@piruz3243 Iranians current revolution is pro democracy and history shows that those generally lead to a better country in the long run. 79 revolution wasn’t pro democracy — it just wanted the shah removed. There were communist and religious groups working together who both opposed democracy and there were indeed smaller groups who were part of the revolution but were pro democracy. The revolution today in Iran would not settle for another ayatollah.
1
@piruz3243 what’s funny is you’re suggesting that it’s more likely to get worse in the long run for Iranians when it’s already really bad and probably can’t get worse than the current system. This is why you’re comments are so troubling — you’re suggesting it’s likely to get worse based on nothing but ignoring that it’s already about as bad as it will get. There really is only one way to go and it’s progress. even if the next government has issues it is more likely to be better than the current regime who is considering executing 16,000 protesters!
1
@piruz3243 well, I think you’re type of comments and OP often come off as being opposed to revolution against oppressive non elected leaders. Sure, not every revolution turns out well with many already from the start being bad when it’s a revolution to install another oppressive non democratic leader. But it really doesn’t seem to apply to Iran right now. This is anti Islamic government and pro democracy movement. The 79 revolution was lead by two major groups — religious extremist and communist. While both may have said they would support democracy, those type of groups rarely democratic. And in no way am I saying getting rid of the ayatollah regime will lead to smooth transition but I’m confident in the long run it will work out for them. The only possible major problem for Iran is if Kurdish region tries to break away from Iran while Iran is trying to sort out its issues. But even a free Kurdistan might be good in the good long run.
1
@piruz3243 reminder of the 1979 revolution without further context will appear to be in favor of keeping the status quote. That’s how many of them operate online so without context it just looks like that. I saw that so much from pro CCP Chinese about Hong Kong. They pretend to care for Hong Kong people and many claim to be from Hong Kong but argue against the protests because it’s better not to fight the CCP.

@piruz3243 I feel very bad for the Kurds. The Brits drew boundaries to divide the Middle East and keep people separate and in the process never gave the Kurds a country but always as the big minority to create conflict of interest- Iran Iraq and Turkey. Such a large population divided by 3 countries. Realistically, I can see them ever getting an independent country. Few countries are willing to give up lands. It’s happened relatively peaceful at times (but few) in say europe and I guess you can say the US did it with some of its territories but those US territories were not very vital to the US.

@ruleoftwo6174 comment doesn’t show probably for the last word. Try reposting without it. Does my original comment show? It would be above yours

China is certainly very poor. I agree. I’ve traveled through China and once you leave the rich touristy or business parts of the major cities, it get very poor quickly. Even see a lot more dog meat shops

@user-jt3dw6vv4x Asia found out how racist and incompetent Australia is so many Asians moved to Australia. OPs argument doesn’t hold but he’s paid by the CCP.
1
@user-jt3dw6vv4x OP Is from India and yet he as a few comments defending China and criticizing Australia. He’s choosing China over India when China is the enemy of Australia. Almost as if these Beijing workers might come up usernames that would mislead you where they are from.

You haven’t been here for a while? Simon left like 10 videos ago

@tawandamachona4481 “China only holds 21%”. That is the dumbest defense I’ve seen. 21%…from one single country!! And hey, what’s your view on the genocide happening in Xinjiang? I’m asking because China is using this debt to defend a genocide. Do you believe concentration camps as part of a genocide are happening in Xinjiang?
1
@GeoScorpion "Koreans HATE Japan." Koreans now hate China and of course North Korea even more than Japan so South Korea is becoming closer to Japan by necessity. Everyone in that region hates China the most.
1
Comrade Zhou, i totally believe you. Free Xinjiang! Free Tibet! Free Hong Kong! Free West Taiwan!

@ChinaSongsCollection “if there was forum i could share video links”…sent through YOUTUBE. What do you think YouTube is? Is this your way of saying (as I expected) that you defend the g8nocde of the Uyghurs? What video do you have? Is it of the conc camps? Is it of the torturing?
1
@黄沙百战穿金甲 what a surprise. I am also Uyghurs who just recently fled Xinjiang!
1
@黄沙百战穿金甲 sure, give me your address fellow Uyghur and I’ll stop by next time I go to Xinjiang to visit my family once they are out of the camps
1
@黄沙百战穿金甲 you are Indian pretending to be uyghur?
1
@黄沙百战穿金甲 oh, you think I’m the Indian! While you pretend to be uyghur using Chinese characters. Got it! Can’t trust the Chinese
1
@americanidiotinchief259 because I know you won’t reply with a source on the UN, here are some quotes: - Michelle Bachelet's long-planned trip this week has taken her to the far-western region, where China is alleged to have detained over a million Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities, as well as carried out forced sterilisation of women and coerced labour. - But Bachelet insisted Saturday her visit was "not an investigation". - This visit was not an investigation," she told reporters - It is the first trip to China by the UN's top rights envoy in 17 years and comes after painstaking negotiations over the conditions of her visit, which the UN says is neither a fact-finding mission nor a probe So not an investigation at all. Fourth for: - In her strongest comments aimed at Beijing, Bachelet urged China to avoid "arbitrary and indiscriminate measures" in its crackdown in Xinjiang So she said China is doing horrible things
1
@黄沙百战穿金甲 oh, you think I’m the Indian! While you pretend to be uyghur using Chinese characters. Got it! Can’t trust the 🇨🇳 people

