The video mentions it’s bad to raise taxes on corporations, bad for try to move away from fossil fuel, bad provide more services, etc.

Some estimates have China's GDP real gdp at maybe half of what China reports so their total debt to GDP could be easily over twice that as the US. Considering that Chinese currency is only the 5th most used currency and the US is far away above, this is a big problem for China. Or it will be if their economy sees more stagnant long term growth.

So you think the dozens of countries in Latin America that speak Spanish, are predominantly Catholic, have similar goods and customs, etc is somehow less homogeneous than sub Saharan Africa where there are dozens of major languages, dozens of religions, etc?

  14.  @tiberiupaslaru3830  I agree. Europe has many languages with 3 major religions (Catholics Protestant orthodox). While there are indeed many shared cultural elements, they are certainly less homogeneous than Spanish speaking Latin American countries.

I knew that English was often used between people of different languages in India but never realized a major reason many speak English is to have a language to speak with others. Sure they could all learn Hindi as well as a second language but there probably a couple reasons English is often chosen. The biggest is that if you learn English, you are also learning THE international language. The second is just a guess but perhaps someone say speaking Bengali wouldn’t want Hindi forced on them in order to protect their Bengali language and culture.

There are plenty of videos of people trying to get near the camps and being blocked by Chinese security officials — so if there isn’t anything going on, why can’t many people get near the camps? One brave Chinese citizen did record many of the facilities from the outside and had to do so secretly. If China is innocent, why did this Chinese citizen have to flee China before releasing the video?

China singed a huge energy deal with Russia and signed a friendship pact with Russia two weeks before the invasion while Russia had 150,000+ troops surrounding Ukraine. An invasion that intel suggest was delayed until after the Olympics to not distract from China's Olympics. They benefited based on their desire to cause pain on the west -- but you are right, if you remove that benefit that only is a benefit for Xi, China has not benefited from this.

I have played OPFOR in STEX Lanes we hold at the Battalion and Company Level. I have also played OPFOR in exercises similar to the ones held at JRTC/NTC, which are one or more Brigades (3500+ People) in a large scale simulated fight against one or more Enemy Brigades. - Spoiler Alert, BLUFOR always loses. Badly. Sometimes they actually achieve their objectives, but the cost is so high it would actually be considered a loss by the general public. Mostly though, they get put through a grinder that their leadership, or TRADOC leadership, uses to shape future Army Training and Equipment needs. *These types of exercises are stacked against BLUFOR from the start.*

That will lead to a lot of western firms taking the losses in China and leaving the China market.
