Trump has had money laundering issues since his casino days. With Russians. Why would we be surprised it's anything new now. As for Jr, his kids know nothing except easy money. They learned it from the king of sleezy easy money,,,daddy. Why should we have expected anything less. But you idiot Trump voters were swayed by Mr idiot conman into believing his bullshit. Many of us are and were sick of government as usual. But seeing his past, why elect a damn crooked conman. Guess to millions,he said what we liked to hear. But when you listen and see the bull for what it is,,you should have read between the lines of bullshit. Now look what we've got. G W Bush did the same damn thing. He waltzed into a thriving economy,,took credit for it and 8 years later we're in the 2nd worse depression in our history. So you think Trump s tax hand out to the a few upper middle class and billions in tax savings for the upper 8%, is gonna be any better. You'll see.

Diaper Don the Con I prefer false news. That has to be the Dems catch phrase, like fake news, is the Republicans go-to phrase. False, unlike fake, is more to the point of, a lie. Which trump used constantly, and still does. We should remember. Trump, in the eye's of probably most Republican politicians, is 74 million votes. That's all. They really know he's a flake. But he's a flake that carries 74 million votes to them who are up for reelection soon enough. So our only response is to stay on target, and vote blue, to stop this steal,in 2022, and 2024. Because they're doing a lot,,, of dirty tricks,to keep as many Dem and independent voters from voting in the next 2 elections.

It honestly makes me wonder. Is this just some kind of big play? How can an almost entire administration be so f,d up.
I cannot believe, such a group of seemingly intelligent people, can 1,,,work for this Bozo, sorry Bozo. And go on like this for 4 damn year's. Right to the very end.
But I guess if 70,000,000 people can still vote for him, after seeing his behaviors, just with the damn virus.
Definitely an enigma.

@infinitemonkey917 But that to is the govs fault. Though individuals know rents due bills grow and buying food and other essentials is happening, if there was one mind driving the aid would be precise,,, funds could be in the neediest of us quickly and constantly. Keeping people calm while having to be stay at homers. But because some in our government, think feeding the big business is more important than the needy,,weeks went by without hope,,and still does for many.
But patience is better than possible severe illness, with death,,,as a possibility as well.

Thing is, Trump's ideas are never consistent. Lije with his campaign. He was 180 on everything as he is in office. Like everyone has said, his thoughts change depending on who's in the room. So,,you may agree with him on just what he says in one breath and totally disagree the next. We all change our minds. About our feelings,, thoughts on subjects, people,,most things. But it should hopefully be for the better. Trump s true base for his changing ideas are for his benefit,,for most part. Not for the people.

Man, we can only hope. I am very skeptical of the ability of people that investigate to not get corrupted. How easy would it be.
David, the Republicans wanted more attacks on everything Obama did than Trump has even done. Unless they think they are going to be connected in any way with any crooked goings on,,i doubt they're going to pull any of Trump's abilities. The lead Republicans hated Obama,,. They'd agree with anything,,in my opinion,, Trump can do to keep total powee. I'm so glad to hear the chances of a democratic victory in the house this year, i cant be happier. Thanks David.

That seems possible. What are native Americans needs or desires, compared to just regular Americans? Just asking. No offense at all meant.
As a 71 year old average American born in Germany and coming here at 4, most of us, i believe, just want a decent living throughout our lives and as a retired person with no business related income, only living on SS, to be able to support my average home and retire with decency. I worked hard all my working life, but as a carpenter, lived pretty much paycheck to paycheck . Thankfully, my home, I built myself, is paid for. But we take care of stray cats and have 7 now.
I believe most of us feel similarly. We just want to live a reasonable life. And if Kamala can help make that happen, she's doing well.

Hell it'd be nice if reporters would ask him, what makes you want to run as a republican? That would really open up a can of worms. The dude as athletic as he may be, has 0 reason for trying to be a US senator. Maybe a representative, but not a senator. And hell, I can't fathom him as a representative either, but a senator, not a prayer. Face it. He's a token black, in the eyes of the other republicans. Because he's the perfect patsy. A sure republican vote yet I'll guarantee you, any thoughts he may have on anything,,, would be met with, uh sure. We'll think about it. Kinda sad really.

BLAIR M Schirmer I know it's crazy that people,,,at least reasonably thinking people, that voted for him either just didn't see the obvious,,or just didn't care, which in my opinion aren't thinking, people. Point is he had an obvious record of criminal goings on. I'm shocked the republican party let him run on their ticket. Unless it proves they're just as crooked as he is. I guess when he said, drain the swamp,,he had to rephrase because he's just as swampy as the people he was referring to.

Because it's not JUST, the price of eggs. It's many, many things. But trust me. If whatever trump could do, to get prices down. It would mean, less humane treatment of producing animals. You can,,,give animals better life conditions, charging a dollar more for eggs, and then give low income folks food vouchers for price hikes. Same with fuel. You don't want to regulate prices? Then give low income people ways to afford, the higher prices. It can be done. For some reason, government doesn't want to do it.

@ebperformance8436 Exactly. These,,,scumbag, trumpites, including jr's overly religious acting upriser girlfriend,, are doing just what Republicans do. LIE. And the brainwashed crowd,, no doubt salted with paid audience uprisers, are there to sell to the media the image that they are a majority.
Think about it. Rock groups, preachers, hell, dictators. They all command an audience, that during the performance, would do almost anything, if they were asked to by the leader.

Ya wanna know the real problem with fla and hurricanes? Greed!
It's like living on an island. We stick out into the water, between the Atlantic and the gulf. The developers and real estate thieves pushed and pushed to build homes, mobile and conventional in the damn swamp. Grasslands in southern central Florida. All low and flat. Hurricanes choose paths of least resistance, for most part. So depending on where they come ashore, results in how much damage is going to be caused.
Go back and see speeds and strengths of past hurricanes. They're all deadly over water.. it's like a semi, speeding down ur street. If he turns into your yard, your house is toast and depending on direction, your neighbor gets some too. It just is where it makes landfall to damage inland is. That area of Florida is low and relatively flat. Storm surge is relative to elevation. Chancey construction dictates what will survive and what will get ruined. Thats why New Orleans was an emergency waiting to happen. Same with the way they used the land here in fla. You build on a swamp. You gotta build better or it's a roll of the dice.
So when people like Desantrump get all... like he cares. You have to have restrictions and codes and forethought,, before looking at the revenue. That's what past and present leaders don't always do. So we have yearly disasters from storms just looking for those weak spots in the idiot, greedy real estate developers ideas to make millions and walk away.

@etherspin This is the type of bloviating he does that make me think his spiel, is a big performance. Would he really think, honestly,, that most people would believe he would go up against an armed gunman, and physically take him down? I cannot, see it. He knows everyone knows he took a deferment, 5 times, to avoid the military. With all his daddies connections, he could have gone in, gone into OCS, and come out a captain or major. Hell. He could have joined the navy, where he'd be safe on a ship somewhere. But he did everything he could do, to stay away from ANY, action at all. His biggest act of aggression is that damn stage he spouts his bullshit from. I think this is a big game to him. He was shocked he won the election. But once in he played the part. Unfortunately he's such a horrible actor. Can't remember lines. Can't read, so prompter doesn't help. It's just insane, that people still want him. Totally cringe worthy.

His whole presidency has been a,,,, disgusting waste of 4 yrars. If it hadn't been for some advisors and natural world events and of course the virus. His whole term was turmoil and stone throwing. Hardly any thing got done, except what the Republicans wanted, of course. I know his people will say, twas cause of Dems going after him. But he'd always provoke it. Just like the insurrection. He has this natural talent for,,stirring the pot, to get others in trouble, just to get what he wants. Then he walks away, and denies any involvement.
He's like the guy who knows nothing about cards, but always wins the pot. And maybe,if not for his outrageous ego and lack of caring for anyone but himself and a few family members, that wouldn't be so, bad? It is just not a good trait for a president,at all.

The problem is, the Republicans were already assholes. The way they treated Obama throughout 8 years shows they were f,d up before Trump. He just let the cat outta the bag showing their basic behavior. People wanna call them a cult under Trump, but they were already a bunch of slugs before that. I blame the die hard slugs, mcconnell, Graham, others I don't remember names, but just watch when they speak during events, and it shows. Trump had something they cherished, and that's why they protected him, but he didn't create their already cult like process and behavior.

Personally I think though Desantis would love being president, he would settle being trumps VP. With design on running for president in 2028. You have to remember, in 2016, all the Republican candidates were hitting trump with both barrels. Then when trump won the nod of the Republican party voters, everyone of them bowed down to the king like he was their daddy.
I'm laughing my arse off thinking of no doubt bald, with his hair cap,,, Stone,,, calling Desantis s hair, a bad haircut.
Though it is, I'd love to see Desantis walk up and grab Stones obvious hair hat and yank it off. And say, talk about bad haircut.

Khomiko ow First off,, not everyone has to have a 200,000.00, house. I'm quite satisfied with my very modest 3,2 18000 sq ft house on my 65 x 100 ft lot. Only valued about 85,000 in the neighborhood I live in. I'm not saying the millionaire s have to buy everyone a home. Just pay their damn fare share of taxes. Quit off shore money hiding to not pay even tax on that money. The simple list can go on and on. When billionaire s pay officials million's for voting for tax breaks making them billions,,, that's not right. Working people fight just to keep their heads above water,,while billionaires hide billions in overseas accounts. Pay employees barely enough to stay at or below poverty level. I don't even know all the ways the wealthy get over on the average person. We here in the good ole USA, boast, we're the most wealthy, prosperous, kind, on and on country in the world. Yet we have unfair health care. More homeless,,,for our supposed status,,, than probably any modern country in the world. We shun our poor. We second best our troops after they leave service, sometimes even with relatively free health care through the VA. All that and many things i don't even see. No,,i don't hate the wealthy,,unless they are so by living off the backs of the working folk. That's what i hate.

Randy Marsh I think people just want a wage that they can live decent on. I know people making 15 per hour, that barley make it. My sister makes 20, and she's complaining about food and other prices.
I worked for 15 years making less than 10 bucks, back in the 80s. Trying to raise a family. But I busted my ass every day out building houses. In 90 plus degree heat. Barely could pay bills and buy food. Don't talk about people that don't deserve a living wage making a point. They have a right. Tell the companies that swim in profits, off,,,,the back's of those making just enough,,,to stay hungry. While they buy sports teams, stocks, airplanes and have 5 or more fancy homes-mansions.
Most average people that are working any job 40 plus hrs or more,a week just want to feel they're able to pay all their bills, have reasonable transportation and food for the hours they're putting in. U know they're worth it or the boss would hire someone else.

Maybe because he was scorned, that he's fighting back. But even there, look at all the high position republicans that still won't talk up, that he has scorned as well.

Fox is no different than any network, they live by advertising. With shepherd Smith and Chris Wallace there, it brings in the liberal or independent watcher. People that don't sit on the phone or laptop watching utube, watch TV news and watchers are consumers. The more the merrier. That's what I think anyway. Like he said,, Trump brings in the audience. Audiences buy what the advertiser's are selling. Fox uses Trump as much as he uses them. He may not see that.
Some one quoted Kushner or T Jr this morning saying, Trump may not necessarily believe all the spew he puts out, but his base does. And that's why he spews it,,, to keep them in his corner. Does make some sense, if you're relying on people being behind you. I've often thought, Noone truly can be how Trump is, and be a relatively successful business man. Food for thought.

Big f,n deal 4 lousy months. I spent 90 days,,, in jail, for having a huge verbal argument with my wife, while out on bail for another verbal argument with my wife, over an affair. I did it, I admitted it in court, I was in the wrong. And I am very apologetic about it. It still hurts after 6 years of being good, affair over.
Point being, this sob did a treasonous act, and 4 lousy months? And basically 0 redemption, he'd do it again, and he still shouting foul. He needs 10 years.

Xrilliam7.62 Good points. No one in my past family ever owned a gun. I'm 65 and have never owned one. I don't quite have the concern of the Bolsheviks beating down my door and me having to shoot it out with them, as you kinda imply but I have felt the possible thought of having a gun in my adult life but seriously never found the need. Been in the army,, 4 months in Nam, helping evac,,but never shot anyone,, probably for the best. I totally agree we need solid background checks and periodic re evaluation. We do it for driver's licenses so how hard could it be. Also like drivers licenses , the period testing and evaluation would be a charge, to pay for it. Any illegal non registered weapons would be enrolled or confiscated if owner found to have any felony arrest. There are plenty of ways to have quality control of gun ownership without acting like a police state and saying no guns. It's so true there can be gun control and regulations without geeneral confiscations.

Mark Snow Hey Mark,. Thank you for your kind words. We know Trump signed,,the same type bill Republicans have given us for years. An," as you said", tax refund, that's temporary, while doing the old trickle down, bull tax breaks , for the already wealthy. And pays for the loss of rev, by cutting programs for needy, old folks benefits and anything else they don't deem necessary. I remember getting the refunds back when I wss young and struggling and thinking how great it was. But was too uninvolved, because I was struggling to just get by, supporting a family and just paying the bills. I didn't realize what was really happening. This was 40 years ago, when Trump was a younger rich punk, taking Russian money to fund casino s and phoney schools. I had no knowledge of him at all. Now the sleeze is in the White House, doing the same damn thing. I didn't vote back then, cause I thought my vote didn't really matter. Now I'm voting and after last election, kinda still wonder. But come November I'll be there, trying to get rid of my share of the republican machine. Thanks again Mark.

Well duhhh David, The acts of the administration, obviously, makes a difference in the reaction to the economy. So you're wrong in not giving credit to the particular president and his or hers, decisions. And, you're also not giving, proper blame, to the particular president for their, horrible decisions. You act like it's just, the way it is. Ups and downs. Like, you breathe in, its obvious, your going to breathe out. Like the economy is just a cycle, that happens no matter who's in charge. Then you turn around and say, if Romney had been elected and given tax breaks, things would have been different. And trump would have walked into a, not thriving economy. You, not giving credit where credit is due. Is ridiculous. Obama, Bill Clinton and Joe Biden. All three, inherited a shit economy. Worked to turn it around, period. Give credit where credit is due. Democrats, have had," policies", that fix the economy. Then Republicans, come in and destroy it. It's an obvious cycle. I'd be curious to see if we had a back to back Republican presidency. Then,we could test your claim.
2
-
Well what can you expect David. Our gov D Santos, is a Trump puppet, and Trump calls FLA his home now,,,,,uhhhhggg,, disgusting,,,but though we are predominantly Dems here,,we always end up with a republican State gov. Somethings up.

I do understand what you mean about conspiracies. The Kennedy assassination,,which I believe in but because of possible government folks or prominent people maybe involved,it was pretty much whitewashed. Same with 9,11. I'm suspicious about that too. But again, because government and multibillion dollar companies were or could have been involved,,that too was just thrown aside as ridiculous. I'm sorry but when it comes to underhanded things, I put nothing past money people, and our government folk. After all,, they're not impervious to crime,,as we are definitely finding out. I think conspiracies are definitely possible and go on all the time right under, we the people's,,noses.

Why is it that insurance companies can rake in billions in profits and still cover people, but we can't do that as a government run insurance or medicare for all type system? Insurance companies have billions in just profits,,,,it seems if the gov did it, not only would prices go down, due to quantity, but there would be profits to have on hand for the poor or homeless or emergencies. But no,,,the insurance companies have such a strangle hold on the law makers, with financial gifts, campaign money's etc. Once again, greed over treating the people right. It's no wonder we have Jan 6 type thoughts. People like trump, play on people's anger. Only difference is, he's one of the rich that use every gov loophole, so they get kickbacks from the same places.
We do really do need some changes made.

Oh and Kev. Everything Hillary was charged with, she sat through hours of investigation, q&a, answered every question and was found innocent of everything. Where as trump, lied, denied and pleaded the 5th so many times, it was a world record of 5ths plead in history. And that's when he agreed to show up. Kev, you're an ass. And the only reason you're the speaker is you sold your soul to the lowest of the low in Congress. And you donated your spine to DJT.

Hi David,,, I'm glad there are people out there airing the facts about our wonderful government and all the crap that goes on there. Only problem is, I've watched shows like Meet the Press, This Week. Listened to npr, progressive talk radio, etc since Ronald Reagan, and things never change. I mean after 8 years of George W; with all that happened with that administration, you'd almost think noone would vote or elect Republicans again,,but you see what's going on. Maybe it's just kismit or something, but life just seems to cycle we're always going to have , like 40%,, one side, 40, on the other and the rest the desiders. So we bounce back and forth between one set of governor s, and the other. Seems a large percentage of us are never really affected for the good or the bad,,and maybe that's why our country hasn't had a revolution of the people like some do.
We'll see Trump come and go, but the real screwups seem to go on and on. Thanks for your shows though,, keep it in up. 🖖

@Adam Jacobs You may be right about corporate greed, it's been getting worse instead of better. But I contribute it to the fact that we bounce back and forth between leadership and that the Senate, ruled by predominantly Republicans, namely Moscow Mitch McConnell, not allowing voting on very serious bills that may allow businesses to have their way. Trump boasted, America first, yet more businesses headed for overseas produce, manufacturing savings. All the while cost hikes here. If u recall, costs of appliances, automotives and much else, went up drastically, during his term. So don't go jumping on Obama. As for Clinton. He did want more products exchange and it did create price reduction, but for some reason it caused issues here in some ways. All I know is, during the Clinton terms, i did so much better than I ever have with my one man band remodeling business. Then during George W. I lost my ass. So please don't tell me its not better for average people, during a Dem presidency. I know from experience you're wrong about that.
PS. You're right about a country of fools. Look how many idiots seriously want a thug wannabe crook to be reelected. I totally agree with you there.

Though I agree, if immigrants, come here and want to practice their criminal behaviors here, they should be sent back from which they came. It better damn well be proven they have done what they're accused of, before ANYTHING, is done to arrest, detain , them. And there should not be any physical attack unless defending on someone defying or resisting. When you are arrested, you go and do not resist. You do, you're going to be put down. I do not think every immigrant is a criminal or a bad egg. But you cannot deny there are ones that think the laws don't apply to them. Just like djt. But if they are, personally I have no problem with so called guardians, helping the police. And using force if necessary. Like a citizens arrest, we all have the right of witnessing a crime, to call the suspect of it. I'm sorry David. Maybe you would walk away from a crime u witnessed, even shoplifting. Without saying a word. But that's not being a good citizen either. All it does is reinforce the criminal to repeat the crimes.
You cannot, be down on djt, and then ignore another criminal. But if this guy did nothing wrong. Why did he resist?

