@quizerry , At first I thought you were some PR corporate hack, but you don't know the difference between "your" and "you're," so instead you must be an ignorant fool and a corporate stooge. After the Valdez, Exxon spent 20 years fighting in court and BP would've done the same. It has NOT "taken responsibility" in that it lied about how much oil was spilling and restricted information. If BP was responsible it wouldn't have done such a botched job of this in the first place.

"the point isn't who is responsible," the point is Bachmann and other GOPers want to let BP avoid paying for its mess and fight it in the courts for decades the way Exxon did after the Exxon Valdez. She says there's nothing wrong with the president going after BP and creating a fund---but she's already attacked him for these things. Bachmann is such a lunatic she made Bill O'Reilly the sane one in the room.

@jvforever72 , There was no guarantee that BP it would have paid all that it owed or do it fast enough to save people like fishermen who have boat payments to make but can't go out and fish. If BP came up with the idea of a fund in the first place, then it takes all of these complaints from people like Bachmann and you and tosses them out the window. First you call our Harvard educated president a dunce, then you hope Bill O gets into a car accident. You really need to grow up.
