+aregua1 Asian women aren't better than American women. It's just America gives women the power to ruin men's lives for self interests. Give Asian women the same, and they'll do just the same. Just watch.

@tallest4eva I don't understand this mentality of "U.S.A. have it worse". You think people in China can claim Xi pissed on some Russian whores without legit claims? Imagine yourself handling that false accusation or years. And that isn't even criticism, that's outright slandering. Americans are ALLOWED to keep calling Trump racist when he isn't. Try that on Xi, in China, and talk to me ... from prison.

@dailcold U.S. was doing fine before pulling China to be part of global economic player. U.S. will be fine without China. China is toast without U.S. It’s not the same both ways.

@刘强-n3d Jack Ma was born in China and lived in China. He was what Chinese dream of becoming. He now lives in Japan.

@eliteculture1519 As Hopper in Bugs Life said, "First rule of leadership: Everything is your fault!" The world burdens U.S. with responsibilities and then whine and whine about U.S. This is also what China doesn't understand about U.S. being the global leader. U.S. didn't force itself on others to grab the role. The world put U.S. in that spot because no one else could. China is never going to a global leader.

@happyclam1266 It isn't about getting in bad situations. If there is due process, it doesn't really matter if you ended up in bad situation. For me, I'm not visiting there. I can't help just speaking my mind, and I'm too stubborn. There's always a chance of CCP being overthrown, so never say never.

@Yangpeiling-de-zhangfu Chinese Nobel Laureates all either became U.S. citizens or are in the process of becoming one.
7
Women don’t look for security. Women look for being provided with security. There is a huge difference.
7
@ric6074 That’s only because products shipped from China to Europe and North America are almost tariffs free. Take that away and China has no advantage.
6
@lulc4694 Consumer market exists only when a population has disposable income. Move assembly out of China, those jobs move to other countries and it will be those countries’ people having disposable income. Consumer market is where job opportunities are abundant.
6
@zetta1200 China just assemble products. Components aren’t from China. Also, both iOS and Android are from U.S.

@yeetteey7445 Housing price to local annual income is 3:1 for U.S. It is 35:1 for China. Americans don’t force themselves to live like beggars just to gather a lifetime worth of savings to put a down payment for a home for their kids, which their kids still need to work for decades to pay off. Living expenses is not lower for China when compared to disposable income. It’s a lot higher.
6
@SgtPotShot You comment did not make sense. They were mad at being humiliated by Chinese government's inaction.

@jimzorn3853 My dad was in China for a decade plus during 90s to 00s. He was there to run factories. He was in charge of quality control. The bad stuff he experienced there only happens in China. He has worked in Taiwan, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, for either close to 10 years or decades. It’s not just bad quality control. I am talking about armed soldiers barging into their factories and robbed all their computers.

@captaincabbagio +1 Yes. I forgot to mention, home purchase in China is basically just pre-paying 70 years of rent.
4
@gimmegaming5345 Half your wage going to an average house? Home price to annual income for China is 35:1, and their “home” is a tiny condo. In China, developers and the state are in bed to cook GDP so developers are protected by the state to rip off home buyers. Many Chinese are paying mortgage and debt for a home they bought but never got. It’s called rotten-tail-building. It’s buildings that will never be finished because banks illegally paid developers prior to homes being handed over and developers just stop construction. You have no idea how bad it is in China. Buying a tiny condo that’s worth 35 years of your income and never got it but bound to that debt. Not to mention ownership ends after 70 years because everything every land is technically owned by CCP.

@ldc376 My point was, the role of global leader was never planned by U.S. or any country. It happened organically. Just like a group of people who survived a plane crash and over time, there'll be some leadership to get everyone back home. But no one, including himself, planned on him taking that role when they boarded that plane. It just happened. How China thinks, is it can muscle its way to boss everyone around. That's not how it works. Hitler tried. It doesn't work.

