  1. Yes it seems between the storm and stress related human reaction, the outcome was inevitable. But I did think on landing and take offs, pilots are totally strapped in, including shoulder restraints. So the Capt falling forward on the yoke and throttle, would be very hard to do. Though it seems the only explanation for the throttle to be fully engaged. The yoke i can see, but the throttle? Like u said, once they were committed to touchdown, throttle would be at idle yes? With both hands on the wheel? Anyway, I know hindsight is 20,20. And because the recorder was down, there are no answers. I am highly happy, that everyone survived the initial crash. After that ride, it's a miracle. And with only 1 post accident death, another miracle. Mostly seems everything was due to the weather. I can only imagine the pilots thought, when seeing 0 landing lights. With everything else happening, he had to be in shear panic. I hadn't seen this one.
