Corporate America is screwing its workers over with the idea that it improves their bottom line. Two-thirds of our economy is consumer driven, so if corporations paid their workers enough to live on the national economy and the companies themselves would actually do better because people would have some disposable income they could use to buy things. The workers would also be more productive because they'd be happier and healthier.
