  2. We never,,, discussed politics when I grew up. When you're a kid, thats not important at all. If it is, somethings wrong with you. When I got older, got drafted and did my military hitch, it didn't seem to matter who was in power. You had to do what happened, no matter what. Raising a family, I worked my ass off as a carpenter and builder, politics was the last thing on my mind, because who ever was in charge, mm my life hardly changed. My point is, for average Americans, not much changes. I do lean more left, but also agree, you can't give everything real progressives want. You have to be more in the middle and question everything.
