Like how Russia lied, claiming its troops were just on drills when they were actually mobilizing for invasion; like how Russia flooded Ukraine with fake news of Ukraine's president fleeing to U.S., etc, etc. It's strategies China would likely use to weaken Taiwan's defense and morale before actual invasion. It's meant to start a conversation about strengthening Taiwan against such malice. It's not about the actual war.

Ad shown is him saying loving Hong Kong, loving China, loving your people, loving liberty, are not contradictory and can be solved without violence. The other half not shown here is Li inferring to a poem by a son of Emperor Wuzetian, an Emperor who murdered her sons to maintain her power. That ad was meant to remind CCP that Hong Kong isn't a threat to CCP's power and need not be "plucked" to maintain CCP's power.

That never happened in human history. Didn't Ukraine and Russia had talk after Russia annexed Crimea? Where are we now? History has taught us, wars can only be stopped by making the agressor fail. It's the ONLY way.

  35. U.S. consumer price hike is a win for U.S. of A Americans don't pay more to China, they paid less. Price hike doesn't result in higher income to pay more overall, it result in buying less products but spending the same overall. Which means less import. Which means, of money Americans paid for Chinese goods, money supporting CCP is less than the past, and those "lesser amount" goes to Uncle Sam.

  36. Lockdown is a wrong move. China did it wrong, Italy blindly follows. United States has the capacity to separate those infected to be in hospitals, those who could be infected to be at home, and those perfectly healthy to roam free. Such that overlap of their spaces is minimal, and spread contained at minimal. Which also will not paralyze society while keeping clear trace of where viruses are. China and Italy will eventually be lifting lockdown of people who were never infected and people whose immune system are winning and recovering. Which will start yet another wave of the healthy getting infected by those recovering. U.S. acted late, but U.S. being U.S., has the capacity to do it right. Get your best epidemiologists on board, they'll know what to do. China's "disease control team" consisted only foreign affair diplomats and career propaganda experts.

Russia and China's state media SIMULTANEOUSLY lied that President of Ukraine had fled Ukraine, and Ukrainians were welcoming Russian soldiers, when invasion started. While China's bots were also flooding Taiwan's internet with "your president will run away like he did too." Fortunately, U.S. commissioned Microsoft to secure Ukraine's web 2 months prior. So THEIR scheme to induce an immediate public surrender didn't take off. Very first notice from China's embassy to local Chinese students was to display their Chinese flags. Why? China expected Russian army to be in control in a day or two. Then China's embassy backtracked and told those students to avoid any display nationality identification. Why? It didn't go as planned.