I cannot believe this person, Trump, has made it this far in life without being made to pay for his behaviors. He's actually stolen from people's in every walk of life. And now he's doing it to the whole of the United States, amongst other countries. And has the attitude,, he's fine. He absolutely has no shame. Every movie I've ever watched with a character like him, at soom point he gets his just deserts. Trump is 71,72, whatever,,and has done this same thing since he began his adult life. I guess that shows, money has it's on set of rules. I'm disgusted.

Oh come on,,,, if these people are supposedly super religious,, they must be mentally retarded hypocrites. No true religious person could find Trump in any way a Godly person. It's got to be financially based, of which so much phoney religion is accepted. There is no way Trump is a true religious person. If you think so and follow him for religious reasons,, you're a total wack job. And while I'm at it. I'm as sick of this newly founded calling of, " progressive", as I was the tea party bullshit. This is just more trendy yuppie crap label. The tea party, ended up being the college yuppie ivy league preppy conservatives. Calling themselves, tea party-ists, for some ladeda club members, look. Now the high falooting dems, want to claim a place on the runway, with their yuppie club. Everybody has a little conservative blood and liberal blood. No one is conservative or liberal, all the time. We need to strive for that happy medium or we'll sure as hell have our downfall.

@Future-pg6tg 😂🤪🤣, You just gotta be shitten me. This White House cant make a speech without realizing a teleprompter? Do you really watch Trump when he speaks? Or where you just so blatantly hypnotized with swamp admiration for his idiotic knowledge of,,,, absolutely nothing?
First off,,,they all have prompters. Not many speakers can do a speech without them because of facts that have to be specific and to make sure what they say, when heard by the world,,,are spot on.
My god. Trump mangled more speeches than any other president, probably in history. But u put this on Democrats.
I agree, some of the utube news analyzers, go a bit far when talking about trump. But its nothing compared to what republican bashers do to president Biden. Or any of the other Dem presidents.

William Webber Hey Mr prejudice. That dude was only nominated by Obama. He was ushered in by almost all of Congress,,both sides of the isle. Regulations were a dozen times more ridgid under Obama. There's always gonna be a paid off inspector,,or a glitch in a system that under normal circumstances are 100%. Metal shards in ice cream, spinach with crap attached. Things do happen. But,,you don't decrease the standards to remedy the problem. I mean Trump bragging about deregulating things? Noone said Obama was perfect,,even himself,,but at least he didn't live by the motto,,,I don't need to prepare.

The Progressive Voice Do we really think Trump has, any,,, involvement in the creation of any ,plan, program or bill? He flies by the seat of hos enormous butted pants. While others do the head work. He's a glorified used car salesman that sells to people that know no better. His knowledge of most things is so shallow that if he can't sell you in the first 10 minutes, he'll move on. He has one dedicated thing going for him. Positive thinking and the sucker born every minute,, school of con. I doubt he knows enough about finance or anything ,to help write a plan.

@vandutch4220 You are right that younger people get too caught up in the on line, life. When you watch kids today and many older people too, they're glued to the phones. And yes, they get bombarded by criticisms if they're the underdog, therefore feelings can be damaged terribly. Sometimes social media is more a curse, than a benefit. It's all in the eye of the beholder though as well. If you take it too seriously, the effect can be serious. We really need to talk to our kids more these days,,,especially about their self worth and individuality. That following the crowd, is not always the way to go. Of course leading by example is the best way to go as well. We don't, always.

John Collins I kinda like the agnostic word or meaning more than atheist. Guess I'd rather leave it up to dying,,to find out. Religion shouldn't have anything to do with common decency. Why should people only be nice or compassionate towards,,all life? I guess,,just cause they fear a God's rath, if they don't.
Don't quite understand your feelings about learning the others beliefs, so you can counter them, when like say Trump for example,,says totally one thing,,, even now,, but does another? How do you prepare for a fight so to speak,, when the opponent talk's outta both sides of their mouths?

vargonian I'm sure he does. Not sure exactly if religious views curb his ideals. He seems purely political,, leaning more towards progressive verses conservative but we all have some of both in us,,alot of our final,,, feelings?,,depend on so many different factors. I hate to lump people into groups, because in every group you have differences. An open mind definitely helps us grow. Trashing people at every turn, when they don't agree with your ideals gets us nowhere. I'm truly glad when i do see ,, conversation on these comment sections as opposed to, disgusting name calling and hatred.

I still say, jacking up the minimum wage will just be past on to the consumer. Because business won't absorb that difference, they'll just raise prices and that 15 an hour still, won't be enough. Plus,,, what about people who have worked hard, their way up too,,, 15 an hour? Then some nubie walks in making the same. Do we all get a salary increase, to compensate for those people with no experience, walking in making the same as a seasoned worker. Think about it.

Trumps not going to have dinner with ordinary people. Unless you have a camera and are going to publicize nation wide. Trumps, game,,,is Brand. The trump name. And now unfortunately, the media has given him so much free publicity. And this is what he craves. There's an old saying. Even bad publicity is good publicity. So unless he's convicted of something where he goes to prison, probably not,,,this whole, after his term,,, bullshit,is great for the trump brand. Disgusting.

@GenerationX1984 I,like u,, am prone to using the word," stupid", when thinking of people lately. Till I got in an argument with my sister about why she approves of trump. We went round and round, till she said, why do u think I think trump is a better choice, and I said cause she's stupid. She told me to leave her house and though I knew what said was wrong,,,,i left, but did apologize as i left. All her life she's been an A-- B, student in school, where I ran C,s D,s and f,s. So I knew or know, it's not smarts that put people in these mindsets. She's not like a trump's a god,, Trumper. She's fully vaccinated, she pretty much masks when she has to. No making mocking comments about mask wearing. But, she said she would not watch Biden speeches, hes not her president. Just crazy stuff. Hell, I knew what trump was from the start. But he was the president, by election standards as they are. I accepted it.
I know many very, smart,, people that are fine with trump. Then there are the nuckledraggers, mouth breahers, that follow him blind too. Same with the vaccine. Very smart people are against it,,,so are many,,not so smart.
I'm not sure what the answer is, but being smart or not,,, isn't it.

@qjtvaddict So true. They may have their internal divisions, but power and money is a great motivater for togetherness. They'll dump the weak links, like they did with Cheney and some others. But the truly disgusting ones will kiss arse, to stay in the gang. Look at Romney. Fell apart like a cheap suit, just to keep his seat.
Seems in politics, evil has a leg up over good. Ruthless vs kindness,,,. Play dirty vs doing the right thing. We can only hope we have a repeat of 2020, and enough voters show and put evil down, again.

@billycarson The whole state? Abit much on that one. Mitch McConnell alone, or with help from other neorightwing mongering sobs. But the state,,,, doubtful.
What is weird is, we constantly hear how McConnell is so despised in Kentucky,,,yet he keeps getting reelected. That,,, I don't understand.
2
-
2
-
@billycarson Sure nuff. Him and all his friends and family need a federal time out in my opinion. But with the way the rich have gotten over everywhere, not just the US, it'll probably never happen.
As for him becoming chancellor of America, or dictator or whatever. You're probably right in the fact that even Republicans won't be cool with that little nugget, because we all have seen, in real monarchies like Russia or NK, etc,,,anyone is fair game if you show any pushback of the leaders wishes. Hell, trump proved that just in his first and hopefully only term. He basically built a gang, dedicated to him alone in his cabinet. And anyone said anything negative,,,see ya later sucker.
If the 80 plus million peeps that got Biden over the top, stay in the game,,we probably don't have to worry. My concern is, Biden probably won't run again cause of his age,,and as of now, there's no one in the bullpen thats popular enough. And too, I think Americans, for majority,,,are sick of trump. Only the diehards will go for him, and with the bad publicity he's getting now, that number should drop off too.
Cross fingers and vote blue, no matter who.
As for prison time for frump,,,50/50.

@redrick8900 I'm done. You never accept my whole point of my initial comment. Maybe it's the 2to1 republican voters in Kentucky that keep reelecting McConnell then. I don't know. But I'm thru trying to get u to see that my beef is with McConnell, not Kentucky. That's all. My jab at Kentucky voters, that reelect him, was strictly a possibility from what I've heard. Just like Manchin, cept he's in the House,,he says he's for the betterment of his constituents. Yet it seems he votes with McConnell in the Senate, on what Biden is trying to do to get benefits, that for years, have been tabled by McConnell everytime it comes up,,that would help low to middle income folks. So he's on many peoples, shit list, as well.
I've worked as a carpenter since I got out of the army. Hard, backbreaking work, but never a good income job. My feelings are, the income should reflect the knowledge and the life expectancy of a job. Yet who makes 99% of all the money? Administration. People, for most part, that never swung a hammer. Or dug a ditch,or even had a callus. Yet make 10 times the people who do. And more. And who stands up for those, administrators keeping their high wage? People like McConnell and Manchin. And along with them giving the wealthy better tax cuts and allowed control over their workers, they dip into social programs to pay for those cuts, or try to. Thats my angle. Why are we constantly reelecting people that seem to try really hard to keep the worker, starving.

He s always been bailed out all his life by daddy and never got nabbed in all his shady deals as well. So his Teflon nickname is so damn true.
And now the puppetmasters have gotten him into the most top seat in the gov and are using his arrogant rich boy silver spoon personality to cover will they get things to their liking. He is nothing if not the showman,,,but his true arrogance is what saves him. Every dang time we think he's depressed or down? It's bullshit. He knows he's protected. If he gets kicked,, he's got all the new leaders of these countries that he's allowed to benefit from his supposed ignorance of their wrong doing. Unless he's imprisoned,, he'll walk away laughing at the system and go right back to sticking his name on stuff. But now has four years of publicity to boost his name. Remember, even bad publicity is good publicity. Sad huh. And his devil seed children follow in his foot prints learning his game. Always deny everything.

These people wasted MILLIONS, in their obvious loss or advertising for jobs in the next trump administration, should he win in '24. Desantrump blew at least 100 million, all by himself. I'd be so ashamed of the blown millions of dollars these numbnuts gave to advertising, luxury private jets and lodging. Including, a trip to China, Desantrump took in a private jet. Probably a billion dollars easy, spent, knowing damn well they weren't going to beat out, dumpy trump. Insanity. All those dollars, that could have fed every poor American for a year. Burned away, by people telling us, they would be conservative financially, if they were president.
2

Yeah but who's fault is that? Every,,,,, republican stood firm on the big,,,,NO!, to any investigation council.
2
-
@crystaltelf288 Yes, it takes time to arrange anything in the Congress, but the Dems wanted an investigation right after it happened, but as usual the Republicans in the Senate said they would Not,,,vote for a committee because there was already several individuals looking into it. The ball goes back and forth and that uses up time. The Republicans are masters of wasting time, when it comes to anything, Dems want. But voting in their nominations for the courts,,,swish through the red tape.

@rlsedition The marches, or riots,ur words, were run to contest the obvious murder of George Floyd. They were standing and protesting the lack of penalties paid, by police that go overboard when dealing with mostly black, accused criminals. No matter the crime.
January 6rh was an attack on peaceful Congress folks, doing their job. Instigated by DjT and others. Including other members of his family and orher congress members, bent on turning over a legal vote. To get rid of scumbags like Trump, his family and cohort's. And,,,,,dummy. People died there too.

tony simonsen Actually I'm more a middle of the roader. I'd like the world to just get along. And if religion would help do that,, that'd be great. But seems it causes as much hate as it does love. The reason I look or would hope,, there is a devine, "Spirit"?, I guess,,is to help straighten out our messes,,we certainly don't seem to care what the hell we do to our environment,,our friends,,,etc, as long as we get what we want. You could say I'm kinda wishing there truly was a Superman, and other superheroes to help make things better.
People really do need a reason to,,live,, other than for their own wants,,and religion has done that for more people than less. That's why it's lasted as long as it has. Unfortunately so many have used it to make fortunes for themselves. My wife always says,, don't discuss, politics or religion. You'll never win. I think she's right. VOTE!

Nobody with any decency, goes over, grabs his friends dads rifle with killer ammo, full mag and who knows how much extra ammo, and gets mommy, another thinking person,,,to drive him miles away to get into it with protesters, with the weapon cocked and ready, without knowing what he wanted to do. He sat in court, grinning and cocky, talking with the lawyer, knowing he'd probably get away with killing 2 people and seriously injuring another. And now he jockularly, laughs with the right wing nut bag taking head story grabbing Fox flakes. He's doing exactly what anyone with foresight thought he would. My condolences to all the parents of those kids and anyone killed.
The apathy is caused by tbe statistics of shootings, multiple or singular, verses how many shootings there aren't. It's like, my street is 25 mph,,but they, won't put in speed bumps unless there are exactly so many people hit by people doing 45 . The number of gun owners that never have an issue outweighs the one's that happen a thousand to one,,so, they don't take it seriously. Like in war,,how many people have to die before,, collateral damage isn't acceptable.
There are probably thousands of assault type weapons out there. One or so a year situations happen, so they figure why should a whole sociaty suffer, cause of one, two,,three , a dozen incidents happen. That's how they justify it.
Something needs to be adjusted. But don't know how much it'll stop people who lose it and go on these sprees. I remember where gunmen had a bag of handguns and did the same thing. I don't have a gun. Well paint gun,,no bullet firing gun or weapon. But I haven't felt that threatened in my life to justify having one. Many do.
Cars are weapons too but we can't say,, don't have a big one cause it can do more damage if you go bonkers and drive into a mall or church. It is a tuff call,as to where we draw lines to protect innocent people from other people looking to harm others .
Once again though,, My sincere condolences to parents and and others that have a loved one killed here in FLA or anywhere. I know there's tons of caring people that grieve right along with you.

@morwaze Yeah, just because they argue like highschool girls over who's gonna date the quarterback. Doesn't mean I want them to, knuckle under, to the bully pulpit. But I'd rather them do it using intelligence. That's exactly why Joe Biden is polling lower than hoped. So many voters, have this, everything has to be, a sports match. Loud mouth djt, boasted and raved his way through a horrible term. And with all his loud, boisterous, ranting. Nothing got accomplished. Just like the child's play in the house. Our lives, is not a game. And that is the responsibility of our law makers. Not frat name calling and pillow fights. Mtg sticks her size 12 foot in her mouth at every turn. Shes digging her on grave. Miss Crocket has done really well, using her brain, to combat Greene and others. She truly doesn't need to get involved in a cat fight like Greene and Boobert had a way back. It shows more ignorance than guts.

@heythere4970 Well why can't locals create their own businesses? I'm sure there are intelligent natives, that could manage or run a business or three. I'm also talking agriculture, and other things as well. Like Mexico or other limited financially distressed,,cept for drugs and soap operas and limited TV actors,,,if there were more opportunities to have jobs and a decent life, they wouldn't have to worry about crashing the borders and risking everything to escape the lives they hate. Almost seems their own government wants them to be poor and downtrodden. I don't know. But however it happens,, people are just more proud if they have a means to make a decent life for their families or even just for themselves. It has to start somewhere.
1

@heythere4970 Thats some of the sadness, is the low wage. And ur dang right about exploitation of the poorer countries peoples. That's why I wish they could have, Their own,, businesses and companies. So big outside outfits swoop in,,build big factories and pay cheap labor prices for hard work. When companies make enormous profits and there are people earning only several dollars a day actually working,,,in those factories,,,that stinks. Obviously it makes for lower prices,,,but at what cost?
1
-
@heythere4970 From bottom to top,,, Right,, considering our new president if not being crooked and almost admitting it and being such a constant reminder of what we don't want in a president, has definitely brought light on crime and neglect in government. By being the perfect example of thuggery in power,, he's definitely made us take a look at things.
You're sure right that 5 bucks a day is better than no bucks a day and that was my whole meaning that the home country government allowing it's people to be almost slave like to big US and other nations businesses. No doubt while the government gets tidy sums to allow it.
And I'm sure working conditions are fair enough. After all, there are rules of business that have to be followed. Obviously there is no minimum wage laws in those countries, but the businesses probably have to have working conditions be adequate by US and even other countries laws of business. But hell, what do we expect when even here in US, businesses hate,, paying people more, than less if government didn't step in and create some laws of pay.

You fool yourself if you think most of us out here don't see him for exactly what he is, a moron liar thug wannabe, that has the Republicans dancing around, kissing his lard ass because he plays their games, if they suck his prick well enough. Unfortunately the Republicans, way before rump,,, have been conniving and silently rigging the system to also play the game, their way, so it is very hard make evidence count when the jury is paid off. Up until the house got reversed and Pelosi,,, who knows the game as well as goiter McConnell,,, gets in their faces and slows the advance. That's why goiter man got so pissed and lost his reaper cool. This illness is helping take down the underhanded ways of McConnell and he hates it. Cause rump will always play to his own advantage and goiter boy may lose the power a bit.
Second,,, I wouldn't be printing up any Rump, Pence 2024 hats just yet. It ain't over till it's over. Many undecided folk know trump now,,, for what he truly is,,,,

If the business owner gets the big tax cut, enough to invest in his business, he may hire a few more workers, to increase productivity to get more products out for sale,,to make the business get more income,,but,,that doesn't help the workers he already has, cause they never see an increase in their pay. That stinks.

The reports are daily proof and open. Noone needs to make it up. If anything the actual numbers are probably even higher. To some people that just don't care, spreading it is just fine, long as they don't get it , or they do but it doesn't hit them hard. I'll admit, I'm not a big,,,the docs are always right,,,fan. But at 68, I'm concerned and don't want anyone to get it, just cause I wanna go to the bars, beaches and get a hair cut. What's wrong with people they can't be just doing essential s for several months. David, don't you know by now that if Trump doesn't admit it,,it didn't happen. Sex romps, crooked deals. Whatever it was, he says it's not so,, it's not so. Remember his belief,,if you say something enough, people will believe it. How many years has this man and his family lived like royalty while in his wake he's left others holding the bag. Sued hundreds of times. In scandals, who knows how many times. Now 73,,,and still pulling it off. I totally question if he'll pay for any of the crap he's done as president. And will make millions on a book and maybe even a movie, after it's all over. Hell,if there was anyone that didn't know his name before,, everyone will when it's all said and done. His greatest play yet,,and he'll grin a shit eating grin,,as he walks outta the White House. Disgusting.

