  2.  @ballerblocks  Then all wars are ge-nocide. There is also a definition of ge-nocide. Most of those 1 million were not directly from the US but from opposition or iraqi forces.

  3.  @od9694  people forget that many countries had indicated support for military action against Iraq. The difference is those countries wanted to get UN approval first while Bush decided to act without UN approval.

  4.  @od9694  yes, back then I was against the war because there wasn’t UN approval. And despite Saddam being an international pariah and threat, I didn’t think an invasion was called for yet.

Just so everyone knows, OP justified invasion of Ukraine in other comments by arguing that since there was fighting in Feb 17 2022 in donbass (that was started after Russia invaded in 2014 and sent in private army and weapons to the separatist), it was justified for Russia to invade all of Ukraine! So his logic is that an evil nation can invade a country, start a war in another part of that country, and if the war is still going on years later, a full invasion is justified
