  1. I'm not going to listen to polls. I've voted by mail already and am hoping we hang on to at least what we have. I got really up in 16, and guess who was the new president. If everyone gets their butts out like in 2020, we've got a chance. Come on Dems, get out and VOTE . Give the Dems their chance.

  2. I'd heard the same people go to every rally and then the crowd is assured to be at least a certain size. And I don't doubt it. And these people are like the main yellers and cheer group, paid to get the ball rolling. We can't imagine the money they spend just to have these rallies. So paying people to go is not outside the bounds of their spending.

  3. @Adam Jacobs You may be right about corporate greed, it's been getting worse instead of better. But I contribute it to the fact that we bounce back and forth between leadership and that the Senate, ruled by predominantly Republicans, namely Moscow Mitch McConnell, not allowing voting on very serious bills that may allow businesses to have their way. Trump boasted, America first, yet more businesses headed for overseas produce, manufacturing savings. All the while cost hikes here. If u recall, costs of appliances, automotives and much else, went up drastically, during his term. So don't go jumping on Obama. As for Clinton. He did want more products exchange and it did create price reduction, but for some reason it caused issues here in some ways. All I know is, during the Clinton terms, i did so much better than I ever have with my one man band remodeling business. Then during George W. I lost my ass. So please don't tell me its not better for average people, during a Dem presidency. I know from experience you're wrong about that. PS. You're right about a country of fools. Look how many idiots seriously want a thug wannabe crook to be reelected. I totally agree with you there.

  4. @Adam Jacobs That may be, but I'm sure those same bankers and many more big business thieves got off with a multitude of sins as well during Republican leadership. Maybe both sides pamper business, but it's the Dems that at least work to try to make changes . Republicans just make excuses and blame Dems for everything. All the while committing the same shit term after term.

It was Republicans during Bush that made the policies. I guess I must be one of those dumb Americans u want to get away from, because logic of the fact that for 8 FULL years, things were better under Clinton, then by what, sheer magic, Bush gradually took the country to a cliff. Republicans had complete power for 8 years under Bush. Because he was president and Mitch McConnell was soul controller if republican senators that were in majority. So NOTHING, got thru that him without his approval. McConnell is a stupid man, corrupt in his hate for Dems yes, but not stupid. So how with all that wisdom and control did in 8 years they not see an ongoing collapse of our economy? Something tells me you're so far left, you've drifted into the far right lane. You're solid standing up for every republican administration and total bashing of the left or even centrists, is definitely obvious. When you stand up for GWs handling of things, under the oversight of Dick Chaney, one of the most crooked VPs we've had in my lifetime. Makes me sense, you're no left leaner. Also, I'm more of a centrist. I see moderation, as the answer. I don't agree with forgiving ALL college loans. Only for people that college didn't make for them the job that gave them an income to afford to pay it back. I didn't agree with free checks for all, for the pandemic time. Etc. I believe government should work. Work to determine needs, and use the tax dollars wisely. The problem is, every time a republican president takes office, whats the first thing they do? Give the wealthy a free ride to more wealth and that includes businesses. Do they do 1 damn thing for the outright benefits of the average American? No! They cutback here they cut back there. But not for the wealthy. Forget it! I'm tired of seeing things for how they've turned out and trying to remember them to explain it. Then hearing nothing but lopsided comebacks that have shown to be totally bullshit. When trump got elected, I was disappointed, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Because he acted like he was going to be different. But he proved instantly, by signing the budget, giving everything Republicans wanted. So you just go on saying you're a leftist, all the while bragging the wonderful accomplishments of the Republican leadership. Im done hearing it.

But the only way to make any kind of change, is to vote, then complain to them if they don't do what they said they would. We do have to remember, there are 300 plus million Americans. You'll never please all of them. No matter what you do.

  8.  @sallysimpson872  Sally, it happens every cycle. Republicans talk and talk and do nothing but elect Republican judges and set up another 4 years of tax exemptions for the upper 10%. Remove any restrictions that keep businesses more honest, like they're ever honest,,, and place restrictions on things they don't want mid to lower income people to have. Then a Dem president has to spend their first 2 years, just getting the shit mess, cleaned up. Like the abortion issue, voters rights and any benefits that lower income people need. Can you believe Skeletor Scott, writing a proposal that everyone should pay tax on things like SS benefits and other programs that keep them able to survive with any dignity they still have. He actually wants to move everyone dependent on aid, into retirement homes. So they can be dealt with easier. Also their funds are totally controlled by people like him. He's a disgusting slug and how he got to where he is in government, I'll never know. Oh!, maybe I do. He's a republican. But you're totally right. Much of the crap Bidens having to deal with, idiot orange, started.