@Liftheavyrustylbs Hobo, If we stay the course, and vote, and make sure everyone votes, we can still hold what we have. A slim majority, to stand up to the crooked minority. If they get their feet in the door again, we'll be right back to their control and further chaos in government again. Meaning another brainless Trump style administration. Made for use by right wing powers that be.
They want to make fun of us for believing in conspiracies. But that's exactly what goes on. Small, super rich, hiding in the shadows, spending whatever it takes to fund the campaigns of anyone that has the, trump touch. Calling on the masses of people who will follow,if the words are what they want to hear. And people like Rump, Green, even wannabes like Matt Geits, Cruz, etc. Get on the stage and rile the followers to hate the media, the Dems and any republican, that stand for truth, over bullshit. We have to win out. Vote! Thanks Hobo.

The problem is, there's always like 40% of right thinkers and the same on the left. Always voting the party. The rest are the deciders. If as in this election the deciders are enough swayed by something someone shows or says,,thats all folks.
When Obama won,, the problem was the right,, Congress,,hated something about him,, therefore now we see most all he accomplished is being made moot by an arrogant big baby and the same Congress that hated Obama for 8 years.
What needs to happen is not getting rid of trump,,but vote in as many democratic as possible to balance the Congress. Then Trump's power would be truly muzzled.

All I can say is, anyone who just adores Alex Jones, ain't all there. And can anyone tell me why all these," conservative", women, have the Tammy Faye Baker look? I thought conservative meant, wholesome, average lady type. At least in females. Yet it's almost always the over make-up and hair tinting they choose. Also, aren't conservative women, supposed to be, in the background. Taking care of their homes and their children? Isn't it the liberal, progressive, lefty women, speaking out, making names for themselves? All these strange idiosyncrasies, these supposed," very conservative," women show is a bit odd.

We do it,,,why should we be shocked anyone else does too. I mean look what it did around the world and no one,,, other than the developer s,,, admits its one of theirs. Including us. Imagine if this was actually an honest attack. All we were doing was worrying about the pandemic and lot's of in house shit happened. Food and other necessities, horded to the point of extinction. People dying more, from just the virus and related illnesses. Who knows what could have happened if it was more serious? Accidental?

I just watched the video of the shooting in NJ. Trump gets on TV and does the most heartless, robotic statement supposedly showing sentiment and praising the cops that risk their lives to stop the killers. Do we think the situation had anything to do with the hatred he spews from his butt mouth,, while screaming hate to the media, hate to the democrats, double hate to the FBI and other officials, then trying to brag how great local police are. Hmm, does this sound like divide and conquer. Using the little praised army of a few local cops here and there,,to get behind him when needed.
And the Republicans in the senate and house play, hear no evil. The man is Insane a complete pig. My apologies to pigs everywhere.

People were so concerned about her in case McCain couldn't for some reason do his job, but now we have a male version of Palin as president,,,,. Never say never.

But if more people than not, get paycheck's or unemployment or another 1200 dollar check,as promised, and people are making what they would be working, why would they not pay the bills? If my company keeps giving me my pay, even though I'm not working,,why shouldn't I pay bills as usual? If you're getting paid, but not working,,,that pay is,,,for normal life needs. Not to go out and buy a big screen, so staying home is a pleasure.
And the 1200, or whatever you get is supposed to do the same,,,not splurge money, it's an aid to cover what u might earn. We tax payers are inevitably giving us money to pay bills and food while we're not working. This is the thing about Bernie's programs that many don't see. He will have to raise taxes to pay for all that stuff you think the gov is handing you cause now they're so generous. Sure, he'll raise taxes on the wealthy too,but it's not enough. If free college cost 500,000,000 more,to pay for, than now,,that money has to come from somewhere.taxes. wealthy folk will only go so far,for they start hiding their money, like Trump. Do you think the IRS, doesn't try getting money out of the wealthy? They find so many loophole's it's pityfull.
Anyway,,,,These checks and the businesses paying worker's to be off, are for bills and household costs. Cause like David said, your landlord ,bank, loan office, knows you're getting money to be home. Pay the bills or when it's all over, you're going to owe it all,and be hurting.

Until the Republicans actually try to impeach Biden, I don't even think twice about anything,,, Fox and friends , newsmax, all the right wing giggling goons say. I don't even watch them in the first place, but when you guys show them, that's when I don't think twice about their insanity. The reign of the orange idiot is over. They miss his freak tweet's and comments and are grasping at straws to try to put Biden and his 65% favoritism down. Trump never shared that popularity. Hmmm, wonder why? If he was so well loved.
When you think about it, the Republicans and trump, ran a minority rule government.
Snicker on, Fox and friends hosts. While you snicker, the majority of us are laughing at you.

Alex Henley You make a lot of good points. My thought is government is there to be representative of people in their districts etc. Obviously we all can't go to Washington and speak up individually, so we elect, supposed, trustworthy people to speak on the majority s behalf right? They are supposed to be servant's of ours, not our ruler's, I think. Republican or Democrat,,they are supposed to work as a team to do what's best for ALL, Americans Seems the problem is, a minority,,the wealthy,, have obviously more ability to influence the way our supposed,,reps, to do things that benefit the few, verses the many.. example, the recently forced,,yes forced budget. So,, I guess it's easy to see why the Republicans seem to show favoritism to the wealthy, no matter how little actually ever trickle's down to the working stiffs. I agree the system is a mess. We need fair, unimpeachable people working in our government. My opinion is that's where the problems lay. We have millions of smart honest people in the country that could be in government and get us on the right track,,and yet all that happens is lopsided turmoil. I think it's the human factor. Most of us can be swayed by money, can we say Koch brothers? I wonder if it'll ever get better.

tcliverpool Damn straight. Your right,, people have short memories. Mostly because the true working class are too dang busy trying to make ends meet, to really feel raised by either party,, right up until their jobs are gone,, which usually takes a few years,,by then as you say,,the fat cats wallet's are overflowing. It's a non stop cycle.

Alex Henley Wow,,I couldn't read all your comment after so many paragraph s, I got the feeling,, no one s your prime candidate choice. I believe we need to vote in a perfect balance of Dems and repubs. So that we can have at worst,a tie of votes on policies. Then maybe let the supreme Court decide not the vice president be the tie breaker. I mean look who's there now. Our votes only count if we,,weigh the pros and cons. Sorry, but though many were skeptical of Hillary, she was better than the bozo the con,,in there now.. Most people knew the Congress was going to be controlled by Republicans,, it's only fair to at least have a non republican in the white house. Now we're on the Verge of dictatorship. Even if Trump goes now, Pence is on deck to carry out the trend.
1
-
Alex Henley Hey Alex,,On Hillary,,have to agree to disagree. I think she got kinda the bums rush on blame for the uranium dealings and it was spun to show her to be some kind of sneaky underhanded criminal.
Trump on the other hand had dozens of shady, sleezy failed and successful for him , obviously crooked dealings in his distant and recent past. How can any thinking person believe he would suddenly change his spots and become honest Abe and fight for anyone but himself. He fought the most ruthless demeaning campaign. Practically called every politician an ass, republican and democratic alike and swore he was for just the underdog average Joe and Mrs Joe. We see now that was bullshit. But even as uneducated as I am scholastically, I saw through his crap during the campaign. He's an arrogant, pompous rich boy that fumbled his way , with daddy's help to be an arrogant, pompous rich dufuss con man.
We,as many, agree government needs better ,more honest, considerate people in it,,but honestly it seems to attract people that allow themselves to be lobbied and used by money and power. Therefore are just puppets of the rich.(Kosh),,. Seems it's been this way for many many years though,,our generation has no Monopoly on sleeze. Just like crime and everything else,,more population means more of everything. Thanks for the banter.

I think shes saying which is what I see too. Maybe you don't, because maybe you either don't look, or your lifestyle doesn't take your daily drives into street intersections where homeless or at least jobless frequent.
I live in Tampa Florida, and people are always...out on many intersections asking for money. I'm assuming they are homeless, not sure. Some have signs, " homeless". Some don't. But they all ask for money.
And she is correct. It's predominantly white or black persons.
I believe the Hispanics take care of each other, or they're getting government aid. Where the white or black homeless people either don't want help. Or they are afraid to ask for help, from government anyway. I'm not sure.
In my neighborhood, we have many houses that when sold, Mexican families bought these homes. Then they turn into multi family homes. There are sometimes 8 or more cars or trucks in a 2 car yard. Along with their owners living 10 or more in a 2 and 3 bedroom houses.
This i know for fact. I see it every day.
And I see people asking for change, every time I go almost anywhere.
So David, I don't know where you live. But obviously it's not where they are. 30:23

My sister still believes Trump passed the veterans choice bill. Between fox and other right wing liars, so many people that are relatively intelligent, are pulled in to the lies, and believe them whole heartedly. Trump has some kind of,,,,,, magnetism,,,?, that draws certain types in. Then the right wing liars take over. Insane.

Come on David,,,,we the people can only affect we have is every 2 years. We elect supposed representatives to speak on our behalf. All these reps have to do is read comments on shows like yours and others. There are im sure people with more political drive than me that write their reps,,,they are voices we elect to make our thoughts known. Like u said, the repubes do nothing to curb Trump's idiocy and the Dems seem to be sleeping. I'll tell you. If in November we get a majority in the house or Senate or both and they still do nothing,,,,then I'm just shutting down my utube listening of politics and saying to hell with it. People in my income bracket hardly feel it no matter whos in power. If I didn't care what Trump is doing to the honor of the office,,i wouldn't even care. When you've lived below 50thou a year your whole working life, things don't change that much anyway. When i get in a reasonable dispute about Trump with a pro Trump commenter, the only point sometimes can finish with is,,, he's at minimum,,an embarrassment to us as a country. And needs to be gone,,,just for that fact. Cause if the economy is okay,,,,he does try to communicate with other leaders,,so keeping us out of a war,, George W.,,, Than what else can i say. I don't know. Vote Democrats in November.

Personally, I think he does the wide screen, ,,look at me, I'm rich and famous,,,speech crap, to show off and I also wonder if that's part of what many people that love him is why they do. They think, a man like that, with all his riches has to be speaking the truth. Why would he lie.
I think part of his appeal to them. There has to be something. It's certainly not what he's actually done for anyone of them. It's a definite quandary.

David,,We have to put something on a father that just months ago watched the parkland incident on TV. Do adults not think that putting guns in access of his kids just months later is something not,,,smart? Also do parents not talk to their kids any more, asking how they are feeling, doing, what's going on in school? The signs have to be there that children are so angry they would kill their classmates and whomever else gets in the way. Also according to some kids, he made eye contact with some and didn't shoot? Something is wrong. Guns are just adding to the results. And not for the best,as usual.

Marie Lastname As I understand it,,with Germany, they weren't allowed to have their own military after the war, so American bases were set up in part to protect them as a country from outside attack and also to aid in reconstruction, and make sure no lingering Nazi types tried to recall the charge. My thought is when we call these countries allies,, having bases there aids them and us in a quick response to any bordering lands that may posess threatening advances towards those countries or THE US. Why in turn, they don't have troops here as well,,,. Probably us being us. Just my opinion.

Xrilliam7.62 Hate to say it but unless it was very strict control,,your right. Because any gun gives a person that has issues,,a sense of power. And you don't have to truly confront someone,, you can feel powerful from 10 ft away. Banning assault type weapons accept to maybe collector's? Maybe as one person said, a yearly evaluation of people that own weapons? But things can happen suddenly. A person that's normally peaceful has a fight with his friend, wife, kids. Gets really po,ed and grabs the pistol. . Hell cops, law enforcement in general,, train's in proper use and look at incidents with arrests,,just general shooting s. How do regular citizens have the responsibility to never grab a gun in anger..

Every one laughed and Trump felt disrespected and was pissed. So yes,,it works,,but,,,it has to be timed exactly. Trump s style of disrespect, gets no acknowledgement in a positive way except for his mouth breather ,knuckle dragging base.

Khomiko ow I would never,, expect any billionaire, millionaire to,,give up,,,all their wealth. Hell, Bill Gates donates millions to causes, etc. I just want millionaire s, billionaire s, to pay all the taxes they owe without millions in tax exemptions and the like. It's been proven that if the extra wealthy payed what they owed, it would settle the national debt. But they don't. Exec's get millions in bonuses. The workers get peanuts. Don't give me this crap that every business owner, shares his or hers, profits with the help. That's a pure crock.
1
-
Khomiko ow What you're not understanding in my rant is,, if the millionaire s paid their taxes,,in whole,,that money would pool with the rest of tax dollars, to aid hunger and homelessness. I'm not saying the rich give all their money away to the poor. Just saying pay your dues to the pot of already existing tax dollars,,then maybe we wouldn't owe the Chinese, a bazillion bucks.
1
-
Khomiko ow exactly. Also,,not everyone wants a medium home in Georgia,,just a hand up to a sustainable life. The extra money into the economy would boost it. It may be the splurge a lot of people need to make it in life. But no,,we bail out the already wealthy. The banks,,auto manufacturer's,etc. And what do they do? Make more loans at 20 to 50% interest,,and the greed flows again.
1
-
1
-
Khomiko ow I have always believed that there should be some kind of cap or restrictions on prices of,,, necessities? Gas,food, rent, health care, etc. That way the profits wouldn't be so extreme,, creating the billionaire s. Maybe if the CEOs,and other administration could live within a lower,,,richness?,, Then the fairness of income would be more livable for the average guy. Studies have shown that income for the rich has gone way up in the last 50 years. While the medium and lower pay scale has floundered.

Pat Doyle Well,,that is the old adage,if you give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day,if you teach him to fish, he'll eat for a lifetime. No one is denying that, but there's more than that, that makes it in todays world. We are turning out millions of college grads to thousands of jobs. Businesses know this and the pay is still going to be limited. My daughter is a very intelligent college educated high school teacher. She lives in Chicago making around 70,000 a year. She's got tenure but still only earns that. She works about 60 to 70 hours a week. Do the math. Chicago is an expensive place to live so that's not a fortune. It's not all drive and education,,but it helps. It's just not the total answer.
1
-
Khomiko ow Oh,,no sir. I have lived the same. I am a carpenter for 45 years now. We lived in a two bedroom apartment with my wife,my son my daughter and every other winter her two children from another marriage for 12 years. I know poor. I finally built our house in 1987. Still poor. But finally got a lump of money from my parents in law,,bought a lot and took a loan to build my house,, myself. Still poor. Sure there are many others worse off and i know it. Now i work as i can and am trying for my social security,,i know poor. I worked and my kids worked to pay their college. My daughter is smart so she got a little scholarship help but worked every summer at school to help. Trust me my friend,,we know poor. But we also knew help. That's why I get on these utube things and share my voice. You are so right that people need to work together to hopefully get our government to get on the ball,,,help the needy and share the wealth,,not hord it or waste it.
Sounds like you have help if really needed,,so not feeling too bad for you. Though i know pride makes u a bit humble. But if your parents are well off as u say, someday you're ship will come in. As i did when my parents in law gave us 12,000 and we bought a lot.

No David, you saying it to your watchers DOES, change the ideas in people's minds. Why? Because it's the GD VOTERS!!, who win or loose a race. And if you, and other," analysts", pepper the minds of voters with doubt, it places that doubt, in yet more voters who are not sure. Therefore giving more ammunition to the ones calling for Joe to step aside. From all polls I see, it's still a 50 50 race. It's been a 50 50 bouncing ball for a year. Then came the crazy debate. Then all the ski is falling, chicken shit dems, started crying.
Maybe, instead of your, overly dramatic reporting, ya get on board with POSITIVE, talk. But of course, you want to be able to say, see , I was right. There are a few channels that are doing just that. And us, nobodys out here appreciate that. We have Joe's back. If he loses, it'll be the fault of the hundreds of doubting Thomases out there. If he wins, you and others can eat crow. And possibly lose a lot of money in subs dumping your show. From what I see, VOTERS,by a majority, want Joe Biden. But I'll tell you one thing, if people like you and others, force him, to lose faith in himself, and he steps aside and the replacement loses to trump. You can be ashamed of only yourselves and the Dem party will slump itself in backing by the American people.

Sounds to me he just overcompensating for being a nerd as a youth or unloved as same. Prime Trump follower. That or he uses this behavior as a gimmick for his show. Like the talking heads at fox. They probably don't believe what they say, alot, but the schtick brings in the audience. Constant cussing and chain smoking. But he's not stupid. His mind is constantly working. I've known people just like him. Usually the behavior burns then out fast. Remember how Robbin Williams behaved during interviews, always wired.
And his F Biden poster behind him is just another example of overkill. Biden has been nothing if not generous , soft spoken, mild manored. Why F. Biden? Trump is the total opposite but he loves him.
He says, I loved being a sponsor for a youth, yet trump is the total opposite of that too, but he still loves him.
Bottom line is, he's a hyper, intelligent person that had issues while growing up and he is overcompensating now. There's a chromosome missing or extra going on.

And yeah, I can't remember the last time I shopped at Tiffany's was,,,,never. I work for a living.
This guy is far,far gone and so far out of touch.
And I so agree, we MUST, get it on in the mid term. If not, you may as well give up on much of Bidens aid for the average American. The Republicans will sit on everything until 2024. Then they can make Biden look like a do nothing president. And he is not.

Hey David and Pat,,I go to Papa John's periodically and pizza hut and little ceasers. Also been to the ladada, local private places,, I'm sorry but I like pizza with,,,stuff,,,on it. Not just a crust with a spread of Olive oil and dash of cheese, with one or two pepperoni s or pieces of beef or even veggies thrown on for color. I m guessing by local, thats what you mean? The little corner shop that charges 18 bucks for a 12 inch crust dashed with hardly any ingredients. Sorry,, that's not a pizza. Papa John's,or Pat's Domino's, are chains. But doesn't mean their ingredients are second rate. David, I truly appreciate your show because you do your homework and like you, I think Trump is an ass and doesn't belong in the White House. But i guess my Timex, pizza hut, Walmart lifestyle doesn't jive with yours. When you constantly talk about traveling abroad,,and your more uppity lifestyle,,you kinda lose your connection with us more planted people.

Dems should NOT, be complacent in 2022. Get out and vote like it's your life, if you don't. If the Republicans get back either or both house and senate, Bidens chance of making any real headway will be shot. Vote blue please!
Remember, when trump boasts all his accomplishments, it's bullshit.
Biden may not have gotten done everything, everyone wanted,,,,look what the hell he was handed, and see how the Republicans have pushed back on everything,,,, Biden wanted to do. U too David.

