Yeah, they made the mistake of requiring unanimous support to evict someone from EU as if one country can’t be bought by another or a second country might be just as bad and align with the country in question. There are 27 EU countries so if 25/26 want you out, that should be enough to evict.

EU doesn’t even need Hungary. Poland was a problem but Poland is on board with action against Russia while Hungary is anti EU and pro Putin.

The EU will need to make Hungary suffer as much as possible so that Hungary will chose to leave on their own like the UK. No more money sent to Hungary, keep suing Hungary, pass EU laws that Hungary will hate, etc.

@eralfion5316 i would guess the more English a Hungarian speaks the more likely they are westernized and don’t support Oraban.
