@jeanlundi2141 Most of us just go through life just trying to survive. I don't mean to survive a war or attack. But doing what average people do. Work, raise a family, be a good neighbor, be a decent person towards others etc. We elect our government to deal with government stuff. We get drafted, do our duty get out, most of us... And maintain our day to day lives. If we wanted to run the show,,, we'd run for office. Our jobs... In the government way. Is to vote in people who do those jobs we can't. It shouldn't have to be our job to oversee and regulate our elected officials. We should be aware.. of their doings. And if they're not doing their job, we vote them out. That's what governments do, govern. They comm with other governments. Make appropriate deals, and interaction for our and their best interest. We shouldn't have to hold their hand when they do the jobs we elected them to do. I'm a carpenter remodeling person. I don't expect the person I'm working for on each job, to walk me through the project I'm doing. I'm the professional they are hiring me cause they're not. Government works the same way.

@peggybonham4256 I agree. He wasn't perfect , but what president or human is. But he was a thinking man, smart and logical. He was dealt a tough hand when elected and obviously the people thought of him well, or he wouldn't have been reelected. And left office loved as well. Not every 2 term president can say that. Hell, 45 wasn't even loved after 1 term. Guess that's why 1 term,,ha. Also Moscow Mitch hated him and he beat McConnell out, winning a 2nd term, when McConnell said he'd do whatever it took to make him a 1 term president. You suck McConnell! But yes, most of america and the world loved Obama. That's gotta make him feel good.

@kkpenney444 I totally agree with that. We should be informed, but the problem is, like here in Florida we are republican run. So informed or not, unless you're ready to be in the crowd at the State capitol all the time, they do exactly what they do, your input or not. And in 2016 when Hillary seemed a sure thing... Wham! Guess who. And that's if you are an informed voter. But I agree with you, it'd be super, if even republican government, listened to everyone, then made their decisions. It just doesn't always work that way. Keep the faith Jane. I try.

@zacretzer Those were different times. Less hectic but still not totally assured of total peace. But times before were even more... Crazy and different yet. History is a marvelous thing.

@passion777able We have to realize, speeches are written for presidents by writers. So they don't always speak from the heart. Though he did. Plus, America was meant to be independent of Europe and their religious background. Our constitution specifically separates religion and government. America was supposed to be free of religious rule and allow each person to have the religion of their choice. But not ruled by it. Not that all people allowed that to flourish. Because many that came from other countries, already had a religious philosophy. But government officials weren't supposed to rule by religion.

@victory-ukraine All most of us can do is give them, y'all, our best. And help with aid and thoughts. I know our government would love to do more, most of the world would. But noone wants a nuclear war. And pushing Putin's wrong buttons may cause him to push others. Many countries deal with inner country battles. It's horrible. But been like that for centuries. Our hearts are with all the innocent people especially. And shocked Putin would attack civilians. But in war, unfortunately there are casualties, not military alone. The alternative is give in. Obviously not a desire. And we do understand. Get the facts out to the Russian people. Enough of them saying no... to this attack, may stop it. Our thoughts are with you all.

@c.rutherford I checked into his history and according to a Washington post article, his business was doing badly after he left the white house. So they did have to sell out. But it seems retirement pay of 200,000 plus a year, that's far from having to sleep in someones guest room, haha. And now after book sales and such, their worth is around 10 million. I think they bounced back. They say Bill Clinton had similar issues. But they were caused by legal bills. Buut then with speeches, book deals etc, they too are back in the black. We should all be so lucky 😊 But you are right in that, if you have plenty of bucks, you have a better shot at winning. Of course from what I've heard. Hillary out spent trump. But whether it's so, I'm not sure. It is sad that campaigns are so expensive. The money they all burn campaigning, is truly disgusting. Like the country couldn't find a better use for the millions they spend each, getting elected. Especially considering it's other people's money. I live in Florida, and got an email from a Dem in Pennsylvania asking for a donation. Just 5 dollars. But we get hit on 30 times a week, asking for 5 dollars. Sorry, that's an electric bill. And that's a week. It never ends. And I know the Republicans are worse. I made the mistake of answering one republican political ad. From that moment, I was a potential donor. I got begs from the Republicans too. But they ask for 250 bucks. Wow. I'm about ready to stop caring about politics. Too old for this crap.

@RobertMJohnson Oh really. He tried,at least, to do things that would be helpful to the 60% of Americans that found it impossible to get health care. And if not for the disgusting behavior and hatred of one, M. McConnell, many more things could have been accomplished. That goes to his caring. As for his intelligence. I'd say it was pretty obvious. What , "evidence", do you have to show otherwise? I suppose in your opinion, djt was as much the genius he kept saying he was.

@c.rutherford Obama wasn't rich. Nor was B. Clinton. These were simple senators and governors. Not millionaires by any stretch. J. Carter was a millionaire. I think. Peanut farmer, and ex navy officer. Probably did pretty well. But a good man. Obama was a good family man too. Clinton as well, but he was just an eye roamer, when it came to the ladies. Like JFK. But good men. I believe G.W Bush was too. He just got bad advisors.my opinion.

@c.rutherford I'm not talking about now. I'm was referring to before they were president. And when they ran for office. Also I was referring to recent presidents or somewhat recent. The gentleman was talking about presidents being all millionaires when running and their being average Joe's. G. Bush was an average Joe. He didn't put on aires, thought yes he was a billionaire, millionaire whichever. Same with Clinton. Before he was president he wasn't a millionaire. And he is a down to earth person. That's all I was trying to say.

@Brady Christian seeings i can't translate what you wrote, I'm not sure your meaning. Assuming you're pissed at my question. Which is what it was. Just showing that Putin has had his desire to reestablish the country as one like it was when it was the USSR, for many years. Probably since he became, " President"? This attack is not new is what I was getting at. Oh and I clicked the link u put up. Am not familiar with the game, and obviously didn't understand the language. Did read the comments though, and am not impressed. So you're response as it is, is nothing except several angry faced emojis and the incorrect spelling of fuck. Oh BTW.
