Trump did the same thing to Reince Priebus. Trump told Priebus to his face that he would give him a chance to resign and have a graceful exit. Priebus left Air Force One and by the time he got into a car, Trump tweeted that he'd been fired. Trump talks like a tough guy, but he's a coward and treats people like crap. Even total sycophants don't last around the man-child Trump.
