 @yurigagarine6998 You won't need to find a new hobby. These sort of preachy games aren't the only games available. There are competitors who undetstand gaming.

@sten260 That's not how economics work. There is a demand, there will be supply. It's just that these agenda-drive agenda-focused games will be competed out by creators who really understand gaming.

@yurigagarine6998 Don't underestimate the power of free market. Let free market do its magic. These activists will be competed out. For every ramen business that believe their customers are bigots, there are a hundred other ramen businesses that understands their customers just want a good ramen after work.

@yurigagarine6998 IBM was God in the 70s. Then came Apple and Microsoft. Microsoft ruled anything computer related, then came Google. Sony's partnership with Nintendo failed, it gave birth to PlayStation. Nokia and Motorola rule cellphone scene in the 90s. There will always be competition.

@yurigagarine6998 Corporations answer to shareholders, not activists. Corporations can't make games without funds. When gamers don't buy their games, funds don't fall from the sky. They will have to resort to making less games. All while their competitors are making games that sell, gaining more funds to make more games.

@sten260 Yes. But demand for great games will still exist no matter how much those agenda-driven games suck. And someone will supply those proper games, thereby phasing out agenda-driven games.

@yurigagarine6998 It tanked. Compare it to S&P500 for past 5-year chart. "Go woke, go broke" phrase exist for a reason. Eventually, Disney will be financially pressured to drop wokeness. It's not going to last. Just let free market do its magic. Studio that made Stellar Blade was a nobody when wokeness was forced into gaming.

@sten260 Yes. Two years ago, if someone told me between a game by ShiftUp and a RockSteady Arkham game, I would play the one by ShiftUp, I would have told him that's impossible. Yet, here we are. But if Unknown 9 is a great game, I would be playing Unknown 9 instead of Stellar Blade. In business, you snooze, you loose. These people think their games aren't selling because gamers aren't "inclusive". But it's because of their competitors understands gaming. They will continue to fail to see it's their competitors making their products unattractive, and hence, continue to fail.