I do agree David, that so far, science can't prove or disprove the ability of people to have certain gifts of connection to another,,,,plain,,, I guess. @winterain17 Totally understand. But I hooe you agree that many cover-ups are conspiracy in the works. Because as it's known,,a conspiracy only takes more than one person,,and somtimes many,," conspiring", to do something. It's not that unusual. The only time it is white washed, is when powerful people are involved.
My examples were the Kennedy assassination, and 9-11, because there were many,,, suspicions,,but because it would have involved government officials and maybe secret connections with known crime or even financial justification, it get thrown out as ridiculous theory, and then melts away outta the limelight. I live by the famous words of Fox Mulder,,when he said, " Question everything". Many people in high places don't like those words. And we little people with no power, don't phase them. Too bad people in law making, don't keep those words close. Maybe we'd have a better government.
1
-
@winterain17 True except we the people don't have much control over whether or not real conspiracies are ever followed up. So in that case, we aren't always,,ok. I know we supposedly elect people to speak on our behalf,,but as it stands,,many of us have no, real,,voice.

Red Carvette Problem is its not all Republicans or just Republicans. There are several democrats that vote with Republicans and vice versa. The people need to vote in a balanced government for one. Two, they all, on both sides need to be somehow governed. It's like they get in and it's like a sleezefest of influencing folks move in for the kill. Money, power, bigger futures. We can only imagine the amount of resistance it would take to say no,to all that. There aren't as many,, Robin Hood's,, Lone Ranger, Caped Crusader s,,in government,as we'd like to think. And the lobbiest s know that.

And unlike when Obama did it in his first term it was to help get us outta the crap Bush and the war idiots got us into during those 8 years. Trump is doing it for the greedy business ,, wealthy people etc, with the bull that they'll invest it into hireing , getting business here in states and so on,,but it won't work that way. All they'll do is bank it and say thank you Donald. We'll see. And yes,,the economy is gonna be another mess for 2020 president to handle. Sorry David but I wouldn't diss that as a total falsehood. I live in Florida, in a working class neighborhood. Within the last two years our street, the next street over and all around the area, we have Mexican families living 2 or 3 families in a 3 bedroom house. If you didn't know better, every day is Mexican music, singers etc in the air.
I can't tell you about other areas, but why should I think differently. You hear no English at all in the conversations. Even the kids.
I don't try to have a prejudice. I try to accept them as people looking for a step up in life. All fine. But there is no attempt to blend in or be a part of our neighborhood. They're basically buying a house when someone sells, then suddenly there's 6, 7 cars in a yard, meant for 2. And they tend to have businesses such as, towing service, construction, etc. So you have tow trucks parked in the yards too, along with 4 or 5 cars.
Anyway, my point is, maybe it's not obvious where you are. But here it's pretty much so.
So don't count out the possibilities that there could be a plan, maybe not of politicians, but the immigrants themselves.
Tampa, and several areas in Florida are widely Cuban. And we share no border with Cuba right.
I'm not saying their coming to take over. But think about it. If hundreds per week come in. Move in with all these that have substantial homes, then as houses come available, move in. You develop whole neighborhoods of no English speaking people. I'll bet, in the next ten years, if not sooner, one third of the American population will be Mexican. And don't think they're coming to, blend and be Americans.

I do think there is a connection between mental stability and murder in general,,whether done by gun or any other means. I also do think if guns were more prevalent, we'd have more a wild west atmosphere. I think even more people would be shot by over zealous wannabe gunfighters every time there's an argument about anything. My son is just 40, and has guns in his house,,along with three children. I pray nothing will ever happen to make there be any reason to use them. He was never a ruff house person ever, but as we've seen, sometimes the quiet people are the ones that do these things.
My point is, though I don't believe in Trump's approach or the Republicans,, I do think mental stability does play a part in crime's,,,gun or by other means. But not the only reason.

Kind of a goofy gest of a film, because, most people or at least the ones I know, don't think god is personally speaking to them directly. How many people actually carry on a back and forth conversation with God? That's why most religions have the middle man,, the priest, or pastor. You have questions about what you think,,, God may be telling you,,you talk to them,,they explain to you the thoughts you're having. It's the extremists in every religion that think they have a one on one, with God. My opinion.

And there's the rub. For the most part, all y'all tube analysts and even the MSM, to an extent are weekday warriors. You all do really well financially, no matter who's in office.
You know damn well, trump won't get rid of media. As so your jobs are safe. There will always be news. Unless social media dries up y'all will always have tube bucks flowing. MSM will always have advertising. No president will force 20 million immigrants out of the country. It's impossible. They talk about saving money. And they're going to spend millions, billions. On deporting millions of people? People working jobs, Americans don't want to do. Etc. it's an insane promise. How about hiring thousands of government employees. To replace all who don't like trump. That's laughable. The shit the 2025 idiocy talks about, would cost billions. And when it's done. Who's going to be around to do the labor based jobs. Where are you going to get carpenters, plumber's, yard maintenance people? It's just insane. And all this is happening. Because the high brow Dems in charge, either don't really like Kamala Harris. Or they're worried about Joe winning and then leaving the job to her a year or so into his second term? Some bullshit.
All I do know for sure is. Just like trump. There are millions of Americans, who want Joe Biden for president again. And if, the hierarchy, pushes him to go, millions, not thousands, millions, will see the Dems no better than the Trumpublicons. As authoritarians.

People who think that the president needs to be a fighter pilot on steroids, with reflexes like a prize fighter,,,any time your over a certain age, it's obvious, unless you're on uppers, you ain't gonna be that. Trump may be a loud mouth, boisterous, etc. But he's proven throughout his life and his last 4 years, that his choices haven't been prudent or beneficial to us, the people. Sure, he signed a budget, giving the wealthy another republican bonus of money. But what's he done for the little guy?0. Groceries are higher. Cost of things like appliances, autos, etc are higher. Where are, all those higher wage jobs? I keep hearing him say it, but don't see them. 15 bucks an hour, is about tops, jobs I've seen. And that's if you have prior skills in the field. And those aren't new jobs. Been around for years prior to Trump land.
Anyway, my point is, just because you have a loud mouth, and can ramble for hours,, doesn't make you a good president. You have to have a brain too. Bidens always spoken like he does now. Lots of people aren't great orators. But the thoughts that results from the thought, are the important thing.

@Adam Jacobs you're going to blame Clinton for 8 years of Bush!? And u say you're a leftist? Yet EVERYTHING,you say denigrates Dem leadership. It was Republicans during Bush that made the policies.
I guess I must be one of those dumb Americans u want to get away from, because logic of the fact that for 8 FULL years, things were better under Clinton, then by what, sheer magic, Bush gradually took the country to a cliff. Republicans had complete power for 8 years under Bush. Because he was president and Mitch McConnell was soul controller if republican senators that were in majority. So NOTHING, got thru that him without his approval. McConnell is a stupid man, corrupt in his hate for Dems yes, but not stupid. So how with all that wisdom and control did in 8 years they not see an ongoing collapse of our economy? Something tells me you're so far left, you've drifted into the far right lane. You're solid standing up for every republican administration and total bashing of the left or even centrists, is definitely obvious.
When you stand up for GWs handling of things, under the oversight of Dick Chaney, one of the most crooked VPs we've had in my lifetime. Makes me sense, you're no left leaner. Also, I'm more of a centrist. I see moderation, as the answer. I don't agree with forgiving ALL college loans. Only for people that college didn't make for them the job that gave them an income to afford to pay it back. I didn't agree with free checks for all, for the pandemic time. Etc. I believe government should work. Work to determine needs, and use the tax dollars wisely. The problem is, every time a republican president takes office, whats the first thing they do? Give the wealthy a free ride to more wealth and that includes businesses. Do they do 1 damn thing for the outright benefits of the average American? No! They cutback here they cut back there. But not for the wealthy.
Forget it! I'm tired of seeing things for how they've turned out and trying to remember them to explain it. Then hearing nothing but lopsided comebacks that have shown to be totally bullshit.
When trump got elected, I was disappointed, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Because he acted like he was going to be different. But he proved instantly, by signing the budget, giving everything Republicans wanted. So you just go on saying you're a leftist, all the while bragging the wonderful accomplishments of the Republican leadership. Im done hearing it.

@sallysimpson872 Sally, it happens every cycle. Republicans talk and talk and do nothing but elect Republican judges and set up another 4 years of tax exemptions for the upper 10%. Remove any restrictions that keep businesses more honest, like they're ever honest,,, and place restrictions on things they don't want mid to lower income people to have. Then a Dem president has to spend their first 2 years, just getting the shit mess, cleaned up. Like the abortion issue, voters rights and any benefits that lower income people need. Can you believe Skeletor Scott, writing a proposal that everyone should pay tax on things like SS benefits and other programs that keep them able to survive with any dignity they still have. He actually wants to move everyone dependent on aid, into retirement homes. So they can be dealt with easier. Also their funds are totally controlled by people like him. He's a disgusting slug and how he got to where he is in government, I'll never know. Oh!, maybe I do. He's a republican.
But you're totally right.
Much of the crap Bidens having to deal with, idiot orange, started.

This is why I'm not so,,, hyped,,, about Bernie. Certain crimes are much more psychological and horrific. Why would anyone want the vote of a person that is confirmed insane or demented so tragically that her or she is no longer human in the eyes of the law and even just in the eyes of mankind. I'm sorry, I just can't turn the other cheek in every case,, just to get a vote. If I was running for something and I could win if I got the vote of a demented mass murderer,, I'd rather lose.

Mike Carter I agree to an extent, reason why less gun related crimes. But how do you have so called, tuffer control,, in a sociaty where guns of every variety are like a hobby. And while guns are cranked out like cookies,, they are everywhere. Pawn shops, gun shows, hell Amazon. Guys in the military bring them home as keep sakes from tours of duty.. So,, even if in the future we have more strick gun laws,,it would take forever to keep track of all the guns here now.

Y'all are BOASTING! , Harris,s, point leads over trump. Everyone put Joe Biden down for a possible win in 2024. But you just showed it yourself. With all her enthusiasm and the crowds enthusiastic whoopla for her. Their only predicting a 2 point win in the popular vote and a 272 vs 268 in the electoral college numbers. Yet Joe Biden, beat trump 307 to 224 or there aboutts. My point being, if the GD handwringing Dems had just shown the same amount of enthusiasm for Joe, I think he'd be doing as well or better than Harris. But because of a bunch of whiner's, poor Joe, after half a century of civil service, gets pushed aside and not allowed to have his right of a winning second term. Propaganda alone, beat Joe Biden. Propaganda by his own party. 😢

@galacticwarlock2271 Oh I totally get where you are coming from. But its not as simple as that, because just like 300,000,000 people will have 300,000,000 different ideas and needs,,our few hundred representatives, don't always see everything the same either. Our forefathers wrote all this stuff up,at a time when you could count the number of people in a city,,,in your head. Maybe they anticipated growth. But I doubt all the things that have messed us up as a people. But you're right,,,our government is supposed to work with our interest in mind. Not what big money.

Corey Herrick I'm not so sure about the approval part. Trump needs,, anything he can take from an agreement with North Korea and South Korea. Even if they make an agreement without him, you can bet he'll take credit and gladly accept a peace medal if offered,,hell he'd probably call in as someone else and nominate himself for one. I would love to see peace tween North and South Korea, done just twixt Kim and Moon. That would be more honorable and less concerning that Trump gets to build an fn hotel golf course resort there. Everytime I think of Trump making policy with anyone,,in the name of, US relations, that's the first thing that crosses my mind.
1
-
Corey Herrick Sorry, I don't see it. The US is not the say all,do all of world politics. Especially since Trump's arrival. If Moon and Kim want reconnection of Korea , Trump doesn't have to be involved True,if Kim wants to meet with Trump, then yes obviously Trump has to be involved. I think you said, Trump may screw it up,and yes,if Kim won't meet all of Trump's demands, he will probably get up and pull his baby routine and walk out, ass he said he'd do.
Naturally Trump won't be diplomatic and just accept a talk as maybe a beginning to future talks. I don't know. Hey,,if Trump actually works at treating Kim as a leader of a country instead of dictating orders to him and they in turn ,TALK, as leaders,,,, then yes, I'd give that to Trump. He hasn't proven to most people he can do that. Hell,he practically shunned Angela Merkel and Germany is an ally. He wants to be known as a deal maker, but only if the deal is the exact way he wants it. We'll see what happens come June or whenever they decide to talk,if at all. If Trump shows true diplomacy and finally acts like a human, I'll give credit where credit is due. Your right about that. IF,,, Trump shows Presidential deplomacy, he deserves credit,,,for that.

Sorry David, but I'm personally done, believing y'all's analyses. I know you, Tim Miller, all the Bulwark gang and others are very intelligent folks. But after all the months and months of opinions, polls, analyses and predictions. Y'all were so GD wrong, that no-one should truly take your opinions as just that. Opinions. I don't watch the news, enough. So when y'all report the information you have received from the MSM sources you get your info from. If they're facts, I'll listen. But as far as all y'all's, opinions and long drawn out episodes, so you can rack up more and more views and in turn, rack up more and more utube bucks. No more. We sat for 3 months. Hearing all the stories of her success and the polls. And now here we are. Sorry.

I'm a lower middle class person. I'm a prime example of the so called, forgotten people,, Trump boasted he'd fight for. I knew better. He's a big business person. Why would he fight to lower his lifestyle,,to give more to the working class. No politition, usually wealthy,,big business person, millionaire,,are gonna sacrifice themselves to make a more even economic world. They all feel,,they earned it,,why share it. Whether through taxes or giving employee s more while maybe taking less for themselves. That's why higher wages for workers never happens quick,, it's always,, we're gonna raise minimum wage,,,over a ten year period. But the upper crust doesn't mind raising their salaries. Why the hell does an already millionaire need yet more million's? But the 40,000.00 dollars or less worker struggle's to pay his or her electric bill. If taxes are the only way to get a more fair economic country,,any country,,,then that's what has to happen. The truly wealthy HAVE TO PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE!!.
Then we need a truly more honest government to put those tax dollars to the proper causes..Not walls,,or more fancy luxury recliner's for Congress while they sit around and tell us what to do.
Trump won by lying..Our representative s won by lying. These people are just people. They need to truly be reminded of that. Not kings and queens.

@AWilliams-m6e Well put. I always try to stand up for the MSM. Because they do the work of digging up the stories to make headlines, of course. But also to keep us updated and informed.
But now, between social media, YouTube making, journalists, haha, out of anyone with a laptop and a spare room. Media has gone nuts! And with it, the facts. As wackjob, Kelly Ann Conway, says," Alternate facts"?
I just hope, CNN, acts responsibly tonight. And makes the debate, " if it happens", honest. Making,,,djt, speak to facts. Real facts. Not KACs alerternate facts. And give Joe Biden, the credit HE, deserves.

@jnkenoyer First off, typical. You had more money. Sooo, therefore you had the typical monetary gain from benefits from your job or business profits. As for your SS, how did you have more gain from that, considering Republicans can't wait to cut SS money? Thats truly only one thing then. Money. Which if the fact that you have a retirement income from your place of business, means you were probably doing pretty well before you retired.
For me, my peace of mind is my largest benefit to trump being gone. He was and is, a detriment to internal peace in our country, and his Putin, Kim Jong relationship, amongst every other dictator of the world, was a sure path to democracy failure. I suppose u are one of those that say Biden is the cause of world monetary issues. Considering every free country is having the same problems we are.
Second. Trump screwed us big time with his super ego during the pandemic. I don't know what any other president would have done, but we know for a fact what he did. Nothing, for six months but deny it. And my mom died of related symptoms.
Financially, sure, we are paying more for goods. But we started paying more for certain things with trumps trade wars. TRUMPS TRADE WARS! not Bidens. He lied, as usual,, about the wall, the trade wars bringing in more revenue and a hell of a lot of everything else.
For that, you having a bit more spending cash, is a typical Republican happening. Trump said, I'm not a politician. I won't do the typical Republican or Democrat things. Another lie. Because he followed Moscow Mitch McConnell right down the line of Republican do's.
As for my personal financial tale. I'm a carpenter all my adult life after the Army. I never had an IRA, stocks and any other business affiliated retirement benefits. I did finally get my own license and had my own small one man band remodeling business. I started my business in 92, during Clinton I did great. People probably like u, had money, so I had plenty of work. Then, another republican got elected and I saw work disappear bit by bit until 2008 when the toll of another 8 year republican, threw us or many of us down the tubes. Did you do well then too? Probably.
My point is, trump was no better than any other republican president, but his grifting and sneaky family deals made him more money than ever another president ever did. And it was all underhanded.
I'd say that's good for starters.

I think he was right about trumps,,,, make-up. He's not necessarily stupid, his super ego mixed with self lothing and some internal mental issues, have made him what he is. Wack. But he never accepts any,,, responsibility for any thing even he, knows maybe his fault or partly his fault. Good guest David

It's the republican way, to say Democrats are doing all the crooked things, they are doing. Like judges. Remember when McConnell came right out and said, " we have to stop Democrats from filling the supreme Court with their judges". When, who the hell is doing it? Him! And it's blatant. They honestly do not give a crap what they tell the citizens, because they either think we don't have eyes and ears. Or think, so few people care, because we're too busy trying to make a living to see them do what they do. And maybe for a big portion of voters, it's true. I mean look how many times he's been reelected. And people like MTG. And our crooked senator,, Rick Scott. Gag, I hope the day comes when fla gains a Dem majority. Not with politicains like Matt Gaits and Marco Rubio and now Desantis. Like an on going stream of trump clones here.

There's something wrong with a person that cannot see, trump would be a true nightmare, if he regains the White House. He's proven it a thousand times, his inability to govern. Because it's always about him. Me,me,me. Is his motto. Whether he says, America First, or not. He means, Me first, and America can ride my coattails. For better or worse.

If they don't want the name trumist,,,then don't wear Trump wear. Get yourself some GOP wear. Sure, Republicans have been, what I call, truly scum,, is during the Obama years. Treating him like he didn't deserve to be president for his whole term. Clinton was hated by the right, but Obama was despised by them. Those eight years proved the Republicans were true scum. Lead by the worst of the bunch, McConnell.
I cannot believe, these are the same people that can sit at the impeachment inquiry and say, the dems are showing a hate towards a president never seen before, for nothing. Simply because he won in 2016. There is no other possible label for these people,, but trumpists. NOTHING,,, he does, is wrong in their eyes. It is truly a cult.

