@jazzmann1984 Taiwan isn't part of China. Taiwan is its own nation. It's a democracy that respects human rights, and its people want to keep it that way. They saw the abuse that China inflicted on Hong Kong and said "no way!"

China has been acting this way towards Taiwan for decades, with its hostility increasing year after year. China would've done this whether Pelosi went there or not, and we can't let Beijing dictate where our public officials travel.

@aggressive994 It's NOTHING like NATO and Russia. NATO is a defensive alliance. It's NO threat to Russia whatsoever. Putin had no right and no reason to invade Ukraine. He's trying to intimidate his neighbors, but he wound up getting the opposite because now Finland and Sweden are abandoning their long-standing neutrality and joining NATO. Beijing and Taiwan are just like Putin and Ukraine. They both want to invade and conquer.

@jazzmann1984 Are you really that ignorant, or are you just trolling? You know full well that Beijing wants to annex Taiwan. That's why Beijing is conducting so many military drills. It wants to take Taiwan, by force if necessary.

@aggressive994 I'm fully aware of what happened in the past. The US meddled in this hemisphere, while Europe meddled in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. We can't undo the past----but we CAN do something about Russia attacking Ukraine and China's hostility towards Taiwan. Whether you're trolling for Beijing or Moscow, your whataboutism is an epic fail.
