  1. “The assets are there” is a lie. If so, they could liquidate to payoff deposits. The problem is these assets is highly overvalued. They need to do a mark to market and give haircuts.

  2. It was incompetent idiots in the Biden Administration like Yellen that caused this and other problems. If they don’t lie about inflation and spend like drunken sailors, the Fed would have had a much easier job. This is just the tip of the iceberg that has the potential to create another Great Depression- or worse.
