Harris, but I think he's a good start, and as u said, stays healthy both mentally and physically.

@lincolnmaceachern2410 There is nothing in upcoming cases that are going to be affected as much, as the cases brought up to take away people's rights. Their health. And their dignity. And will be brought to a majority lopsided supreme Court. Miss Jackson was basically being accused of letting every criminal go with a slap on the wrist. The reason Barrett was questioned on her views in certain cases was just that. Because her opinion on the court before even hearing the case, was already etched in her mind. But several Republicans questioned her about roe v Wade, and she satisfied them, that she saw Roe, as a precedent. And saw no reason it could be overturned. And she said this just over a year plus ago. Now, suddenly she changed her mind i guess.
The supreme Court will probably never see the kinds of cases these lower court judges do. So i seriously doubt there's ever going to be a case that Mrs Jackson will see where her personal opinion will fold in. Jackson is more of the thinking with personal or political opinions. We could see by Barrett's writings and her speech, that she definitely, definitely, leans towards the far right, in her own mind.
At least miss Jackson answered every question with a good clean answer. Not sidestep every question with," I can't really answer that question because it's someone else's opinion.

Wow. So even girlfriend/daughter, accepted there was no fraud in the election. But they either didn't try,or did but not very hard, to get the point across to daddy and his followers. While he sat there on the 6th, and INCITED, his gang of robot like, brain dead , puppet's on a string, loons,,,to go to the capital, and fight for his rights to be an ahole.
Can you just picture him sitting there, watching the TV, all the shit going down. His precious daughter/girlfriend, obviously does nothing. All these aids,,,do nothing. Kelley Ann Conway, does nothing. Etc. And the right wing all, say,,,, he did his sworn duty as president.
They are all as guilty as well. Because to work in the White house, you obviously have to take an oath to uphold the law and do everything you can, to uphold the constitution. Not to follow the leadership of a deranged nutcase.

They NEED,,to show the GF video to every new enlistments to police departments, everywhere,,,and tell every enlistee shit like this will NOT,,,be accepted. And if you can't know in your mind right now, you will not lose yourself in this type of policing, you do not,,, belong here.
Policing can be emotionally harmful to anyone. Dealing with crap a lot of every shift, can test the good meaning of any human being. Maybe more extensive training and or practice in the conditions cops face daily would definitely be a plus. Cops are on patrol for a reason. They're out with the people all day everyday. Having a separate force for an emotionally retarded or affected criminals, doesn't seem the way to go. Cops work on a split second need. How are you going to determine the mindset of a person commiting a crime, untill you go to artest them? It's the initial arrest or detainment where things happen. You couldn't always have 20 minutes, for the psychologists cops to get to the scene. Pay good smart cops decently and train them constantly to deal better with certain arrests or just temp detainments.

@Bryanx1964 You people are all wrong. First off, if Biden had of done anything back in the day,,, the Republican house and senate would have said something then.
Second, there has already been a report from a Senate formed investigative committee that said there was NOTHING,, there. Zip, zero, nada. Sorry folks. Trump did this all by himself, for himself, with the help of his good buddies. The next, best people, to get indicted for crimes.
And no, Trump can't do it. Not legally anyway. And that's what this is all about.
So, before you spout more allegiance for your orange leader,, go on line and ask someone besides fox News or Sean Hannity.

@scottbecker4367 Hey man, Trump does not care one donut hole about fighting corruption. The man, oops excuse me,,, slug is about one thing,, money. Haven't we all listened to his reasons about this or that? China,,, money They're getting over on us through tariffs. Nato, money, don't pay their share. Ukraine,, money, twice,, why give them money,, they don't like me. And, why should we give so much to them, when other countries don't,,, but they do. Just read between the lines when he talks,, money, money, money. But he don't mind getting it.
Keep it going Scott. They'll probably never listen. Brainwashing takes along time to undo, sometimes never.

