Sorry but the Bible is not what this country is about---we are not a Christian nation. You can worship or not worship as you please. Also freedom of speech is a two-way street. She can express her views and we can respond. I like how so many right wingers preach so much about "freedom" and the right to express political views, yet cry victim if anyone disagrees with them.

John Smith Exactly! This bimbo should ask native Americans, Jews, African Americans, etc. what REAL persecution is. Someone disagreeing with you or mocking you doesn't count.

Muricator bwahahaha, very funny. You can't "persecute our Bill of Rights," only people's individual rights themselves. She on Fox's pity party whining about people who make fun of her and draw comparisons between two religious extremists who want to impose their views on others. She doesn't get the fact that the two pictures look VERY much alike, which is pretty damn funny.

tony starks The Constitution says NOTHING about us being a "Christian nation." It says there isn't a state religion but you can worship how or if you please. It also bans religious tests for public office. "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion..." --Treaty of Tripoli, 1797 (treaties are ratified by the Senate and have the force of law, by the way)

Muricator right wingers like this woman love screaming "first amendment" when someone criticizes them---but that shows how clueless they are and how they don't really believe in freedom of speech after all. The First Amendment says the government can't control what you say---this does NOT mean that she can have her say and no one can respond, for that would violate OUR right to freedom of speech. Here she is, just like the others, having a persecution complex because she expressed her views in public and someone else disagreed with her.