It was the whiny, crying, worried about their own races Dems, that caused trump to pull ahead, period.
Yes. Joe is obviously running on 7 cylinders, physically and not the spokesmen he was even in 2020. Working your ass off, with 320 million people depending on you, takes it's toll. On any one. As we've seen in almost every president, before and after their terms. And, I admit. It showed with Joe. But I believe, if it wasn't for the handwringers, he could have beaten trump again. Maybe not in debates. Maybe not in boisterous speeches. But in getting things done. Working for the general good of average Americans and America as a country. But no! So many Americans are shallow, game show watching, armchair Americans, that only want bluster, boisterous lip service. Like what djt provides in spades. And this is exactly why Kamala Harris is winning hearts. Showmanship. Entertainment. This is a good portion of the American people. But where's the loyalty?
Thanks Joe, now get out. That's what I'm hearing. Hell! Half of Americans, still want trump. Not because he's a good person or president. But because he puts on the," Show", so many Americans want. He gives the rich people what they want. He gives anyone who'll give him fame and fortune, anything they want. And he tells the mindless what they want to hear.
And that's not Joe Biden.
And that's, why he got pushed out.

I may be wrong, but if we get so low that Harris gets into high placing,,, trump will beat her. Her only boost was her,, poor black me,,, game. Everything else she's dull, has no real plans on anything. Maybe things will change, but I'm sorry, though I'd like to see an educated woman in the white house,, I don't think she could beat Trump. And these polls are probably the same ones that made everyone complacent that Hillary was a shoe in. I'm standing behind whichever dem comes in first,, we'd better all be. But I just don't think Harris can beat Trump. And not positive about Warren either. Smart as a whip and no doubt capable to be prez. Her popularity doesn't show big finish results. All u pushy so called, progressives,, are going to sink us. You're trying so hard to down the mid stream runners,, I think you're going to turn many to do a stupid write in, in protest. @Sombriage Well of course. It costs much money for advertising. The Republicans are desperate to win and will spend, spend, spend. On ads, etc. Plus what the hell does Walker have to do? Throw the ball around a little? His free time is endless. The Senators are supposed to be working, not out running around campaigning. Personally, if voters are too damn stupid to know what's at stake by now, and haven't decided, they're idiots. Or just drawing straws. If you're a Democrat, by now you've seen all u need to know. If you're a republican, you're a puppet probably anyway, and will vote for a penguin if the right wing tells you to. Trump could probably stand there at his rallies and tell his people, " Mr Ed is the guy we want, vote for Mr Ed! '. And they would probably write it in. I don't live in Georgia, so I don't know what Warnock has been doing in the 2 years he's been in office. People should be smart enough to Google, " What has Rev Warnock done, since he's been in office “? What the Warnock campaign has done is say, what he's said. He's for all the opposite of Walker. That should be plenty.

I guess I'm wrong. Because there may never b an independent candidate elected, if you bash the democratic candidate, while the right is also doing it,, it's going to affect the persons ability even more.
Like sure,, your opinion of certain Obama positions on one item or another are not to what you want,, you'll show disagreement with them, but we have to realize in government,,with so many factors to deal with,, sometimes you have to make concessions. Good greef David, the whole Trump administration has been a nightmare for our country and as a dismantling of almost everything Obama put into play, the Republicans are loving that Trump is getting done what they've wanted since Obama took office. What a terrible mix,, Trump and the Republicans. As for Trump's actual administration,, he's basically followed the same," strategy", if you want to call it that, as when he was in private life. Failure after failure. Except for his lifestyle. From all I've heard and read, he's so,,,,flakey,,,and crooked. He screws up all the time. But his arrogance always seems to keep him immune from his own fallout. He marches on,while lawsuits trail behind him. That will be his new book. It's no damn wonder the nuts are rampant. Dobbs and other righties just point blank say,, we all know it happened,,,why can't we find the evidence.
And your analogy is right on.
Sure there's a God. How do you know? Because a book told me so. And the book, can't be a story. How do you know? Oh,,you just have to have faith. Ohhhh, I see now. So glad you explained it fully .
The Republicans are just so factual. So we all HAVE TO,accept that 74 million people voted for Trump,, without question. But they can't fathom that 81 million people, voted for Biden. On who's say so? Why Trump's of course. And he never lies,,,never.

@Skyprince27 Unfortunately it's not just Americans. Seems your mother country chomped at the bit to place into office as close a trump clone as there ever could be , in Boris Johnson. I've been watching, BTC?, Is that it?, lately, and the number of Brits that climb on the trump, Boris, bandwagon, is pretty disgusting.
I don't know much about politics, political name calling etc. But I do understand, good and bad. Names don't matter to me, as much as fairness to the masses in living conditions, freedoms to have a decent life without fear, poverty, decent medical coverage and respect to it. There needs to be a medium of thoughts that go into a good government. One that works for and towards everyone in their society as equally as possible. If thats communism, socialism, whatever. There just needs to be rules and regulations to make sure abuse isn't inset into any of it. Problem is, there are always greedy, power hungry, people, that just never have enough and stick their claws into any decent idea,,,and corrupt it.

@symbiat0 Sounds about right. But I think many can live in both worlds. I m, 69, came over from Germany at age 4 with my mom, adopted by a soldier that met my mom while stationed in Germany. Grew up being an American citizen. Served in the military for 6 years, got married right out of the army and worked for my dad as a carpenter for the rest of my adult life. But I consider myself a balance of both worlds. I use the tech, "to a point", but I don't get tangled up in it socially. I think there are many like me. Middle of the roaders, that see whats best for the majority is the right way, but also see the others do have rights as well.
Being a good leader is no doubt a tough impossible job. Trump was a terrible leader, because he could only see everything for himself, no matter the affect on others.
Here just like England or anywhere, there are always people with different ideals, ideas and feelings how the world should be. Hopefully the better will always come out the lead. And steer the ship in the right direction for all.
We can't let pessimistic talking heads sway our decency.

David, Firstly, I'm no Trump lover, and no Bernie hater. But I have a question. What happens to those millions of people that started out at the old minimum wage, worked 15 years say at Walgreens, Walmart, HD, Lowes, and have worked their way up to 15 bucks an hour? Because I know raises in those jobs are made in quarters and cents per hour. Do they get compensated and a raise to say 25 an hour,,, or do they just suck it up and say,, wow,, I started working too early? A sudden bounce to 15 per hour is all well and good, but it doesn't consider those of us that worked our way up.

@Espada4Ulq First my friend, I'm assuming by your user name you're an Hispanic? If so, have you lived in the US a long time, or just recent? I'm just asking because I'm trying to understand where your input is coming from.
Second. You or no one, unless you're a union worker, can demand a wage. You can ask,,, but the employer has the last say.
Lastly, any person in the US, as they move into the work force has to have a skill to ask for a certain level of pay, to compensate them for the time it took to do a particular job. If you have no skills, then you have to learn how to do the job. When a person works at a job for years, starting out at a wage, and then works their way up, why should a person who does not know the job at all, walk in earning the same wage as the long time worker. Every job I ever had, I had to work my way up. Most jobs you don't start out Making top salary.
Like I say it's just not fair, for a novice to walk on to a job, making the same money as a long time employee. I'm all for higher wages for people that do their job well. But it should be fair to employees that have put in years to learn the trade or job.

-
@Espada4Ulq That's exactly my point. Most service jobs do not get large raises, just enough to give people in incentive, but cost of living always eats it instantly. A friend of mine worked at Walgreens for 35 years. Started at 2 dollars an hour. When she retired from them she was an assistant manager, but still only making 20 an hour. That's all well and good but can u imagine someone walking in knowing nothing about the biz and making just under what it took her 25 years to get to.
Yes, yes, yes companies screw over their lower echelon employees, that's where changes should be made. But the gov can only do so much. That's why with all Bernies big promises, getting them into a practical fair practice, still will not happen overnight like his promises boast. I worked construction all my life. Knees are shot, well not good,, and I have only my house cause I built it to show for 45 years of busting it. Trust me,, I know low pay. It took me 15 years to get my license and at least keep my pay.
Anyway presidential hopeful s shouldn't bait the hook with all kinds of freebies. At least Obama told it like it is. Hard work and working as a team is the answer.

It's like these people like Roberts , look for every opportunity to throw out something to put themselves in the limelight. No matter how ignorant or wrong they are. It's the ole,," Hey look at me, I'm relevant," syndrome. There are so many, sorry to say, just as utube hosts, people looking to get some attention, that they can't wait to just spout anything, to make them look like their on the ball. That's what's causing all the scared or undecided people, to get even more scared and undecided, about everything. Whether to vote. To take the vaccine. To wear masks. All these people do is get people rilled up. Then a Jan 6 th happens.
U Trump people out there wanna say he didn't cause this. Sure as hell he did. We had Republicans working on doing shit behind the scenes. But they didn't start angry mobs because of it. Trump had the pulpit, only a president can have. 100% media coverage. The ability to travel all over at tax payers expense,, And rabblerouse. And his events were called, rallies. When they basically ended up being political bashing, stirring up horrible emotions in people who may have similar feelings, but at least didn't put them on live TV. And all over the US. He basically made it,,,, alright,,,to be mean. In public. Hell, if the president says it's fine to call people names. Put people down. That's for me.
And now he's looking for an opportunity to do it again in 2024. Come on people. Our votes will matter. Don't forget the crap that took place from 2016 to 2020 and Jan 6th 2021. This,,, thug. Does not,,, deserve to be in the white house, again.
But he does deserve to be in the, Big house, wearing his favorite color,,,orange.

Come on David. The only reason Harris and Warren got a boost was because of Harris and her,,, poor black me,,, moment. And that put a?, in people for a moment. Honestly, Harris and Warren are snore fest personalities. Of course, Biden is living off of his Vice presidency. But it may be what puts him over the top. I like Pete, and some of the other young ones, but seems they're name recognition is null as now. I think any of them would make great VP, s. Then in 2024 they'd be loved more if,, the term goes well. But I'll tell you. If trouble occurs with a dem lead, 4 years,,,, they people are going to vote for another Trump in 2024. If we win in 2020,,, that better mean to dems that they are screwed. Trumps keeping Obama s recovery going is a good thing. If we screw up if and when we get another dem prez in 2024 and things go downhill, there'll be a revolt on dems. And Drumpf will be saying, I told you so,,,,.

@saverdemocracy8793 Sorry to burst your Bernie bubble, and I have nothing against him personally,. But u really need to read his record of achievements since in the Senate. He never would have won against trump. His strict desires, would have made middle roaders not vote for him.
I've read all the comments here and though the people in other lands talk a good game, and though I like the fact that David speaks out. Why is it that all these people here, falling all over the wonder of their home countries, why are they here, using the system to make a good living? Capitalism is the reason. I'm obviously only speaking of transplants from those lands.
I'm a German born transplant at 4 ,with my mom in 1956, but the US is my home . Why do Mexicans come in, in droves? Capitalism. I believe David teaches at a college? Why doesn't he teach in Argentina? Capitalism. These people love the money they make here, but bitch about never getting enough it seems.
I've worked hard all my adult life as a carpenter. No glory job . Hard, hot work building house's. Spent my stint in the army for 6 years. And now am semi retired living on about 30 grand a year or less. I built my house, so I do have one, thankfully.
I know how average people live in other countries. I'm sure their rich, live large too, right. America doesn't have a monopoly on greed.
All I'm saying is, while people bitch about our system here, they don't seem to mind using the same system, to live way better than they would in their homeland. Just my opinion.
Biden is a middle roader. But he's working to help balance,,the financial unfairness, that's plagued the country for a few years.
We need to concentrate on making sure the crooked republican scheme of, keeping the regular folk from voting, fails. Also, to make sure the individual states don't give themselves the right to change the vote, if it doesn't suit them. That's scary.
It was fate, that dumped trump. We need to make sure he doesn't get back into the White house.

David I hate to be petty and can't even think of agreeing with rump, but some of his theory is not ridiculous. A mask is not gloves. You aren't changing masks between patients. Masks do act as a sorta spit guard. They don't stop the actual bug if it's airborne, it stops cough spray, that's about it. The actual bacteria is microscopic. It will penetrate a mask. So it is not unheard of for misuse of items, through theft or just mishandling. If a hospital uses 20,000 masks a year month, the during this terrible time, three or four times that should do for starters. That way u can spread out the flow to other places. It's like hoarding I'd say.
A hundred thousand masks say get made. If one hospital gets them all at once, others suffer.
Heaven knows, I think nothing of trump. He's a slug. But on this point, he has a point. Now is just not the time to air the fight. People are suffering and dying. But on the flip side, hospitals are run like a business. And we know businesses aren't always the truthful either.

Also too David, if you remember, just after the midterms Trump was or seemed to back off the ladies. Including Nancy Pelosi and the newbies in the house. He seemed he was trying hard to act, like he was respecting them. So,,, Mrs May had no reason to be angry at him.
Now since the name callings to and from Pelosi especially,,, his talk toward women has gotten to be his typical crap mouth. I got an email thanking me the other day from the Rnc, and Trump. Saying their polling shows Trump with 50 % of voters in his court. I know its propaganda and trumps brain telling him he's doing great in the polls. I think he's nervous about winning or losing. He's not happy with hearing 60% of people think he's a head case case. I think it's only his rallies that save him. A bunch of sick half brained people earning their 50 buck to come and so him praise.

Hey David, I agree with you about that the dems do need to be showing their understanding of the people's basic ideals. But then you have to do it Unilaterally, not just chosen issues to get their vote. Some of the staunch progressive voters want to shove their ideals down everyone's face, and that's just as bad as the right shoving their,, ideals at us. That's why,, at least for now,,, we need to get behind a more centrist choice like Biden or some of the younger runners up.
Problem is the newer folk seem to have baggage to now. So we may as well get behind the lead person, even Biden,,, just so we can move Trump out. Then we stand our ground with promises made and slowly repair the crap that Trump and friends have done.
We have to get the world back to seeing the US as sound. And keep these damn dictator wannabes OUT of office and the Kimmie s and Putin s out of our government as well.
1
-
What i don't understand is,,,does almost every Republican politician see what your saying? I agree,of course,,,but are Republican's so well off, that they're willing to risk their careers, maybe their lives of luxury, when we fall as a world power, and Putin walks in and becomes Trump's new head of security,or something! Because if Trump wins in 2020 and the Republicans keep the Senate, the sky's the limit for Trump. He'll be basically indestructible. 4 years he's done so many illegal things,,,yet like he said. I could shoot someone,on park ave,,,and not lose a voter. And if he gets reelected,,, it's almost the same. Cause even with all the crap,,, he's pulled in the last 4,,, enough people accept him anyway,,, to reelect him. All the polls be damned.
I've been saying for a long time. If he gets a second term, with his last 4, history,,,then a second term for president will honestly mean nothing, in the fact of doing good, popularity, or just being a great president.
To me, a president is honored ,to win a second term. It means something. If Trump gets another one, that precedent is whipped.

Right, a five year old says,,sir, I would leave the military in until the people are out. It's a wonder he didn't call him, Mike pillow. I don't think they booed him about the vaccine. I think they were just saying boo to the vaccine. They'd rather drink disinfectant. Or shine a flashlight down their throat. Maybe eat a small flashlight. After all, it'll come out when they crap,,,right. But in the meantime the light will kill the virus. Honestly, I wonder if he's just pandering to the crowd for the praise cheers. All the time thinking, these people are just too easy. He's just an ass. And I honestly think by 2024, his base will have been cut in half.

@bamaboy7489 The problem is, he's not doing what the people of fla hired him to do. First, he didn't have my vote. Nore my wife. His recent midnight signings about free no permit needed open carry and his 6 week abortion stance, 70% of Floridians did not, vote for. His constant bashing of education, immigration and other personal matters are disgustingly humanely sickening. I'm not up on Chinese land grab here. I've read there have been farm land in the US as a whole, that Chinese billionaires have purchased. One way or another, you cannot tell people who they can sell private property too. Now what anyone does with the property can be monitored and regulated. But as long as they pay the taxes, the property is theirs. It is rather ironic, China doesn't allow non Chinese land ownership. Seems they don't want foreigners to own land in China. That's communism i guess. But see, we aren't supposed to an autocracy or fascists. So people are able to buy property in the US, no matter their nationality. According to what I've read, Chinese property purchasing in the US has been going on for years.
Ya know, Greed has created a lot of crap here in Florida. Greed had a lot to do with trying to use the everglades as Homestead, land. No pun intended. And those weren't foreign developers. It makes me wonder the reasoning behind keeping foreign property ownership, out.
Desantrump is using decisions he makes for stepping stones to a presidential run. Not because he cares sooo much about his constituents and their needs. Just my opinion.
1
-
@bamaboy7489 On the contrary. Biden is doing a lot, for,We The People. Most of his signings have benefited the average American. Gun law's, med laws etc. Nothing he's signing is hurting the average American. Only helping Ukraine, is helping of other countries. I agree, some things are helping a minority. College loan forgiveness. But it's minimal. And giving loan forgiveness to businesses that took the money wrongly, like MTG and Matt Gaetz. That was wrong. But Biden tries not to discriminate. Right wing or left. But he's done more for the average American than any recent president. Many things, he has no control over.
It's obvious Desantrump is working only for himself. In his first term, he signed the 21 gun rule, when many republicans did not. He also signed, no drilling off our coasts.
But that was his first term. Someone has his ear now with his reelection. And not for the best of the constituents. Not all anyway.

Mcconnell's best decision should have been to not vote for a guilty verdict, but also not to come out and openly say, Trump is responsible. Because both ways he loses Trump voters. What did he gain other than keeping with his fellow Republicans in a no vote. Unless,,,,,he knows that most of them truly know Trump is guilty,,but just don't want to get on the bad side of voters by openly saying it. That or he knows how short the memories of the voters are and realized they're going to forget what he said. Personally I don't care about mcconnell. He showed his true self when he went against Obama on everything. Swore, he'd be a one term president and boasted it like he's so powerful, he can do everything.

@thedissidentleftist6997 All i know is, listening to trump talking to his cult members, and cult members they definitely are. All I hear is a selfish divisionary. Hate, hate, hate. That's all he spews. His word is gospel. And the second you show question to it,,, you're out. This is authoritarianism at it's height.
He takes freedom of speech, to the limits of, it shouldn't be allowed. He lies and lies and makes shit up , and throws it out as fact. And his cult members just eat it up. Shouting they're hatred for people they know nothing about. His rhetoric is disgustingly hatefull and his stupidity is shown every time he goes off script. I thought we were done, having to listen to a slug with so much vanity, anger, and self worth. And now he's right back at it. Disgusting.