@Bryanx1964 Well first off, you're right he's been investigated, but not just 4 years, more like 40. You're knight in shining armor, that in your eyes, rides out at 6am on his white horse and fights crime all day. But oops, you're wrong.
The slug has been a total cheat, conman and crooked white collar creep his whole life. Don't take my word for it, do some research. If you truly care. I doubt it.
His most recent, truly is the trying to get the president of Ukraine to say that he's running an investigation on the Biden s, due to questionable dealings in corruption etc.
He basically planned to use that information to slander or attack Biden s credibility in the upcoming election. Just as he did in 2016 with hillary. You see, in politics, every slur you place in voters minds, gets them thinking twice about voting for your opponent.
Anyway,,, thats a crime. Then, in order to cover that crime, you use your position as president to stop other people, with knowledge of your crime, from testifying to the law. That's another crime. It's called obstruction. And according to the constitution of United States of America, impeachable. And that's what all this is about. If that simple explanation isn't good enough, you're beyond help.
You may think all the evidence is,, made up, or here say. But come on. Do you believe about a dozen journeymen and women, dedicated to serving the US, or a lifelong conman and his gang that are in the game for 4 more years of a disgraceful human being that took everything his dad made all his life and bought gold toilets and other luxuries cause he thinks he's a king.

-
@Bryanx1964 Pfft, how do you agree with anything I said and still think Trump isn't crooked? Biden has been cleared of anything other than his son may have used his relationship to get a cushy money making job. Which even I think was a dumb move, but not illegal.
So,,, why is Biden worse?
And u ask what if trumps kids had done it? Every one did. And worked in the white house as advisors at the same time. Bidens son didn't do that.
Trumps daughter gets deals with China for clothing lines. Jarrad made deals with the Arabs for money for his 666 property that was sinking. And these are things we know.
Another point u make,, he gets results? What results? Tariffs we end up paying for, in farmer pay backs, etc. I don't remember all the results of his, ' accomplishments “? But we the consumers are paying for them.
Let's see, jobs rates and unemployment. Check the facts, during the last several years of Obama, the jobs ratings had already started to climb and statistics show the quarterlies are no higher than Obama s. And in some points are lower. Thankfully we're on a good recovery from the Bush years, but it started about mid term of Obama. I have no animosity towards you so peace back. Trump is not good for our constitutional writings. Which we should cherish. That's what I'm against and millions of others. Actually a majority.

You know, Monica was a competent adult when Clinton and her had their fun time. I wouldn't put it against the Republicans to have placed her in there intentionally to lure him. The Republicans hated him almost as much they did Obama. And they knew his weakness for the ladies. We've heard of entrapment right? Why is it hard to fathom that. Now it's poor Monica. Yes,,he was wrong to take the,, jailbait,,but come on, to put it all in his lap,,,no pun intended,,,is just wrong.

Just because you're a bike rider doesn't make you a trumper. But being a dumb ass , certainly does.
My god, this guy is so brain washed. But I'm sure it took a wet sponge,to do it.
I know so many people like him. And their intelligent people. It honestly amazes me Trump ever failed at his businesses. When you see people sold his horseshit, and follow him like a sheep. And no matter what you say, they are like a broken record, repeating his rhetoric at every turn. My thoughts are, there will, and has always been,, there are many kinds of people in the world that will always think differently than yet another person. Trump will always have blind followers and always have people who don't. Chris is just one of many people that believe Trump,no matter what he says.

And I got several million dollars so I can pay some of what I owe the 666 building that I bought and am in the red on for years. Thanks to daddy in law. Cause when I say his name,it gets me money. Cause before evanka agreed to let me date rape ,,, oops,,date her, my prisoner father was going to disown me. But baby I'm back, cause now I'm an idiot advisor to the biggest idiot businessman ever. So now I can travel the world on your dime and get paid for it. And, daddy in law has put me in charge of so many money making things. The middle East stuff, Corina virus stuff. Border stuff. And think,,,before this all I knew was how to fail at real estate.

And we know Trump's not suddenly gonna be a Pope, sex wise,,just cause he s in the White House . I'm sure he's given a look or two at Hope Hicks, and other women working in the White House . He's still a dirt bag.

@richardreese8038 True. I believe they,, for the most part,,,start out trying to keep to the letter of the law, when making judgements. I think, for the most part,,,they know,,, they're human beings, not god's. They too live in this world and country. At some point in their lives, the judgements they make may hit on one of their loved ones or friends or someone they care about.