Who threats Putin? Who write title?
1
Chí Phèo nguyễn dude, you aren’t even following the conversation or you are trolling. This is about communism and capitalism...therefore about communist China and communist USSR.
1
@W.A M.P chi pheo isn’t even making coherent arguments. Just a troll
1
@vTruongCuong ok, well Vietnam dumped what many consider communism. Even you would agree with that? That Vietnam if better off for embracing more capitalist policies.
1
@vTruongCuong so long as you embrace capitalism, you prosper. The more wealthy you get, the less capitalism you need. But for sure, to go from poor country and move into middle income country, you need to embrace more capitalism like China, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Ethiopia and Chile.
1
@ruggeddiscipline6026 this is the dumbest comment I’ve seen
1
@ruggeddiscipline6026 nothing for the first 400 years since there was little contact with sub Saharan Africa and then lots of bad for some 150 years. Then lots of good for the last 40 or so years.
1
@ruggeddiscipline6026 you’re extremely uneducated if you aren’t aware of the aid and support provided in the past 40 years. How can you be so uneducated on a topic that guy seem passionate about?
1
@ruggeddiscipline6026 spoken like an extremely uneducated person.

EU would rather make sure that international norms of respecting sovereignty are adhered to than make peace with Russia. Yeah, that’s the act of heroes — making sacrifices for the greater good
1
Lol. It just came out!
1
Mexico has too much corruption and consistently has a government that just wants to give money away to the poor rather than use the money to build up infrastructure, improve education, and and make more business friendly environment. Almost all the success stories in Asia were from that playbook. Until Mexico makes proper reforms and spends the money on things that will improve business and trade, mexico will just have modest gains relative to Asia.
1
Johnson Li also, 4 Covid deaths this year? Even though they reported tens of thousands of infected this year? Lol, that would mean that it’s 1/100 as deadly in China than in the rest of the world. Are you allowed to criticize China or do you just believe what the CCP tells you?
1
@P4DR you subscribe to Grayzone which is a mis info organization where there is evidence it’s founder has ties to Russia which is why they ONLY write positive stories about Russia China Maduro and Assad in Syria. Says a lot about you
1
@sleepyjoe4529 China is expected to have double the US population in 2100 but Chinas gdp per capita is 1/4 the US. China might actually drop to 3rd in population by 2100 behind India and Nigeria
1
@internetuser2721 Chinas working age population peaking might be why it’s growth is slowing. This year will be the 2nd year in 3 years they will have growth under 4%.
1
@Superpooper-2020 Comrade Zhou, i totally believe you. Free Xinjiang! Free Tibet! Free Hong Kong! Free West Taiwan!
1
@keyboardmanyoutube3189 the ones in Xinjiang are in conc camps so that might be more important. After that, I agree, free those in India.
1
@internetuser2721 100%. The demographics is why the base level gdp of China isn’t 10% but say 6-7% now. And then it’s lower than that because of the factors you mentioned that are more short term such as mounting debt, Real estate crisis, and COVID lockdowns. And the CCP hasn’t been honest about gdp figures with some estimates saying China inflated their gdp numbers by 1-2% points which is a lot when taken over 20 years. Given that China opening up more means it’s more difficult to hide gdp numbers, it’s possible a big part of the decline is less padding to the gdp.
1
@ChinaSongsCollection ive traveled inland China. It’s very poor and parts are as poor as Africa. Not sure of cave livin but many do live in shacks and huts in certain areas. I also think inland China is beautiful but mainstream China tries to hide inland China because the CCP is too worried about looking rich.
1
@ChinaSongsCollection nah, CCP is trying to hide it. Xi only focuses on the FORMERLY poor areas and you know this. And when state media shows the poor areas, it’s the beautiful village life only not the dirt poor types. You also know this. Free Xinjiang!! Free Tibet! Free Hong Kong! Free West Taiwan!
1
@ChinaSongsCollection guy blindly defending China is upset with free Xinjiang. Hey, what’s going on Xinjiang? Are you allowed to say? Seems like you defends g8nocide with the way you have been defending Xi so far. But please prove to us that dont defend the g8nocide in Xinjiang
