  1. The same people pushing for these "for profit" prisons are the ones who scream "big government socialism" at anything that helps people. Yet these prisons aren't about saving money, they just provide a company with a guaranteed revenue stream---how's that for "big government?" Part of the money is given as legal bribes (contributions) to politicians to keep the profits flowing.
