  1. Baby boomers were born on third and think they hit a triple. They grew up at a time when the economy was strong AND corporations and the wealthy were paying a much larger share of federal revenues, and that money was spent on YOU and your generation, building infrastructure (such as the highway system) and funding a much larger share of education. That was before the lobbyists and bribes (campaign donations) rigged the economy for the corporations and the wealthy---and people like you think it's just fine, as long as you got yours.