Hi David,. We need to thank Nancy and anyone in office and have a bully pulpit, referring to Moscow Mitch,as such,,, because it does put it out there. The more people that hear it and speak it, will put his reelection in hopefull termoil. He has to go. He's been against the Dems,,,, always. And now that he is a pubic hair on Trump's junk,,, he's even worse. If that's possible.
Also,,,why do you always seem to name ,,centerists,,,as a bad thing? I consider myself as such, because,,,there are things the right stand for, that are a good thing. And many things on the left that are good. Unless you're micro managing,,, it's either a right or left and in the middle, world. We need the center to make this world work. Too much either way and.

@nocturnalemission6822 So what do you consider to be your label? I am just pointing out that labeling the candidates, or even say David P., or others, singles them out as a certain thinking or acting a person. Example :, Sanders has very liberal, used as an adjective, ideas. Or at least that's what he keeps portraying himself to have. But people have labeled him a socialist, a noun describing his practices. Which we don't for sure know that he lives by. So automatically anyone that feels socialism is bad,,, hates Bernie. That's the problem I have with labels.
And I don't know where u got the idea all of us,degenerates, give the most labels to others. But maybe if the shoe fits. And what causes people that write comments, degenerates? Or is that another label,,, that only u understand?

@davidhoward4715 Just saying, I don't understand Facebook in that way. I don't use it mostly. I don't go on and boast my daily goings on. But I know people that do. Utube,is my only vent, and thats only because I watch other tubes on other helpful things and yes some entertaining things.
Now if Facebook is like that, I didn't know. If there are harmful to the public, things on Facebook posts, then being a responsible owner of the site, they should not allow it. Like utube does. If that's what you are referring too,, I agree. Though it's hard to live in a country, that boasts, freedom of speech, and then denies some of it, without seeming hypocritical. Like Twitter did finally with trump though. If you're spouting harmful propaganda, you should be banned. But still. It's a hard line to know just when to call it.
People are supposed to have some common sense about what they read. Thats what we hope anyway. Thats why were allowed those freedoms. To judge for ourselves.

Come on David, Trump personally, has only one channel. The put down.
The Republicans in general, have no policies. That work or stand out. It's the Reagan trickle down, again and again. Give the wealthy tons of extra money and they in turn will pass it down. I think that ridiculous idea has surely proven to be bullshit. Because all it ends up doing is making the rich, richer. So then what do Republicans do trumps first year? Tax cuts. Oh sure. His cuts benefited people in your bracket. But anyone making less than say a hundred thousand a year, probably saw no benefit. And now he wants to give oil companies more money if he's elected and or they donate a billion dollars to his campaign.
So what else does he have against the Dems, except name calling. Worked with Hillary. Worked on poor Joe Biden, and after Kamala does a few more interviews and gives up some of her policies, that some may not like so much, may work more against her. She's still in the beam of the coming out. Stardom. Maybe that'll beam right up to Nov. And she'll be just fine. But just look at Joe Biden. He's done more in 3 plus years than anyone thought possible. And what do people do because he's old, white and a man? They're bored with him. It's as obvious as can be. Because on the other side of the street. You have an old, criminal. And he's backed by 95% of his followers and party.
But I'm not even thinking about bugging. I would have voted for Joe Biden, and I'll vote for Kamala and Tim. Not because they're better than Joe and Kamala. But we need trump and his maga horseflies gone. And if she wins, he'll be one step closer to being gone. Because he won't make another 4 or 8 years and he is trump. He's the cult king. And none of his kids, nore his sidekicks are. No matter what we see and say about him. He got to a lot of the little guys in America. By being the showman. He was only bested by Obama in that realm. But Obama is a black man. That gave him an instant lead. Hillary had it too. Being a woman. But too many men were threatened by her.
Trump is a showman. But he's not a good speaker. Maybe that's the draw for lower income and IQ folks. He speaks their language. And, he's a salesman. Ego trippin his way through life. Never backs down, never admits wrong doing or defeat. That's gotta be a feature people admire. Facts be damned.

Oddly enough, some of the same people that voted for prez Obama,, also voted for trump. How does that go along with your answer?. Maybe it does, in respect to the fact that only around 40 to 45% of peeps voted for trump,, I'm assuming, due to his constant polls. Then there are about 50 to 52% of voters that would vote dem, no matter what. Then the rest are swing voters. This will be a really crazy election next year.
35% of peeps with vote t, for sure. We must enthuse the 65 % to vote for the dem candidate. If it's a big spread,, the electoral college will be out of the Pic.

It is kinda dumb to take the Bible too literally, because each writer had his own philosophy of God's word, so there are so many definitions of everything. That's why preachers cherry pick different parts of the Bible to preach from. Capitalism is only preached by the 1%, or the 1% wannabes. It's pretty damn obvious, in capitalism, only a small percentage will be super wealthy, cause there has to be the, working class,,to make it happen. And the 1%, will never split the profits evenly amongst the whole.

EXACTLY,, BUT!! If women use constant abortion as a means to birth control, that's not cool either. If a woman, constantly gets pregnant, due to being too lazy or stupid to not get pregnant repeatedly, something needs to be done. I totally agree the woman has the final say as to end an unexpected pregnancy within reason of the stage of the pregnancy, but using abortion as a way of birth control repeatedly,,,?,,, there's problems there.

@Avrysatos Maybe, but as what happened in last impeachment, if votes aren't there it'll be a wash. And you can already see his diehard dingleberrys are like pilot fish cleaning a shark. Omg David, I don't know if it's just you don't know Meagan Kelly, or you just wanted the publicity. But you were swamped. They don't even use facts, in their attacks on Dems, Biden and you when you didn't fact check them. I heard Kelly with Bill Maher. And could not listen more than 5 minutes. She basically is a tape recorder, playing back every trump talking point and Republican playbook misinformation. She's kinda like all the right wing robot female talking heads. And the right uses their looks, because they have no real intelligence. Anyway, you wasted your time with that wishwash discussion. This,Hogan guy. Who I've never heard of and hope never to hear again, is as cultlike as it gets. And Kelly, is laughable as a moderator. Her love for trump is aching to escape from her mouth every time she opens it. But playing moderator, she had to at least show a morsel of neutrality. Can't watch the whole thing. It's embarrassing.

Hell, the right loves to flaunt the few non white folks that fall for their hype. It makes them seem less hypocritical and racist. It's like Trump s rallies,,you always notice signs that say,," Blacks for Trump". About 3 in a thousand. The woman is definitely a well speaking power seeking, no doubt from a well off background, Trump follower. Most times when I watch any interviews with Trump people, many seem, intelligent, but just got enamored in Trump's,,, promise?, of changes with average folk having some say. She sounds like the typical California valley girl. Preppy school well off kid that has had,,all her life,,but not very intelligent but well spoken. But yeah,, I'm sure the Right, loves her.

Kinda silly comparing anywhere in California, to anywhere in Ohio isn't it David. When you started the comparison, I thought you were going to compare two towns in,,, California. But, when you said somewhere in Ohio,, kinda blew it for you.
Personally, I wouldn't want to live in California. I'm already in Florida, and we already have that over population for our resources, as it is. But still people pour in. I'm 68, been here all my life,, I remember better times.
But I am so happy that another blue state, stands against attack from the right wing machine, trying it's best to take back the house and Senate in 2022. Vote blue 💙.

I have always thought the situation was in question. First off,, the towers were old and outdated. Revamping would cost millions, if not billions. Now the entire project is either covered by insurance, or government funds. Practically rebuilding the new structure. Yes David, look at the war for instance. Who got millions in government contracts as well. Our dear Bush VP. It'll never be proven because most Americans are satisfied with the lies or stories. I remember several questions that were going around. Why was there a big push to not have everyone that work there, there that day. Why were strange crews working in the building s for weeks prior to the day? And more that I don't remember.
All I do remember specifically was the fact that the towers were due for renovation,, big time. And that would have cost a fortune. And I don't think rent costs would pay for it,, and I don't think insurance either. As for deaths. Our wonderful government kills ten times the 3000,reported in wars all the time. They chalk it up as war statistics and collateral damage. Many felt the same way,, but because of the deaths,, kept silent in respect for them. I think. But you're right,,, if it was a planned thing. A lot of people knew. Tough call for sure.
But if you believe Lee Harvey Oswald did it all alone,, I'm sure you'll believe what we've come to have to accept as well.

Cid Sapient Not sure what ur referring to in1994. Throughout Clinton s term we were in one of the best all around economy in years. Bush took the inherited plus economy and during his 8 years flushed it down the toilet. I am a single worker, self employed carpenter and i watched my business that from 1992 to 2000 thrive, drown in dwindling work as Bushes economy strangled and flushed things into the crash of 2008. President Obama inherited that mess and worked,, against republican push back,,and got things going again. So in walks idiot orange,,and fulfilling Republicans wishes,,starts working against every thing Obama did. You are right that government is the culprit of sucking any benefits outta the government business. The Republicans give huge tax breaks to big business because they are side funded by the same. So allow business to run unchecked, to do whatever they want. Screwing over labor and stacking their bank account s full of taxpayer s money. Just look at all the fat cats old farts, sitting on billions,, while we have, poor health care, lower wages etc. When businesses can donate millions to Presidential candidate s,, congressman campaign funds amd other luxurious affairs, there's money to burn and things are just wrong. But,, it's gone on for years,,, while some people barely get by and some,,not at all. Things do need work. Where do we the people,, begin?

Well we know Graham has been getting closer and closer to frump, so his overwhelming repeating everything frump says and, just contriving more and more excuses as to frumps innocence. Between Graham and now Haley, there may be a truth to frump desiring a new running mate for 2020. That or someone is sure jockeying for a higher position in frumps administration. Maybe Graham, knowing he may be out of a job in 2020 is looking to be frumps cabana boy? We know Haley has always bowed to king frump,,, for the most part. So her reasoning is a bit suspicious. But Graham,,,,,. He's begging for something.

Ms V I believe Fred the father had many rasist ideals,, I really don't think Trump is as much a rasist as a classist. He pushed against the needy,,poor, uneducated," school wise", of any color. He is also a rich, arrogant silver spoon raised elitest. Considers himself better than many people,,but I really don't see race as much as class being his thoughts. Just my opinion.

Well, as one who did not read the Mueller report, but has always believed that Trump would do anything to win and to deny any wrong doing ever,,, the interview did not shock me, but what kinda did, was he has kinda now admitted he thinks there's nothing wrong with getting dirt from foreign sources on other candidates or just anyone you like.
But when you remember just a while ago, when Rudy Giuliani, said,,, there's nothing wrong with getting information from Russia or anyone. Obviously Trump, and his little gang had a little talk about that particular subject.

Exactly. As long as Manafort doesn't flip on Trump,,,i believe Trump will pardon him. Now Cohen,,,,,? He is already in the flip game,,,his testimony alone may still bury Trump. And from what i hear and read,,, Trump has already put Cohen under his bus , friendship wise. You can't have a crooked president hailing over a crooks guilt. But hell,,that what's going on in our own supreme Court, now that Trump has power.

frededison I agree,,just saying, he has the same ,, ramblings,,,every time he goes off script. Allways has. He has never understood how gov works, because he's always been the last word. Even if his last word is wrong and shit hits the fan. But with government,, he's not the last word and thankfully for that. He'll be gone long before the Republicans or even the Democrats let themselves be put out by his rants. The Republicans need his for his signature, and he needs them. Hopefully after 2018 mid terms, we'll have a balanced Congress with Democrats having some say. Then we'll hopefully see changes,,, hopefully. You are correct though,,he does have delusions of grandeur,, larger than other past presidents.

@qwertyqwerty6099 Yep, that's exactly why his lawyers don't want him to testify in person. They know he just cannot ,not lie . Plus he can't keep a straight story line going, because he always has to embellish his conversation with his own braggings,,and they are always wrong or more lies. His reputation of failed business deals should have told most people how terrible he really is at running things. That's why I think, along with a few others,,that he's a shill,a puppet, for someone or a group of someone's and maybe always has been. He's too,,, literally dumb, to run things himself.
1
-
@qwertyqwerty6099 Exactly. But you have a remember,, the repubes, were and still are,so determined to reverse anything Obama did, they hatted him so much,, that they will endure snide, ignorant, comments made towards them etc, by Trump,,just to keep him as their,,Do boy. Because he will be taking most of the hits from the people. He'll be gone in 2 years,,,they presume,,,and they'll use some excuse pinning everything on him,,and still have their jobs. Just my guess.
1
-
@qwertyqwerty6099 of course. His history is full of failures, bankruptcy, and other stuff we've not even been told. Hell, when Hillary pointed out his terrible past, all he did was deny and brag that not paying taxes is the sign of a smart businessman. Yet people still thought he was, wonderful. Seems he could have come right out and admitted to robbing a bank,,his followers would have applauded and said, great,,what a real man. The man truly picks the cream of the crop. Thieves as cabinet members and the mentally deprived for his supporters. We can only hope the Dems will win big in November and hopefully they can use their majority to curb his next 2 years.

@qwertyqwerty6099 True enough,,back before social media, events never got around like they do today.
I didn't even care about Trump or any politics really. Was to busy trying to make ends meet and support my family. Honestly, i believe most people did the same. We voted. Elected officials to supposedly run our government wisely and responsibly. We worked our jobs and hoped they did theirs.
I can only learn from what i read and hear on TV, cable news, national and local news and now these some learned, some bullshit, utube fact finders, to the true or false goings on of high end politicains and our wonderful orange leader. And obviously listening to them and reading from their behaviors, the truth about them. Hillary has her baggage, but is intelligent,,seems sincere and understands the ways of government. A big plus in a presidentail candidate. Trump is and was a pretty open scumbag ,,crappy but wealthy,,,to a degree,,, businessman. How the hell the decision wasn't obvious to anyone who at least wanted democracy to continue,,i don't understand. All i hear now is how many people didn't even vote for president,,,at all cause they were making a stupid point. So what do we have,, a nut moron in the White House.
I do hope after the midterms change is going to be for the better. I'm not sure the Dems have all the answers, but I'm sure hoping this presidency has taught them something, and we don't fall into another complacent win cycle, where they get to cocky and just ride the wave thinking,, We're back.
Fried rice and fish sounds good. Hope you enjoyed.

@qwertyqwerty6099 I don't know about European politics . I am a born in Germany moved to the US at 4 immigrant, and I was having a back and forth with another tube commenter that was also a German that moved to Australia as a child, but,,kept in touch with her relatives in Germany. Sounds like they have their issues as well. And now living in Australia, she has her issues with their prime Minister as well. Hate to say it but seems political dismay isn't privy just to good ole USA. Medical care seems to be the biggest universal peeve,,, understandably. Our system has way many drawbacks, and I personally don't think insurance is the right direction to go. But don't know enough about the socialized methods to pray for them either.
Im also a vet,so I do get care for pretty much free. And now that we are 65 we can use Medicare, if we choose. But, it's still not perfect. When the kids were little, we didn't have health insurance, but thankfully our kids were healthy and so were we. It's tough when you mid to low income,,for sure.

@qwertyqwerty6099 Thanks for the recipes. Our stir fry experience starts with frozen vegetables, usually stir fry style. We have and do some over rice,,,brown or white. But my wife is a Kansas lady. Used to taters and greens, haha. So it ends up mashed potatoes green beans and chicken breast is our general meals. But we do play around abit with stuff. Thin sliced steak and stir fried veggies and ive tried fried rice but end up just a bit burned and crispy. Maybe that's how its supposed to be? Not sure.
Anyway,,,glad you like your chefisum. My brother worked in restaurants as a sue chef? So he used to tell me some of his experience s. Interesting. I do remodeling work and have worked in restaurants. Been in kitchen s while dinner or lunch was being prepared. Quite an experience watching the chefs. We do watch cooking shows on the TV sometimes,,,gives us ideas. When kids were little,we did more. After awhile the quick meals are more common. Least for us. Keep up the cooking and watching the,,,news. I know seeing the depths of government works gets a person down sometimes. Take care.

@qwertyqwerty6099 Well I see our fries taste preference is different and saddened to hrar you eat Lamb, 😓. I protest the killing of baby animals for human delicacies choices, though I know it'll still take place. And for fries for myself,, except at fast food place s, I make home fries with skin on. Though maybe it's just laziness in peeling that I prefer them that way,,haha.
Danette,,my wife, says thanks, and how did you know she was lovely? Women can't hear that enough I'm guessing. Especially at 70. Oops,,not supposed to tell.
As for worries about politics,,vs cooking or just living,, we probably shouldn't, so much. It all seems to take care of itself,,as long as we listen and vote with our brains and not our party or the lies spouted during campaign s.
I do get scolded abit when I sit on the phone and listen to so much Trump crap.
You mentioned your puter,,? Before the smart phone, our laptop was our go to, device,,but these little suckers do so well, the puter is hardly opened any more. And,, I thought I was the only one that say puter,,vs computer. Everyone else asks me, What? when I say it. Ha.
Anyway gotta go mow and stuff. Have a great day,,

@qwertyqwerty6099 Yes,, Trump does have a very obvious style doesn't he? It makes you wonder if businessmen are just that crass,,all, or just some like him. I ponder a lot when I think of his style, behavior, attitude,, whatever u call it. When u compare it to other presidents, u wonder if, in one way, it does get things going and people listening,. But in another it offends and can make u hate him of at least dispise him.
On one hand, Do believe the death count could have easy been 3000 or more even. But when u hear how they assesed that figure, was kinda sketchy. No matter the amount of deaths,,Its sad in this day, people live so ,,,,exposed?,,to the elements, that a storm can take so many lives.
It is disgusting that they used money designated for aid,,,for the migrant situation. Thats one case that showed a lot of people the real hearts of some of our gov officials and others.
It does make us realize bigotry is not gone. Course we see that from many people on both sides of the problem. That's why we need to teach more real history and the basis behind it. When people have knowledge of the whys,, behind someone's beliefs. It helps us realize why,,,and maybe see,,and maybe understand,,and maybe forgive and get along. Sorry it upset u so ,,that cooking was not even the pleasure it is usually.

@qwertyqwerty6099 Hey Quert,,,I do understand the age thing, I'm 66 and me lovely wifey is gonna be 71 next month. They say ur only as old as u feel? Well somedays I feel 60 and other days or times of day,,, about 80. Course I'm a long time carpenter contractor by trade. And years of roofing, flooring and most everything else has taken its toll on my knees and back,, sometimes. If you're a Harrison Ford fan,,ever seen him run? He was a carpenter,,least what he says. Hell on knees when the sunny side is on the down stroke. Meaning after your youth is seen its term.
Glad you're feeling lively though. My wife is that was too. 5 plus years my elder and seems like it's the other way around.
I was buying some paint at a body shop when i was about 35,,,and the salesman looked at my license and said," damn,,,ur only 35?? You look like you've been rode hard and put away wet. If you remember Jerry Garcia?,,, people said I'm a spittin image. So you know what he looked like. I wasn't a dead fan, so had never seen him. When he died they had a mag article about him and i saw his picture for first time. Damn, they were right. Hair, beard, everything cept i don't ware glasses.
Anyway, point is,age ain't no fun,,, unless your rich and can just enjoy it.

