I'm a lifelong Floridian and we've had better times. I would like people to realize... Florida is a state full of northern transplants. I've been here 70 years and I've seen it explode since the 60s. I wasn't big on politics right up until Obama ran. And that was my first time voting. I truly wanted him to win, which I'm sure millions were. But, I'm a carpenter. And I have worked for many people, and many...were transplants from the north, and republican. Like trump, they are people escaping the weather and other things. My point is, Florida isn't like Floridians all. So you can't blame the right wing crap, on Florida folks. But I'm sure there are real Floridians that love trump and Desantrump.

Good show David. I like phone calls because it's nice to hear thoughts from different states. Makes us realize there are thinking people everywhere and not just trump cultists. Thanks 👍

@fords_nothere_100 😂 Yeah, we called them Michiganders. And yes, snow birds, is the perfect nickname. I could always be sure it was a Michigander driving when they just flip on the signal and come on in front of you, even if there's no room. Then I'd scope the plates and, sure enough, Michigan. Always in their land yachts. Cadillacs, Lincoln Town cars. But, those aren't the Florida voters. It's the real transplants I refer to.

@bamaboy7489 The problem is, he's not doing what the people of fla hired him to do. First, he didn't have my vote. Nore my wife. His recent midnight signings about free no permit needed open carry and his 6 week abortion stance, 70% of Floridians did not, vote for. His constant bashing of education, immigration and other personal matters are disgustingly humanely sickening. I'm not up on Chinese land grab here. I've read there have been farm land in the US as a whole, that Chinese billionaires have purchased. One way or another, you cannot tell people who they can sell private property too. Now what anyone does with the property can be monitored and regulated. But as long as they pay the taxes, the property is theirs. It is rather ironic, China doesn't allow non Chinese land ownership. Seems they don't want foreigners to own land in China. That's communism i guess. But see, we aren't supposed to an autocracy or fascists. So people are able to buy property in the US, no matter their nationality. According to what I've read, Chinese property purchasing in the US has been going on for years. Ya know, Greed has created a lot of crap here in Florida. Greed had a lot to do with trying to use the everglades as Homestead, land. No pun intended. And those weren't foreign developers. It makes me wonder the reasoning behind keeping foreign property ownership, out. Desantrump is using decisions he makes for stepping stones to a presidential run. Not because he cares sooo much about his constituents and their needs. Just my opinion.

@bamaboy7489 On the contrary. Biden is doing a lot, for,We The People. Most of his signings have benefited the average American. Gun law's, med laws etc. Nothing he's signing is hurting the average American. Only helping Ukraine, is helping of other countries. I agree, some things are helping a minority. College loan forgiveness. But it's minimal. And giving loan forgiveness to businesses that took the money wrongly, like MTG and Matt Gaetz. That was wrong. But Biden tries not to discriminate. Right wing or left. But he's done more for the average American than any recent president. Many things, he has no control over. It's obvious Desantrump is working only for himself. In his first term, he signed the 21 gun rule, when many republicans did not. He also signed, no drilling off our coasts. But that was his first term. Someone has his ear now with his reelection. And not for the best of the constituents. Not all anyway.
