It seems we've tried negotiations. But Putin wants it his way or the highway.

@cheeto8960 Oh,, is that right? Negotiations with Ukraine, are what I'm referring to. Not weapons negotiations. When Ukraine and Russia talks were tried, Putin wanted all the marbles. Just as before the attack. He's been spoken with by several different leaders of the world. He's never changed his opinion. This has been boiling for years. He's the attacker. He, is the one that has to pull out. Ukraine isn't attacking Russia. This is why the Russian people almost have no idea what is really happening. We laypeople, may not know the real story. Other than what we see or hear. But it's certainly not the US, that's stopping negotiations.

@cheeto8960 Man, I don't think so. From what I've read, Ukraine has had a long existence of wanting and not wanting to join the EU or NATO. Depending on the association of Ukrainian presidents with Putin, not the US. From what I've read, Putin has had influence over Ukrainian presidents, up until Zelenskyy. So I seriously doubt Putin and Zelenskyy see eye to eye on anything.