@qwertyqwerty6099 Oh,,yeah. I read your " excuse", bout eating Lamb. Sorry but those little guys are so innocent and sweet,,i don't care if u catch them in their teen years or babies,,,, it's terrible in my book people eating them till they've had a chance to be an older sheep at least. I don't even buy calves meat of any kind. A decent steak from an older cow or bull is bad enough. And don't get me started on deer.
You and my wife would enjoy talking. Shes like u,,,a smarty. I always told her she so wasted her youth being a wife and mother,,to her first husband,, anyway. She could have been a doctor or lawyer or anything. But married before even graduation of high school. But she loves her kids by him,,so can't say she regrets it.
Back to getting a shower and ready for TV. Have a good eve.

@qwertyqwerty6099 Just stopping for a break and checking messages. I read your response about baby animal and unnecessary taking of animals lives for our taste buds.
I by no means was trying to guilt you,,,well maybe a little. Hell I know there's a food chain and also we do raise animals for consumption,, I'm not stupid to reality of that. But doesn't mean I have to like it. Our daughter tried to get us to stop meat too,,cept for fish. She was really against the way they raise the animals that we take for granted and stuff our faces with. She too is a college educated, top of her class smarty,,,and a high school math teacher as well. So guess as all college kids,,has her save the whale, feelings. I like u told her, whether it's us or any stopping eating meat,, it's going to go on. But like u I also feel, the animals should be treated with respect and well treated while they live. Not stuck in cages or force fed hormones to fatten them up to produce more meat per animal. There's no reason but greed ,for there not to be free range cattle and piggies etc. Oh but there's gotta be land for realestate to sell to developers to build houses for more people to move into to get revenue from for our city fathers to throw away on crap.
Anyway I didn't mean to make you feel guilty,,,well maybe a little.
Well,,back to work. Hope ur day is going well too. 😋

@qwertyqwerty6099 Quite a read. You do sound quite intimidating at almost 6 foot. Hey,,my experience at HD, is the guys are always most helpful to the fairer sex. I'm in there so much I often see the clerks busting their butts to help the ladies. And at almost 6 ft,, I'm sure you don't hide in the crowd. Just my experience though.
I went up the Chicago a few years ago to work at my daughter's house after she finally bought out her X and was able to have total access to their house. Anyway we went to the HD there for things she wanted to work on and what an experience. Like u she is very independent. Her X was such a pansi, she had to do 85% of the house work,,even a garage door opener,,, after 40 years a carpenter and handyman,,she impressed me lots. She basically to,,argued with me about things ive done a hundred times and her once,,but because of her pride she won't take my word for anything. It's ok. She's our kid. Even at 46.
But I'm happy she's so man unneedy. My wife is the opposite. She's smart but can't screw a screw in the wall right. Hahahaha. Exaggerating a bit.
You didn't have to over explain the animal thing. I'm a realist. Still don't like it but i know I'll never change it.
We do kitty catch and release. Now we take care of twelve of our little fixes. We do what we can.
So you do graphic design? Whats that like? Sounds interesting. You have your own signal tower? Do u live in the boonies? On a mountain,, island in the big water,,as Trump would say? We live in FL. That's all. Old folks state of the Onion. For ur benefit. I use them a lot too. I'm being summoned. Until next time,,,😋

@qwertyqwerty6099 Good morning ma'am, Just getting to my job and checking mail before getting started. That's one problem with these pocket puters,,,you get glued to checking them more than laptop s or desktop s,,,my opinion anyway. Oooo, drumsticks. Always a good snack and grilled meal. Barbecued with hot sauce, fried, roasted. Many ways are good.
As for our daughter s fish acception,,? She has an aquarium too,,so maybe even for her it's a stretch but I honestly don't remember if we questioned her about it too heavily back then. Obviously this was like 20 years ago. Other than the regular wishing animals were treated better before being taken for preparation to give their lives for our stomachs,, she's come to realize it's inevitable, their demise for to feed us. To bad we don't live in dinosaurs times,, where we humans may not always at the top of the food chain,, people may have more respect for critters.
I'm assuming by your age, your parents are still alive? Do they still raise chickens? So you have your own little brood? Like with other pets,,if I raised chickens we'd probably never have chicken either. I wouldn't have the heart to take their lives.
Ever since I killed a bird with my BB gun at 12,, I am so protective of life. Ironic really. Because I intentionally aimed to miss the little guy. Guessing the sites were not right on. Such is life I guess.
Your religion comments, hit home too. My mom, being German,,was Lutheran and my dad,,, really didn't have an affiliation. He didn't go to church with us when i was little. So we kinda stopped going. I guess I believed in God okay,,,but wasn't at all fanatic about it. We had neighbors who always tried to get us kids to go to church with them,,but never truly panned out. So i had mixed feelings about God and religion. Danette always tells me,,, Don't get into arguments about religion or politics.. Shes so right,,but it's tuff to always shut up. Hence my being glued to this Trump thing. I never even voted till Obama ran. I really wanted to be a single part of him winning. Same with Hillary,,,i truly thought if i voted for her she'd make it. That didn't happen,,my bad.
Whoa,, getting on a rant.
I'm not sure your third part of the reasons for animal's mistreatment before going to amnmal heaven.
My answer is always greed,on the part of the people that raise them. Sure most people look for bargains on everything,,, including food. Cause most have to! But the abuse is partly governments fault for not making strict guidelines for animal care. And the owners greed for grabbing as much profit as possible.
Now u can hit me with your,, right,,answer, 😊. Later lady.

@qwertyqwerty6099 Did u get my e address? You didn't mention it.
Whats the old saying,,me thinks you profess too much? Constantly bringing up you boobies. Bragging or complaining? And so twas ur papa that was Indonesia right? I'm not a good one to throw nationalities at. Not an educated man in that regard. So the height thing and great boob thing is lost on me,,through genes, anyway. Glad ur proud of them though. U should be. Till u get older,,,haha. Just teasing you. You keep them and all the dudes that notice them happy.
Your shrimp meal sounded good. You are quite the wordsmith in regards to the description of your meals. And other things t OO,,get it? But when u talk about them i imagine listening to those chefs on the information network on TV. You could definitely have a career in that if you ever get tired of what do,do.
Anyway let me know if u did or didn't get my e dress.
Was gonna ask ur opinion of the Kavanaugh thing but I fingered u were on the same page as us. He's a preppy scumbag like Trump. Only smarter. Till next time,,😋

By the time things start getting back to normal, all the threats Rump made that the country was go in the dumper under Biden, are going to be discharged. Rump said, no more God, the economy will be in trouble. On and on. The only thing negative happening is the Republicans suddenly dismiss all the shit,, Rump did and coddle him.
Yes, 1400 is less than 2000, but my opinion is, there is far better chance for more checks, with Dems in power. The republicans constantly did a check,,, then nothing for months.

@tracyerskine7029 The problem is, he never comes right out and says the words. He's learned that, if not much else in his life,,,never actually says the words that will link you to the incident.
But you're sure right about one thing. Non of the punishment any of the Jan 6 the attackers will get, will match that gotten by say, a black person that robs a store or throws a brick thru a window, during a protest. Maybe,,,the pipe bomb maker, or the guy who physically beat the officers almost to death. They may get 5 years, maybe. But because they're white and claim innocence because they just got rilled up, not because they intentionally went to do harm. We'll see. It's not over yet.

@SilortheBlade Yes I know. My point was his lies about that all he did was study, work out for the sports he played in at school. His stories bounce all over trying to act like he had no time for a big party life. Schools do play sports for just physical education, true. But also they have teams that play other schools,,,which is competition as well as fun. I haven't heard his particular sport,,so maybe he was in something that didn't require a tuff guy build,,,i don't know. That's my point. And you're definitely right,,,this is serious.

Come on David, facts do NOT,,matter to the trump crowd and so many republican voters. Nothing we say is enough evidence for the right. They're going to follow the leader trump, right over the cliff. With deer in the headlights, looks on their faces as they fly through the the air. The talking heads, Ingram, hannity, Carlson, etc, will keep spouting lie after lie and that keeps the sheep in the race to the cliff.
Look at Jan 6 th. All those people that broke into the capital, are now getting imprisoned and wondering, what happened to my pardon? And all the while, trump runs free, Ingram still making money spouting lies. It just shows, the sheep herder didn't jump, while the sheep did.

Well who else is going to investigate government? Look at how the accused deny to being questioned. They shrug off subpoenas, they say they'll cooperate, then walk away. So who else is going to make them come forward except a Congress special committee?
It's disgusting to think just once again, trump and other right wing government officials, including people like R. Stone, and others, are just going to walk away without any retribution for their actions. While the attackers he inlisted to doing his dirty work, are going to prison and jail etc. Which they should,,,,,but him and other instigators walk. Disgusting.

Plus, Biden is in office right now, so all the adverse things that are happening, right now, are on his shoulders. Where as, those same adversities don't reflect on trump at all, right now. And anything he says about how much better he'd be doing, right now, is armchair quarterbacking. Which is always easy to do. So he can afford to be very positive when he speaks. Cause it ain't happening to him. Lets look at COVID, for example. And Mr I can do everything myself, I don't need anyone, flubbed horribly.

@lucyjackson9408 Yeah, I like David alright. Been watching him a long time. But just like with many of these... analysts. I think they post videos just to get some views. Sadly enough, I've checked into these " average", folks, that start these channels and found out, they're millionaires. And you see their past earnings and they started out, normal for income. And over time and gaining viewers, their income puts them into several higher tax brackets. To the point where they're no longer like us poor saps watching, trying to see what's going on. But one of the 10%ers.
But anyway, I like you, hit the Internet and searched for Powell, abusing her plea bargain . And found 0. And not one of the other utube analysts have mentioned it. So I was surprised. And curious.

I think trump is just more mentally, a mess. Then his first time. Now he's more interested in vengeance and extreme loyalty. Even if it means hiring incompetent boobs, for certain positions. Financially, he's already experienced how to make lots of money while in office. And come on. This is a big part of his ambition. Then, getting rid of legal attacks against him. No.2. Then comes vengeance. Against all the people who tried to convict him.
Hell, running the country is way down on his list. I think it's going to turn into another House, cluster F. Nothing gets done but the vengeance, his freedom from conviction and then maybe, becoming the dictator he wanted to be. But honestly. I truly wonder if he really wants to commit his freedom, to be on call, all the time, anymore. He loves the... admiration? But hates, duty. He's just not a worker. No matter how simple the job.

So then David, does your tax rate going down mean trumps taxes for businesses works? I mean, obviously your business is small, but even at your position in small business size your rates are lower due to the taxes Trump perposed?
So is it any wonder Trump has supporters.
I'll tell you, I think Trump is a sleazeball and bad as president, but when I hear or read the facts to some of the policies,,, I question myself totally disapproving him.
Take the wall. We hear so many statistics in respect to illegal crossings. Whether drug related or crime related, or just people coming to work and kinda pushing wages down for labor related jobs. More statistics that aren't clear. I mean,, maybe we do need a better wall type deterrent to curb uncontrolled passage. I only say this because I work in construction. For 45 years to date. When I first started, the percentage of Mexican workers I saw was very minimal. When I was in my late 20s, I saw more. Especially in larger construction crews. Now it's almost 80% if not more. Not because they are better workers,, but because they'll work for less. And in big construction volume pays. Now drugs are another thing. On one hand I hear, most drugs come through ports of entry. Is that fact,, or propaganda? Could better more solid borders help? Just because the dems say no,,,, is that a fact, or do they say anything,, just to counter Trumps wall? Who do we believe? Politics is such a mess,, who can the public trust to give us facts?

I still don't think the Supreme Court will necessarily be able to vote in trumps behavior if,,, there's a LAW, that allows congress to demand the reports or tax returns the the court MUST, follow the law,, not their political feelings. That's the biggest thing about the Supreme Court,,, as with Barr, they are required to follow standing laws if there are any. Unless a law is changed or amended the court has to follow it. Just my opinion.

Hey David,,,If you are sincere in your doing what you do, to help the world and the US, by pointing out the issues and facts behind them,, and not just to make a buck,,than yes,, it's worth it.
The repubes and their bobblehead talkshow Hannity s, Colters and so on,,have punched Dems and Dem presidents as long as there's been radio, TV and now internet. It's about time the other sides kick some ass.

Man kind has been involved in, overkill retaliatory war acts, probably since the beginning of time.
Hell, even God, wiped out the entire worlds population. Because he was just pissed that man kind was, in his mind, evil.
How we all came back is a pretty good question, but according to the good book, that's what happened.
Now I don't know the whole story about Israel and Palestine. And I don't know who threw the first stone. But now we're not using stones any more. So rockets fired from Israel, will more than likely, kill innocent people.
It does go on. It's disgusting and should be considered war crimes. Same with the people who attacked Israel. But this feud, has gone on for decades and more.
Cenk is a loud mouth. And I'm kinda pissed that, he comes here, bashes our government, both sides, Dems and Republicans, viscously. But calls his utube show, not the young Americans. But the young Turks. My opinion, if you're so proud of your homeland, which i no problem with, and your homeland has its own horrible issues, why are you here telling us how terrible we are. And I don't mean just by using freedom of speech and saying your not happy with our countries government. But by using the airways to say derogatory things about almost everything, America is. And he wants to try to do something about Biden running, by making a play for a candidacy. Sounds like dear ole Cenk doesn't like Kamala Harris either.

I researched the beginning of the Korean war and why they have the situation they do. Oh and what do I find, good ole Russian involvement with the likes of East and West Germany. Democracy on one side and the heavy handed communism on the other. An installed Communist ruler, with overbearing power with no reguard to any thing accept subservient behavior as the norm. Oh the things we do for,, peace? Allowing Russia or China to rule a people to keep peace tween us and them,,,. Guess it right, war causes strange bedfellows. And now we have a president that spouts, America first out of one stupid lip, and boasts praise for communistic dictators out the other. Well Mr Trump,,,choose one. You're alienating our long time friends and allies. And swooning over the ones that caused the problems to begin with. Remember one thing. In a dictatorship, there's no pardons or impeachment. It's one dark night you just disappear. There is no honor amongst thieves.

What's always so odd is, these loud mouth politicians and instigators always say," we need to fight,". Yet they go hide in their mansions and offices, while all the pions get their butts shot, beat and do the same to others. Where was trump , to rump Jr, and rude Giuliani, after they said, we need to fight? They're hiding in their refuges watching the fight, they started,,on TV. Grinning ear to ear like the loonies they are.

@heavierthanlight7173 I was born in Germany myself. Came here at 4 in '56, with my mom. But I consider myself an American, but a human being first. We all should want the best for all of us animals of earth. People like rump care truly only of themselves and maybe their family. They use people and toss them when done with them. It's so very obvious. People that want him there, in office, are using him or fools, thinking he gives a crap about them. His past and daily actions show his true self. How anyone thinks him sincere, I'll never know. Maybe the fools thing. It's one thing to believe in someone, another to be their lapdogs. Do their dirty work. Thanks for caring. Like you, I am saddened when I see people of any country, demeaned, hurt, given no rights, live in poverty, anything besides a democratic society.
When criminals use the system for their own personal gain at others expense, the law has to step in. That's why the forefathers here wrote the constitution. To make sure even elected officials, followed the rules.

Come on David,, the only people that said anything crappy about Obama, was typical Obama haters. The same ones that gave him grief his whole terms.
And,, as usual, the Republicans are pulling the same hypocritical crap they always do. As for 6 years,,, do you honestly believe Trump thinks he's going to change the whole constitutional history of our government? This is his game play he talks like this for affect. To get a rise. No one that's been in life, dealing with billions of dollars in his lifetime,, could truly be that stupid. Sure,, he's no genius either, but it's Iike his followers. He knows they're gullible goof balls. But they give him power and feed his ego in the process. Do you think he's gonna invite them to Mar Lago? Hell no. I'll bet more than half his bullshit is shtick. To get publicity and rile up the masses. His whole life is,,, Look at me! The old saying, even bad publicity is good publicity,, is what he lives by.

Hell David, his voters are for most part, not the cream of the crop of ,,thinkers? I'm no scholastic genius by any stretch,,and a low to mid income person as well, but I saw Trump's past, his audacity during the debates, and his pompous behavior in general and knew he was full of s--t. Not fit to be the president of the United States. His followers have either, something to gain financially,,from him being in office,,or are just blind to facts and like believing a used car salesman, that, I'd never lie to you,,this is the car for you,, he can tell no lies. He is a true salesman. Im shocked he can claim college educated. Middle school, at best.

@msstrauss5136 Your probably right. I just wrote the comment because I'm a little tired of the predictions made just to sensationalize and make a video. I appreciate David and his fight for the truth, but just seems sometimes he and others,,,, do a video, just to do it,, for views, obviously,, and the points seem more opinion, than fact. With idiot man and his sleazy family and friends in the White house, I guess I want factual reporting to get these people out. Not just vids, to make money.
I just think Trump knows when people in the white house get interviewed by Mueller,, but knows they know nothing that can hang him.
But you're probably right too. He thinks no one in his employ would ever squeal on him.

When you try asking why, all that happens is anger. Why? A few reasons. Fox says, newsmax says, and yes, I'm not stupid, I believe it and it's u that's wrong because I'm not stupid, quit telling me I'm stupid for believing that what I I believe is stupid.
I've had several comment battles on utube, and some end with that same answer. My belief is not stupid, I trust trump, newsmax, fox,etc and I'm an intelligent person.

I did fact check that both of the situations and they certainly don't prove trump answers any,,, questions clearly and directly. But come on David. He's not speaking to anyone but, HIS, followers. Who really don't care what he says, as long as he says it.
As for illegal immigration. It most certainly affects my field as a carpenter. And it also affects all trades where labor is involved. And it has been for decades. But the last several years, have gotten out of control. And yes, it may not matter to you. Or most office type jobs. But it certainly affects the trades and construction jobs. I've been in the business since 76. And from the 90s on. It's gotta continually worse. Many construction crews, do not speak English at all. And people say how hard they work. They don't work any harder than i ever did. And, they tend to make more mistakes and work has to be, redone. Not always. But more than I remember in my early years.
I'm not against people trying to do better in they lives. But if it takes jobs from locals. That's WRONG.

