  1. Unfortunately, nothing close to uprising will happen. Chinese have this delusion that central government demands local government to take good care of people, and it's local government oppressing them. In many of their protests, you can see banners of "bullying the bottom, lying to the top". Chinese will actually end up being more DEPENDENT on central government as they see it as the only power to give their local government a good spanking, and therefore, making central government their only hope.
