  1. It’s not worth it. I married someone who went around telling all her friends she wanted to marry me the moment she saw me. I provided to the point of selling my investments at the worst time possible. Because I love our kids more than anything else. It ended with her making me as miserable as possible as her revenge for being unhappy ( because all dads at school were providing 200k+ a year, twice of what I was providing ). It eventually ended with her filing for divorce to withhold our kids for extortion. I had no choice but to just leave. It’s been a decade since our divorce. My wealth grew 8 fold since. I’m currently chilling at my $2m vacation home in Hokkaido. If I had stuck around, I’d be broke by now and hated by our kids. Not sure if I have to thank her for the divorce. I miss my kids but I wouldn’t be sitting on a $9mil assets today if she didn’t force me to leave.

  2.  @BxBL85  It’s just a vacation home. I do nothing there. Just enjoy strolling in woods and parks. I made my wealth from investing in U.S. companies. My $2m vacation home is paid for by Apple stocks I purchased decades ago for less than $45k.