I agree it seems doubtful that they'll ever prosecute trump. But I'm not giving up that they're making sure it's a slam dunk. There have been too many starter campaigns to get trump and they've fallen flat. Hopes up,,, then a direct nose dive to trump laughing at the prosecutors. I'm sorry if you have no patience, but for 2 years they tried, but between the Senate right wing majority and about 40% of Americans, being in his corner,,, the attempts were DOA, being patient is worthwhile. If it doesn't happen by june or July, and we still hear nothing,, then we can bitch. Because if the Republicans win a majority again,,, there will never be a passable charge. The Republicans will just not hear anything, and then trump will walk for sure.

Hey David, I'm glad you going to interview Kamala Harris. I do assume she has future plans to run again for president. I still remember her lambasting of poor Joe Biden when she ran in '20. And was kinda curious why he ended up choosing her for VP after that little display of creepery. But I know he promised to pick a black woman, so he did. Anyway, maybe it'll show her feelings to the American people. Because I have a feeling, some people who think Joe is too old, don't like her, and believe if they win, she'll end up being president for the remainder of his term. But I believe she's qualified to be both VP and president, her priorities may not be as general as Joe's. She may choose to be more, black lives matter, oriented. In other words, race oriented. Where Joe definitely has the empathy for all needy people, she may be more lopsided. Maybe? Kinda just get that feeling. Especially after her tirade on Joe, during the primary debates.
Anyway good luck with the interview.

No more than blaming every car accident on the car. Us humans have to take some responsibility.

We never,,, discussed politics when I grew up. When you're a kid, thats not important at all. If it is, somethings wrong with you.
When I got older, got drafted and did my military hitch, it didn't seem to matter who was in power. You had to do what happened, no matter what. Raising a family, I worked my ass off as a carpenter and builder, politics was the last thing on my mind, because who ever was in charge, mm my life hardly changed. My point is, for average Americans, not much changes. I do lean more left, but also agree, you can't give everything real progressives want. You have to be more in the middle and question everything.

@billycarson Sure, McConnell is most definitely got support from rich turds living large off of backs of the working class. Don't know about trump though, being in that gang. McConnell knew trump was a flake, but he also knew how to play him. Trump thinks many in the republican party are against him and doesn't trust any of them that spoke against him, in any way. As long as trump has the percentage of loser worshippers he has, having certain people, even Republicans, in his corner doesn't matter to him. He's a sick f,k, and only cares about#1, himself.

@redrick8900 Well first off, I did check out the statistics for Kentucky, before spouting off. And I don't know how smart or ignorant, Kentucky's people are. And you are right that the median income is average as compared to many states in the US. That is where I got my information, but didn't do a comparison. I live in Florida, and we too have an republican government. So I don't brag our statistics either.
I blast McConnell, because he's a slug, no matter where he is state senator. As far as what I've seen and heard from him, he's more than happy to be rich while most anywhere remain low income. That sucks, no matter who the lawmaker is. Maybe you're a republican, so politics sways your opinion. Mine is, a lawmaker that works for the benefits of the majority of us, is whom I would want in office. Not one that, talks out of both sides of his or her face, or plays a game with the Constitution for self benefit and wealth. In my eyes and many others, that's McConnell. Mostly because he's been senate mouth piece since the 80s. And seems to do everything in his power,to keep the average Joe , in his place. And he threatens any republican with backlash, if they don't follow his wants.
I took basic at Knox. I know Kentucky is a beautiful hilly green state. No argument there. But just as FL is sunny and warm, the state doesn't control the type of people who live there, or are it's government.
I'm sorry if I said, the people of Kentucky are morons. Thats just a generalization, probably far from correct. And, if McConnell has aided in getting needed funds for the state and, they do right by said funds, that's his job and he should be doing it. But just like here, you never truly know where all the money goes.
Personally I believe thats the biggest problem all over the country. They get money from the federal government, our tax dollars,,,and then what percentage goes to the cause and not the administration.
Anyway, I truly have no hate or bad feelings towards Kentuckians. We all just wonder how such seemingly monsterous politicains get reelected.
I see it here. In our governor our last governor turned senator. Both, self serving presidential wannabe s, looking for that next advancement. Then what do they do,,more of the same.
1
-
@redrick8900 Aw crap. Heck with you. I didn't lie. I looked up Kentucky statistics and saw a 29,000 dollar annual income average. Trust me thats nothing to brag about. Other statistics weren't ,,pow! Out of the park. So that's what I sited. My whole point was , McConnell is an asshole. And how he keeps getting reelected is hard to figure, considering hearing he's not so beloved by his constituents.
My feelings about him being an a, hole, comes from year's of hearing him sit on plans by any Dem president,to make things better for the average 29,000 a year, and less, breadwinner s, al because he,,,hates Dem presidents.
That was my whole point. So just take a leap Red.

I'm so sick of the false bullshit accusations from both sides. When the hell did this constant hate start? When trump bashed Hillary? When McConnell hit Obama? When McConnell went after Bill Clinton? I don't know. But someone set off a back and forth hate attack and it's sickening. Our country is falling apart from the top down. Our supreme Court, people who are supposed to be beyond reproach, are a joke. The Congress gets nothing done that is beneficial, without a fight and even then, it gets taken down when the power changes. WTF?
Come on. Cocaine in the part of the White House that ordinary people go! And the right says it's Joe's stash? This crap is beyond stupid. And you wonder why Hillary called trump people, " deplorable"? And don't give us this crap, dems do it too. Yes, we went after trump with a passion. But he started it with his actions. And now the Republicans are going after Biden like attack dogs. For stuff that truly goes on all the time. But the right is soooo petrified of the trump nutbags. Anything goes making accusations. Anything. Clinton had his Monica, now Joe has his Hunter.
At least trump only had, Putin, Kim Jong -un, Stormy Daniels, Pussy grabbing, E Jean Carrol, Jan 6 th and now the stolen records oh and now more traitorous showing classified information to...anyone he wants.
Damn, trump wins here, hands down.

Hey David,,. I watched her utube video and though I agree he's a jackass,, she admitted how thrilled she actually felt being on the reporting group that ran around with Trump during the campaign. Unfortunately I think some of the,,, negative aspects of her story were or may have been a bit of story grabbing to sell her book. Her interview she made with her husband, sounded a bit like, the boy who cried wolf while admitting how ," can't remember the word she used," but that being in that environment a had an alluring draw. She acted like she was surprised Trump picked her to be one of the reporters to hang with them,,and couldn't understand why. In one picture she, Trump and another person were posing for the pictures,, and we could all see why. Me thinks she speak with forked tongue,, slightly.

@Etb Etb I wouldn't be so hasty to believe Barr's statement or half baked memo. If nothing else, Trump is a conman,an all out liar and half a dozen other disgusting things. He may just have bitten off more than his butt hole mouth can chew, being president. And now that he's lost his House republican ass kissers majority,,, he's got people asking questions instead of saying,,yes sir master. Mueller went by the book because he's a proven Patriot and goes by the law. Unlike Teflon orange,,that has never gone by the law and the only time he's patriotic is at his rallies when he hugs the flag and gives that shit eaten grin,, laughing all the way to to bank with his greedy ass. Hopefully soon enough he'll get bitch slapped by Justice,,like he deserves.

Come on David, the Republicans ended up with 16 entrees in 2016,right? And is this what they, had in mind then too? If this is a DNCC, game to bump Bernie,, off the pier,,, it probably wouldn't work anyway. As the field thins, the people will fall in line with the last person standing,,, and support them. That is if this so called progressive, movement doesn't stone the person, if it's not Bernie. Come on,,, the progressive movement wants Bernie, above all else. And would probably write his name on the ballot, just to picket, if he loses the nomination allowing Trump another 4 years.
I have several republican friends and customers that, hated Trump in '16, but wrote in someone else, rather than vote for Hillary. As independent s and democrats, we have to stick together in 2020, no matter who gets the nod, if we want Trump out. It's going to be hard enough to keep him from winning the electoral college vote again. Which I think was rigged or paid off anyway.

Well people in the audience that did applaud are wearing masks. So not sure the meaning here.
As for the guy. All the tats and the hair coloring in the back,,,seems like a rabble-rouser. Also, seems like a lot of his gripe, was backward or hypocritical. No freedoms are lost wearing a mask when a virus is running rampant. I guess if there was a fire and they handed out respirator s, she'd say,,, I can't wear it,, I've got a medical reason. That's exactly right. Just because the 2nd, says right to bear arms for protection,, doesn't mean you have the right to carry a weapon of mass destruction. A revolver should be enough to fend off most attackers . A single shot rifle or shotgun would be plenty to hunt or fend off attackers. Average citizens do not need semiautomatic or especially automatic weapons. My sister committed suicide with a 32 Cal pistol. She was able to buy it with a driver's license of a friend..some friend. A 22, can disable or even kill a man. A 38 Cal. For sure. No f.n average person needs an m16, ak47, m9 etc. They get them cause they're cool.. that's all. The weapon used at parkland FL was a 22 Cal, m16 looking rifle. From what I read . Obviously this weapon was made like this to mimic the military m16, but uses 22 Cal ammo. Damage isn't as great but each squeeze of the trigger is potentially deadly. So why the need for semiautomatic or automatic weapons for average gun enthusiasts? Their cool,, that's all. I'm sure if America is ever attacked. People will be able to get ahold of an ak, or something quick enough.
1
-
TheMaskedGamer Of course. Any weapon or gun that carries more than one round at a time could be considered a semiautomatic, because every time you pull the trigger it shoots. Even a revolver can carry 5 to eight rouunds but unless you're very proficient at reloading, it could take several minutes to reload after you've shot those rounds, giving people that much more time to escape or defend against the shooter. Semiautomatic guns and rifle's generally have clips of preloaded rounds and come in extended round capacity, tripling the amount of bullets per load. No one has time for escape or defense. The NRA and actually no one else has seemed to bring up this point. The second amendment would be covered but we would have multi rounded over volumed semiautomatic weapons out of the hands of average citizens. People could still protect themselves, but it would curb the ability of people who crack and maybe attack innocent people to hurt or kill as many people at one time. There's no way to protect everyone, all the time, and there will always be people that go over the edge and have the desire to take it out on others, but if we use common sense and less greed, we maybe don't have to turn our country into a place where the military walk the streets with automatic weapons and check everyone for papers . The NRA doesn't give a crap about the second amendment,,they are only interested in the payout. It's 5 million , members pay a nice annual fee, they get kickback from weapons manufacturer's etc, to keep a handful of administration and ms spokeswoman rolling in dough. You don't afford to pay out millions to politicians for their support by having no money. Think about all this next time you hear, We're doing this for the second amendment. Bullshit.

@meetmando Oh hell yes, on the fact that now, already,,,not even sworn in, and the people who run the special interest on the left, are already bitchen that he's not doing enough for them. 👻!!! I kinda knew that was going to happen with the progressive haha, group. But black voters are saying, not enough black representatives are being chosen for positions in the cabinet, I'm not sure about others. People don't see, he's gonna have his hands full, for a year at least, getting the mess that rumps leaving behind. I'm truly wondering if there doesn't need to be a huge change in government. Especially when you have a hundred million people, all thinking about themselves and their individual wants being met.
And u mentioned the forefathers designing the government to have the three branches as deterrents against a monarchy? Look how the Senate has power, neither the house nor the president has. And when one party owns the Senate, that party is the decider whether things pass, or sit on the desk forever. What's that about? Just like supreme Court Justice s. That's totally f,d up. Yet it goes on and on. The Republicans cause all the crap, but they never seem to own any of their mess. Disgusting.

@kanespencer9256 Sorry my friend. Though you may be right about both parties having their issues, Trump is no way in hell,,,the answer. He has 0 interest in sharing the spotlight with a decent administration. He hires totally the wrong people for very important positions. Then if he hires anyone that may be capible , he fires them if they don't agree with him in any way. Bottom line is, he should have never been president, pence should have never been VP because just coattailed Trump. Trump is not a good,,, anything. His ego and self-preservation above all else, is not attributes of a person that serves the people. That is unfortunately the problem with, probably most,,,of the politicians. Maybe not most,,but many. Why else would 99% of Republicans in the Senate and even the House, stand lock step with Trump. They don't want his cult to be down on them, cause why,,,,they want to keep their cushy prosperous jobs. Where else you gonna make almost 200 thou a year plus perks, for working as little as they do. Plus rule over people. How many of the Senate and House are lawyers or doctors or something professional where they could have made a good living,,,but choose to be a politician?
We definitely need political people,,,but honest, unselfish, caring people, not like Trump, mcconnell, and the like.

Sorry David, but I don't consider you the average, ' Latino", you want to say you are. I'm like you, in the way that i came here from Germany, with my mom and my adopted dad that was an American soldier, stationed over in Germany in 1956. I think you say you came here at age 4 yourself. So you really grew up, an American, just like me. You speak perfect English now. You obviously got educated in America. And now you probably have a really good net worth, from American capitalism. I followed in my adopted father's footsteps and became a carpenter. So obviously my net worth is far less than yours. Your podcast obviously benefits you considerably. Because you vacation regularly, out of the US. And you drive cars I can only read about. But that's not my point, as much as you seemingly put yourself in the category of an immigrant, just to make yourself seem like the average immigrant. I guess that's my point. No offense to your success. I'm sure you put a lot of time into your financial and educated success, but kinda think about millions of immigrants, that work hard too. But never see the kind of financial success you've been able to make for yourself.
P.S. I'm not one of the hate stuff you get. Your show is informative. But you do repeat much of the same information and topics, all the more liberal channels put out every day. Thanks David.

These same aholes would be the exact, " just like trump did on the 6th," sit in the background somewhere and hide from the actual combat,, they want U,, to lay down your lives for. Remember? We need to go down to,,,the capital,, and I'll be there with you.... And where was he? Back at the white house in his high chair, probably chomping at a bucket of chicken, getting his ego stroked, by his crazy cultists, doing his bidding, as usual.

I think u hit the nail on the head when you said, the Biden presidency isn't a day to day drama. News, including you utube news analysers, are nothing without drama, controversy, daily squabbling in the political world. And Biden and most true working,,,, politicians,,,, don't wanna play games. And that's boring. Healthy,,,,for the country and the world,,,but boring news. Why do you think meteorologists, seem to love hurricanes and big weather days. They come out in white,no tie,no coat, shirts. Sleaves rolled up,,,and on a high like they just went on a caffeine trip. Same with daily news. Trump is the devil in an oversized suit, but he's great for ratings and you tube news readers analysers. More stories to pay the bills.

Just always ask them why then they voted for a guy that they knew, was a jerk, a liar, a womanizer, a bigot, etc. And still knowing exactly what he is,,,, are gonna vote for him again.
But when I ask commenters that call me names, after I make a point about Trump,,, what has he truly done that, he promised, or said he would do for average Americans,,, they really have nothing to say.
His rallies are nothing but kudo begging s for approval and getting people worked up on lies. So he can absorb their anger and applause. He truly gets rejuvenated by the cheers and sheep like approval, they give him.

That's exactly right. Dump is such a bully baby. He got offended when a new on the block little girl gets chosen over him, as a front page article of time mag. So as the obsessive compulsive baby he is, he couldn't help but to give her one of his, tweets from hell. He went mild,,,for him,,,but still couldn't hold back.
I still have a little problem with his seeming inability to not tweet rubbish about people, that truthfully, don't affect him. I'm so torn that it is, or is not , an act.
If he is truly upset about these miniscule things, how doe's he bounce right back and go to a ball game, or do that signing of the trade deal,,and seem as laid back as ever? His mood swings are just so ,,,,subtle? Almost phoney.

Geoff Baumgartner No,,no bubble. Just he's a salesman with no scruples. He and his team saw Americans disillusioned after Obama,,who they thought didn't give the average Joe what they thought he was going to. Trump played off that and got poor and lower middle class believing his bull. Heck Trump probably believed it himself. But when he got in by hook or crook,, he got caught up in the same crap all presidents do. I honestly think he thought Hillary was going to win. True he's always lied and cheated with his business,so it comes natural to do it now. He is no doubt a scumbag as men go. Rich boy, sliver spoon jerk. But you weren't fooled,,im hoping you didn't vote for him. Just that enough people did and thats it. Probably won't be the last time. Wasn't the first.

Unfortunately, there is so much crap, going on in Mexico. If it was so normal there, people wouldn't even want to come to the US for the sometimes crappy below minimum wage jobs, etc. Drug production and movement, wouldn't be so controlling there if somehow they could get better jobs and or business opportunity s there. Its always been my thoughts that as a great helpful country as we're supposed to be,, help countries that flounder in keeping their own people working and happy, so they wouldn't maybe have the problems they do, and have to go outside the country to find the ability to support themselves. Us helping them, help themselves, may be better all around. Remember the addage,,Give a man a fish,,he eats for a meal. Teach a man to fish,, he'll be fed forever. Something like that.

At least you showed the fact that moving or leaving the country, is costly as hell. And 60% of Americans could never afford to do it. Plus, what the hell are you going to do when you get there? Do you honestly believe, they want you, first of all? Not necessarily. And from the sound of your words, you're speaking to minorities. Gays, Hispanics, Trans. People who are targeted by trump and other haters.
My concern are retired low income. Or just low income. Because people like Rick Scott, and even Musk, are talking about getting rid of SS, SSI and any other retirement programs. These are people who cannot move, leave or adapt.
I'm not a religious person. Because trump winning proves God is cynical. But if there is a caring God, I pray he puts restrictions on the insanity of this egotistical, maniacal coming administration.

@lydias2012 Oh yes, I agree. I don't blame him. It was easier to learn English well, instead of having 2 totally different languages in your head when you're growing up.
And being a mediocre student anyway, was probably the best thing to do.
My son ended up marrying a girl that had an Italian dad and a mother that though she was America born, lived in Italy with obviously her Italian husband.
So when our grandkids were born, my " daughter in law", would constantly shove the Italian words for everything at them. I felt the same way my dad did too. But never pressed it. They speak English well enough now as teenagers, and don't know how much Italian they understand, but it's good to have even the basics in your brain. Though all the relatives on her side speak English just fine, they'll have the fundamentals in them should they want to or need to speak it. I guess I do wish I'd have either been older, when we came here, or mom would have kept me a little up on German. It would have been nice to have been in a little with my family in Germany. Though other countries do teach English to their students, because the US is so involved in other countries. Ha.
