Pretty sad when teachers have to think about protecting the kids from crazies with guns. Its true that our idiot politicains do think more about lobbiests and their money over the people who actually elected them.

keith cunningham I agree, but u can only blame actual guns themselves for the shootings. There are guns in the world,, period. But it is the person,that pulls the trigger, after pointing it at another person. I am all for smart,,gun control,, totally. But you just can't blame it all,,on the gun. No more than blaming every car accident on the car. Us humans have to take some responsibility.

leo lichtveld Trust me, I am not pro gun by any means. And if those statistics are correct, it's not a plus for our country, it's truly horrific. I don't own a gun myself but I also have known people that have owned guns, belonged to gun target clubs and never had an incident,ever. My son and his wife have guns and though I pray never,ever to hear of anything from them. I'm not sure if it's the guns that are the problem as much as our volume of unstable people. I am very much against access to military type for just anyone, and definitely any type guns to anyone that may have thoughts of harming anyone. But it is true our government is bought and paid for by the pro gun lobbiests. This has been a point of concern for many years. There definitely needs to be changes. How many poor innocent people have to pay the price for the greed? I don't know.
