@MEXPRG There are no "100% American" cars, they all have varying amounts of parts and assemblage in more than one nation. The highest percentage "American" car in parts and labor has a foreign name on it. Not only is your idea not possible, it would also would violate nearly every treaty we have on trade----other nations would respond with tariffs and quotas and American farmers wouldn't be able to sell crap overseas. Trade wars = worldwide economic depression.
