If you look at the UN vote on China's actions in Xinjian, most of the votes supporting China came from Africa. So, do you acknowledge the gen-ide in XJ? Can you acknowledge scary idea of China's influence in the region?

In South China Sea, it’s disputed by many countries but China has built large number of artificial islands and places massive military in it and threa tening anyone that comes near. You are arguing that if disputed and even though china doesn’t have the best claims, you are okay with them using such force to take it? East Sea is similar - disputed islands.

They care somewhat which is why they have sent billions in aid in the form of medical support, food aid when Africa is in trouble, and financial bailout support. Does that mean they are perfect and care tremendously? No, it just shows they do care to some extent. Unlike China that doesn’t do any of that and they only care about profiting — which sometimes can benefit both sides but it doesn’t mean at all China cares even one bit.

You suggest Iraq / Baghdad was actually in a bad spot in the Middle Ages because a “the Silk Road brought good trade but it also brought bandits who aimed at raising and stealing those goods”. China had the Mongols and many other groups nearby constantly raid and eventually take over. Italy was worn down by raids by Huns (who may be Turkic / Mongolian) and Germanic tribes. Most empires had to face those same issues Iraq faced but many of them have moved on from it.

  20.  @enticingmay435  Norway already started with a decent economy before the large reserves of oil and gas were discovered. That helps tremendously because that means Norway had a full properly functioning economy and government before the oil and gas. Most of the other sort of similar examples of small population with large energy reserves had little economy and badly run government (often because they just gained independence after centuries of being ruled by another).

No Air Force, no advance long range missile system, no navy, no top of the line tanks, etc. how would they send US and NATO to Stone Age? Do you mean nuke?   50.  @tsugumorihoney2288  Ukrainians started from scratch in 2014 and with US weak weapons are beating Russia. Ukraine is being trained but so have so many other militaries in the past. It takes a long time of training and creating a system to become a legit top level military. Ukraine is also receiving American intelligence information which also helps. Now imagine if Ukraine was given the full arsenal of US weapons — the top airplanes, drones, HIMARS with 300km range (not just the 50km range they have), and other advance missile systems
