I was just listening and thinking, how does having the three parts of government, that are supposed to create checks and balances,, actually work when if a government consists of three republican or Democrat parties? If you have a republican president and house and senate,, how are you going to have any proper government? Look at trumps first two years. He went on unchallenged. When u have a person like McConnell at head of the senate, threatening all his repub allies to follow the leader or else and u have a republican house controlled by another right wing flunky,,, and a Trump nut as Prez,,, how is that checks and balances?
