  2. Hair on screen  5c failed in the sense that Apple was expecting 5c to outsell 5s 8:2 but it was the opposite. Since more money can be made on more expensive phones per phone, even if margin stays the same, Apple just kept pushing up on the high end, ignore efforts on making new lower ends, and simply let older models become entry level phones. But I think Xs and Xs Max is the ceiling. I don't think there's a market for even higher tier phones. However, if Xs Max outsell Xr 8 to 2. We are going to see a model starting at $1.4k in 2020.
