I sure as hell hope so. Think what this is doing to the way the gov keeps honor, such as it is,,, in the US. Just as Schiff said, this will create a precedent that can be used from now on. Any high power US leader can use the no witnesses ploy from the time it gets allowed if no witnesses are permitted. Disgusting.

This is f, n ridiculous. She's scared she's gonna lose reelection. What is wrong if Robert's has to be a tie breaker? He has a job to do just like her. Do your job and be honest and allow witnesses. They've proven if the house had gone to court over the more of the witnesses in the house preliminary. Bring in Biden, call their bluff. They don't want any witnesses, none. They want it over so Trump can crow in the state of the union. And if any, witnesses are called it'll pull this out. DAMN U REPUBLICANS,! 75% of the public want a proper trial. Your constituents. @Bright Flash Everything was out in the open at the Clinton case. No witnesses were told not to testify, no paperwork was held back. This is a whole different case. Clinton admitted and apologized. Trump does that,,,, we'll be just as satisfied. But we know that'll never happen,,, Trump lies right to ours faces, probably under oath even. He's a slug.

@Bright Flash I agree the democrats acted similarly, to a degree,, as with this now,standing up for their own. But firstly, in my opinion that whole mess was rigged. The Republicans had it in for him his whole time in. They couldn't wait to get something on him. And isn't it strange how Starr was so, so determined to hang him, but now, a true proven con man, lying slug gets caught red handed doing a totally illegal act and according to all the same people that wanted to crucify Clinton, are trying so hard to prove rump an angel. Personally I think Monica was a plant. Knowing Clinton was an easy mark for a little extramarital sex. I can't remember who spilled the beans, probably her. I'll find out. But anyway, if you compare that to what rump did,, well then you're a Trump lover and what you say is as bias as any of these that don't want witnesses. @Bright Flash I can't find your latest comment to reply to, but did read it. And it mimicked every talking point the glorious white house lawyers hocked up. Bottom line is rump got caught, fact. And they're hiding every bit of testimony and witness to protect him. All that bullshit, as said by our past legal witch Pam Bondi "said, pretty shiny distractions ", is just that. Be real. @Bright Flash I did read much of your message. And maybe you're correct. My point 1,is that if that was so horrific what Biden did or didn't do, we all know McConnell had it in for the dems and especially for Obama. McConnell swore he'd do anything to make Obama a one term president. Why was there no call for investigation then by the Republicans? 2. This is the whole new ballgame. All I and 75% of all Americans, Republicans and democrats, wanted witnesses to be allowed. If all those 71 senator's are so beholden to their voters, why did they not listen to the people they supposedly represent, and allow them? That's all they had to do to satisfy everyone, cept 1. Obviously the one you carry water for. Am I and 75% of others wrong there too?
