@jnkenoyer First off, typical. You had more money. Sooo, therefore you had the typical monetary gain from benefits from your job or business profits. As for your SS, how did you have more gain from that, considering Republicans can't wait to cut SS money? Thats truly only one thing then. Money. Which if the fact that you have a retirement income from your place of business, means you were probably doing pretty well before you retired.
For me, my peace of mind is my largest benefit to trump being gone. He was and is, a detriment to internal peace in our country, and his Putin, Kim Jong relationship, amongst every other dictator of the world, was a sure path to democracy failure. I suppose u are one of those that say Biden is the cause of world monetary issues. Considering every free country is having the same problems we are.
Second. Trump screwed us big time with his super ego during the pandemic. I don't know what any other president would have done, but we know for a fact what he did. Nothing, for six months but deny it. And my mom died of related symptoms.
Financially, sure, we are paying more for goods. But we started paying more for certain things with trumps trade wars. TRUMPS TRADE WARS! not Bidens. He lied, as usual,, about the wall, the trade wars bringing in more revenue and a hell of a lot of everything else.
For that, you having a bit more spending cash, is a typical Republican happening. Trump said, I'm not a politician. I won't do the typical Republican or Democrat things. Another lie. Because he followed Moscow Mitch McConnell right down the line of Republican do's.
As for my personal financial tale. I'm a carpenter all my adult life after the Army. I never had an IRA, stocks and any other business affiliated retirement benefits. I did finally get my own license and had my own small one man band remodeling business. I started my business in 92, during Clinton I did great. People probably like u, had money, so I had plenty of work. Then, another republican got elected and I saw work disappear bit by bit until 2008 when the toll of another 8 year republican, threw us or many of us down the tubes. Did you do well then too? Probably.
My point is, trump was no better than any other republican president, but his grifting and sneaky family deals made him more money than ever another president ever did. And it was all underhanded.
I'd say that's good for starters.

@Sombriage Well of course. It costs much money for advertising. The Republicans are desperate to win and will spend, spend, spend. On ads, etc. Plus what the hell does Walker have to do? Throw the ball around a little? His free time is endless. The Senators are supposed to be working, not out running around campaigning. Personally, if voters are too damn stupid to know what's at stake by now, and haven't decided, they're idiots. Or just drawing straws. If you're a Democrat, by now you've seen all u need to know. If you're a republican, you're a puppet probably anyway, and will vote for a penguin if the right wing tells you to. Trump could probably stand there at his rallies and tell his people, " Mr Ed is the guy we want, vote for Mr Ed! '. And they would probably write it in. I don't live in Georgia, so I don't know what Warnock has been doing in the 2 years he's been in office. People should be smart enough to Google, " What has Rev Warnock done, since he's been in office “? What the Warnock campaign has done is say, what he's said. He's for all the opposite of Walker. That should be plenty.
