  1. Back In 2021, I met this nice Venezuelan lady in Playa Del Carmen Mexico who owned the Venezuelan restaurant we were dining at. She told a similar story. She left Venezuela around 2008-2010 knowing things were going to get worse…and wow, they did.

  3. Yes, a little horse shoe effect. The further left and further right but are protectionist but from different motivations. As you stated, one is form nationalism (we are the best and must do everything ourselves) and the other is for lack of a better word social justice (we must protect all workers!).
