  1. Because it's not JUST, the price of eggs. It's many, many things. But trust me. If whatever trump could do, to get prices down. It would mean, less humane treatment of producing animals. You can,,,give animals better life conditions, charging a dollar more for eggs, and then give low income folks food vouchers for price hikes. Same with fuel. You don't want to regulate prices? Then give low income people ways to afford, the higher prices. It can be done. For some reason, government doesn't want to do it.

  2. Though it is true, you cannot even buy toothpaste, without asking a clerk to get it for you. BUT! you can go to the meat department and pick up a 20 dollar steak and possibly tuck it in your shirt. Kinda makes not much sense.

  3.  @jwoolman5  Oh so true. You just don't expect it in supposed discount stores like Walmart. Not sure about dollar general or dollar tree. Cigs and tobacco items. Yeah. Drugs, yeah. But 2 dollar toothpaste? Fishy. But, maybe theft of toiletries has skyrocketed? Not sure.
