  1. There's no "parliamentary reason" for this. Cruz is grandstanding because he can't get his way---on a bill that has no chance of being passed as written, or of being signed into law. He actually expected Harry Reid to suddenly ignore the rules and require 60 votes to amend a bill---for no reason other than Cruz wants it that way. The man is just a carnival barker, but the carnival left town a week ago and he has nothing to sell.

  2. Cruz is "filibustering" a House bill that HE himself called on the House to approve. He compared those who disagreed with him as Nazi sympathizers--so that includes Republicans, right Ted? Ted Cruz is a one-man circular firing squad.