On purpose

You underestimate how brainwashed they are. They believe China is far, far faarrr ahead of Taiwan and HK.
3
@Chrispaul-d5r Li Keqiang said more than half of China's working age population makes less than 1k rmb a month and can barely afford rent. The thing about China is its sheer size. Its top 20% living like m middle class Americans, is visually the same as entire population of U.S. living well. There's that 80% of China's population which most don't see.
3
@jimzorn3853 Which foreign investors warned others of risks of assets being locked from access by local government in Denmark, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Finland, Canada, New Zealand, what have you?
2
Yeah, but it would been better if we came out the video with a finer understanding of hot Chinese girls.
2
@e2rqey It’s not average, it’s not half, and it’s not US$1,000. It’s 1,000RMB or less than US$140. 0.6 billion Chinese make under that. That’s from former premier Lee Keqiang. That statistics is for working age. Children and people over 65 aren’t factored in, so it’s more than half. The thing with China is its population is 4X that of U.S., so its top 10% living well can visually look like 40% of U.S. living well. Also keep in mind that stat was early 2020. It’s far worse now.
2
That wasn’t the point here. In the west, stories of lower class not making ends meet won’t get censored. People who speaks about their harsh conditions don’t get “disappeared”. Chinese know expose like these get them in trouble and yet they risk doing it. It’s a sign that they’ve had enough protecting CCP’s “face”.
1
You are missing the point. American journalists and citizens are ALLOWED to show the worst of U.S. to their fellow Americans and the world. China is allowed to promote its fabricated image to the world, including United States. Contents made by China criticizing U.S. is allowed to be shown in U.S., and U.S. government does not have a propaganda budget to show the worst of China. While Chinese journalists and citizens are BANNED from showing the worst of China both outside and inside the walls of China, and foreign criticism of China are BANNED within China, and THE STATE has a propaganda machine showing only the worst of U.S. to Chinese.

@jimzorn3853 Mark Mobius enjoyed his decades in China, that is until CCP denied him of cashing out his assets in China. The day will come.
1
@jimzorn3853 It’s all fine and dandy until it isn’t anymore. Ask Mark Mobius.

@tianlezheng6829 看看過去10年美國S&P500,再看看同時期的中國ETF。別鬧了。中國已經倒退回到2012,等於白忙了14年。
1
@jimzorn3853 Example? Are you aware during decades when U.S. troops were in Afghan, girls were able to go to school and once U.S. troops left, those kids were no longer safe to go to school? You are just blinded by propaganda. The moment U.S. left Afghan region, Chinese engineers working in that region were bombed and killed by terrorists, followed by Taliban announcing publicly that they can help secure China’s infrastructure from attacks if they are given enough resources. China understood the blackmail and sent Taliban money. That is what happens without U.S. troops sacrificing themselves to block disruptive actions. How much did global economy tank when Putin invaded Ukraine? Global job opportunities rely on global security, and global security relies on U.S. forces suppressing agents determined to disrupt global security.
1
@jimzorn3853 U.S. never started wars. U.S. intervenes ongoing wars that are destabilizing energy supply. Be grateful.

@Dubs22005 PLA didn’t need to cross a strait under missile rain to get to Tibet

Those are gorgeous.

They are offsprings of CCP officials. Very likely those money are taxpayers money. U.S. press was going to print an article exposing those people’s assets. CCP blocked U.S. from printing it with some negotiations.
1
Unfortunately, nothing close to uprising will happen. Chinese have this delusion that central government demands local government to take good care of people, and it's local government oppressing them. In many of their protests, you can see banners of "bullying the bottom, lying to the top". Chinese will actually end up being more DEPENDENT on central government as they see it as the only power to give their local government a good spanking, and therefore, making central government their only hope.

Mao's Great Leap Forward starved some 60million to death. CCP is still in power.
1
It was Pompeo who lifted restrictions for U.S. officials to visit Taiwan and for U.S. to accept or invite Taiwan's officials visiting U.S.
