Wow. Landing in freezing conditions are or seem dangerous no matter what. I can't even drive in frozen road conditions. I'd be curious how much insurance airlines pay. The case expenses must be so extreme. Between deaths and injuries and repair costs, its amazing they stay solvent. I mean accidents even this small has to create millions in payments and damages. Are pilots responsible for financial loss, to some degree? I do understand it's a learning experience as well. But, we still hear about similar accidents like this one, too often. Thanks for another interesting video. 🖖

But it only takes once. I can only imagine the psychological issues a landing like that would have for people who fly very little.

@sharoncassell9358 Yeah, I'd have to say,,, it's a toss of the dice more than we know. I to live in Florida, and the conditions can be extreme.

@JohnDrewVoice Yeah, I know. With the law of averages, accidents with flight are probably truly low,low. Like getting hit by lightning. I'm not scared of flying, but I do respect it. I mean 600 tons being held up by air? Miracles. But like I said. I live in Florida, and we don't know what snow is. And the only ice is in our tea and iced coffee. Haha. Not between the road and the tires. I'm very glad your dad was okay. Thanks for the explanation.
