It’s science that observable in our real world. “Selfish Gene” pretty much observed the same phenomenon, our human genome doesn’t care about you and me as individual, it will sacrifice you and me to protect as many of its clones as possible. When you fully understand it, it’s kind of common sense. Back in cavemen days, tribes where individuals are only concerned with self interests and compete with other tribes with resources, their population will dwindle over time after each natural disaster, however, tribes that work as a community and cooperate with other tribes will be able to survive and flourish after disasters. We are descendent of those that carried that genome code that allowed them to populate entire planet. Even if you never know about this, it’s built in you already. This is just science explaining why we are the way we are.
