  9. I disagree. Russia is the ultimate continental power. It’s stretched all over Europe and Asia with a lot of connections to other countries and oceans. Their fleet was build for the big war with atomic weapons or hunting enemy’s submarines and never prepared to execute landing operations or establishing air superiority somewhere in the world. The real miracle seems to be their army and airborne, especially the lack to work together as combined arms.
